Don’t wish me a Happy Mother’s Day
And then deny me and my children options for health care.
Don’t wish me a Happy Mother’s Day
And then tell me that I can’t get birth control if I don’t want any more children.
Don’t wish me a Happy Mother’s Day
And not address the need for good jobs to feed my family.
Don’t wish me a Happy Mother’s Day
And then reduce funding and ignore the problems with Education.
Don’t wish me a Happy Mother’s Day
And then try to dictate whether or not my child can marry based on who they chose to love.
Don’t wish me a Happy Mother’s Day
And then ignore that industries are polluting the nation’s water and air.
Don’t wish me a Happy Mother’s Day
And then allow Wall Street to rape my savings and investments.
Don’t wish me a Happy Mother’s Day
And pretend to be “just like me” when you have never known hunger or fear for your children.
Don’t wish me a Happy Mother’s Day
And then expect me to behave as a slave, silent and in the background.
Don’t wish me a Happy Mother’s Day once a year
And spend every other day trying to destroy everything I work for in the name of “freedom”, while removing my rights one by one.
My children, my family, are my future, and the future of this nation.
Don’t wish me a Happy Mother’s Day, unless you truly share the joy of being a Mother and understand your responsibility to the future of this nation.
As the children of the nation go…. so goes the nation…

Hopefully women voters will remember this on election day and vote for Democratic candidates in November.
Make the Senators and Congressmen and Mitt Romney pay for their war against women. Tell them “SHARIA LAW” is not an option here in the United States of America.

The GOP always pays lip service to things like motherhood and the sanctity of life, while their legislative actions undermine the quality of life for so many and the ability of women to be the best mothers they can be–either by attacking programs helpful to families or by interfering with the very birth control that prevents forced motherhood. So, their trumpeting of motherhood as sacred sounds extremely empty.
