We laugh it off now. Some in our govt wish they had that kind of control over us. Barr is out there bringing up big issues and not saying the politically correct things. That is what I like.
He has a great campaign website.

The fact that Barr seems on target with this one shows that even a stopped clock is right twice a day. I’ve seen his campaign website, and looked at him on the issues, and frankly, of all the candidates running for president, he is easily the worst. Through the years he has proven himself to be an enemy of most things socially progressive–an odd choice for the libertarians.

i get what he’s saying on this issue, though.

Barr is easily the best option for president. I don’t agree with ALL of his beliefs but we need someone in office that is going to fight for small government and individual privacy. There is no fiscal conservative to vote for besides Barr. Barr wouldn’t change everything all at once, it would just get us going in the right direction.

I like that phrase, ’socially progressive’, wow! Like spying on the citizens and curtailing their freedoms is socially progressive! You CAN fool most of the people most of the time!

A vote for Bob Barr is a true protest vote. It represents a vote against the establishment and a vote FOR the ideas of individual liberty and smaller government.

I keep hearing about people holding their noses this election. Keep supporting and voting for the Republicans and Democrats and one day the stench will be awfull! All hail to the new dictator.

The Republican and Democratic parties have become arrogant and third parties are on the edge of dying. Ballot access requirements are bankrupting them…Support the Libertarians!www.LP.ORG

    -anti-choice
    -voted for the PATRIOT act
-sought to restrict religious freedoms by attempting to have the Pentagon ban the Wicca faith (you’d think a libertarian might support religious freedom)
-while in congress, he was often referred to as the most conservative person there

Hey, I’m not saying the guy doesn’t have good points–just saying he’d never earn my vote. While I’m not a Libertarian, I do know people that are, and are not voting for Barr.

I will say this though: It will be VERY INTERESTING to see what impact he has on this election. He’s sort of a conservative Ralph Nader.
