When Donny Deutsch appears on MSNBC, for better or worse, something interesting always happens. Today he was on Morning Joe talking about Rush Limbaugh when he called Rush a “megalomaniac and a scary, distasteful, human being,” and while talking about Limbaugh’s bid to own an NFL team called him a douche.

TVNewser picks up the story from there, “Then, a few minutes later, Scarborough and Deutsch discussed Limbaugh’s potential part-ownership an NFL team and the comments that led to his departure from ESPN. During the conversation, the audio cut out while Deutsch was talking and Scarborough said, semi-laughing, “…bleeped that out again. Why did you have to do that? Why?”
Deutsch later explained why he was bleeped, “I called Rush Limbaugh a feminine hygiene product that starts with a D and sounds like my last name. It was bleeped you can’t say that on TV.” Donny has never hid his distaste for Limbaugh, but it was news to me that you can’t say douche on the air. MSNBC should consider themselves lucky, because it seems that Deutsch was actually restraining himself.
It is humorous that MSNBC felt the need to bleep out a playground insult that has been used on South Park about a billion times. We can probably start the countdown clock on when Rush Limbaugh will go on the attack against Deutsch now. I don’t know if I would have called Rush a douche on the air, but it is fair to point out that the only thing bigger than Limbaugh’s delusions is his ego.

Limbaugh has more money than msnbc or any other news organization. I would love to follow this story to it’s conclusion, I think it would be great and we could see how the news organizations and these celebrity journalists really work. He should sue.

Why is it that this country can be so anti drug that Tommy Chong is JAILED for selling BongS just to smoke pot , a more excepted drug by the day , and then spend hours every day listening to some pudgey drug addict……… who did enough hard narcotics ( AND forced his employees to get them for him unlawfully ) that he went DEAF !! just how many Oxycotans and Vycodans do you have to do the get deaf ……. and how ignorant do you have to be to overlook this hypocrosy and listen to this pus pushing idiot . I guess I find it kind of funny that this happens, you know, I can honestly speak through life experience. I understand you are just speaking on his ethos, but you are connotating it with his name. I’m 18 and my last name is Deutsch as well, it’s actually kind of scary to search threads in this regard, I mean, I usually always see this argument. I seem to be one of the only people online that probably openly admit to this, as I don’t care about it really any more. I remember in a gov’t class I had once we were talking about Donny and, granted it was a smaller class, but some kid (who was like buddy-buddy with the teacher) called him that word and the teacher kinda cringed and looked over at me and i just kinda smiled and shrugged. I guess many people today don’t get the luxury treatment I’ve gotten (lucky me hey?) and I suppose that it was more an issue with the politics-centric school I went to. Ah, well, what am I gonna do eh?

Where is the line between Free Speech and Libel/Slander? As Jim Irsay just said on Rush buying Rams: “We’ve got to watch our words in this world and our thoughts because they can do damage.
I would like to see people be financially libel for the harm their words cause. When Bill-O, Beck-O and Rush-O incite unwitting, unthinking dittoheads to carry firearms to public forums, etc. someday there will be harm.

What does bringing guns to events have to do with Bill O, Beck or even Rush? Was it CNN or MSNBC that ran the story and cropped the film so you couldn’t see that this man was a black (unsure if you think that is politically correct speech) man carrying the gun. If he had the right to carry it who cares. The people you need to be afraid of are the criminals, they are the ones that will not show their guns, or have you even thought of this? Do these liberal “shows” need to watch their propaganda they put out ? They reason they do it is to cause more loss of freedom of speech and right. They are an arm of the democratic/marxist party.
