Racist Limbaugh Claims the White Man is Doing Obama’s Work for Him

In an interview on Fox News, noted scholar and college dropout, Rush Limbaugh claimed that President Obama did not do his own work in law school, while hinting at race, “I think this is the first time in his life that there’s not a professor around to turn his C into an A or to write the law review article for him he can’t write.”

Here is the video courtesy of Think Progress:

Limbaugh said, “I think this is the first time in his life that there’s not a professor around to turn his C into an A or to write the law review article for him he can’t write. He’s totally exposed and there’s nobody to make it better. I think he’s been covered for all his life. The fact that his agenda failed this year is the best thing that could have happened to this country.”

Limbaugh is indulging in more racial stereotypes here. He is hinting that because Obama is black, others at Harvard Law School did the work for him. I am guessing that in Limbaugh’s mind there is no way that a black man could be that smart, so he is trying to portray Obama as some sort of Affirmative Action baby who made it to the White House.

Any critic of Obama who is in touch with reality will admit that the president is intelligent. It is deplorable of Limbaugh to attempt to belittle a man’s intelligence because of the color of his skin.

I am sure that Limbaugh’s defenders will claim that Rush wasn’t talking about race, but given the context of Limbaugh’s consistent forays into race based politics, his subtle message was clear. Rush and the rest of the right wing continue to try to tap into the dark subconscious of the American political psyche. This is a dangerous game to play in exchange for a few more seats in Congress.

once AGAIN?! It’s easy to see Obama is a smart, articulate fellow, even if you don’t like him. So, where’s your proof, Limp-maw? It would be hilarious if Obama sued limp-doh! for libel…

can he go before he becomes street grime? Oh, wait….I just scraped some rush off my shoes.

He is absolutely appalling. But what can you expect from a college drop out who flunked out of every class he took? Just what kind of affirmative action for sociopathic drug addicts with no values got Rush his current job???

even satirically where you mean the opposite gives me a cognitive dissonance headache.

If ever anyone was the anti-scholar, anti-education poster clown, it’s Rush — representing all of the anti-elite, we-hate-anyone-smarter-or-better-educated-than-we-are dittoheads, catering to his own and their deficiencies.

Perhaps the problem is that you fail to recognize and understand racism when you hear it.

How was that racist? I have listened to Rush 1000′s of times and have never heard a racist word from him. The magic negro bit was from the LA times article Not from Rush limbaugh. If you can’t destroy the message destroy the messenger.
