I don’t think he knows how much damage he does to the Republican party. They are single-handily destroying their own party because they don’t know when to shut up. It is really kind of funny to listen to them destroy the thing they are trying to hold onto. I am not a Republican, but I am neither a Democrat either. So watching the Republican party go down in flames is pretty funny.

But I can understand how angry he is about people comparing Obama to a God. Obama is NOT a good President. People have a high opinion of him, but if you look at his policies and actions while in the White House, you can see how awful of a President he actually is. Obama, like Bush, have no business being in the White House. They both lacked experience and common sense. Unfortunately, though, you can’t criticize Obama without being called a racist. Obama is really really bad, and a complete liar on top of that.

In response to another reader’s comments, I propose that Obama is in fact an excellent president, and his actions thus far are largely reflective of that fact. While no one is perfect, for the most part Barack has taken our nation in a direction far preferable to the disastrous route we traveled on during the Bush years.

Rush Limbaugh is the living embodiment of all that is wrong with the contemporary Republican part. His racist, elitist, arrogant rants are reflective of exactly the kind of negative extremist philosophy which is destroying the Republican party. As a Democrat, it pleases me to see the opposing party going down in self-ignited flames. But as an American it saddens me to think that this man is representative of the views of my fellow citizens.

The !right wing & republicans have been calling him “the savior” (with sarcasm implied) since before he was elected.

Up until this incident I have not heard any moderate, centrist or democrat call him any such thing.

How is it that Limbaugh was not offended when his friends were doing that?
