Limbaugh Denies that Healthcare Protesters Carry Swastika Signs

On his radio show today, Rush Limbaugh denied that the mobs protesting healthcare are carrying signs that feature swastikas. “We have found one picture of a protester with a swastika on the sign and it had a line drawn through it,” maybe Rush needs to look a little harder, because on her show, Rachel Maddow featured various Nazi/swastika signs.

Limbaugh said, “Once again folks, I’m telling you Nancy Pelosi started this. If she didn’t want to go down this road she should not have said that there are people at these town hall meetings carrying signs with swastikas on them, and by the way we have looked, we have found one picture of a protester with a swastika on the sign, and it had a line drawn through it meaning no, it was not supported. It was meaning no, haven’t found one beyond that, and even that one that was found has been misrepresented by people like Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House.”

The Obama swastika signs are a staple at anti-Obama protests. They were at the tea bag protests, and the anti-stimulus rallies. One has to be blind, crazy, or high in order to deny that the signs aren’t there, when there is proof that they are showing up at these town hall meetings. The problem for those who are trying to pretend that these protests are organic events is that they are strikingly similar to other anti-Obama protests.

Limbaugh isn’t fooling anyone, with the exception of his blind audience that wants to believe that the tide is turning against Obama, and that they actually have a chance of regaining power. By the way, Pelosi didn’t start this. It was the right wing ramblings of talk show hosts who compared Obama to the Nazis that started all of this. Rush is once again residing in his own mixed up delusion.
