On MSNBC’s Morning Joe today Mika Brzezinski expressed concerned that the conservative voice wasn’t being well represented by Glenn Beck. This comment sent Beck on the warpath. Beck and his crew mocked her on his radio show, and Beck told Mike to, “Shut the hell up.” It is looks like Beck has a new enemy.

Brzezinski said, “Well, and I think that obvious a lot of people have different reactions to Glenn Beck, and he has a huge following. I will say that my reaction is one of real concern, and I think it is because I feel like the conservative voice isn’t being well represented, and he is tapping into something that may not be so constructive in terms of raising the bar of the conversation and representing the conservative voice in an elegant way.”

Beck said, “She was on this morning and she said you know what really bothers me about Glenn Beck, the right they have this guy making the case for the conservatives. She’s concerned that it’s not an elegant argument. Shut the hell up. Shut the hell up.”

With that statement Beck confirmed Brzezinski’s entire point. Mika is confusing Beck with someone who is a serious voice. Beck isn’t trying to lead a movement. His goals are big ratings and big money. Brzezinski is correct that conservatives should be concerned that their voices of their movement are people like Beck and Limbaugh. They both appeal to paranoia and the worst elements of our politics.
What’s even worse for conservatives is that Beck and Limbaugh aren’t political figures, so they could care less who wins elections in this country. They are in the media business, and in Beck’s case especially, business is booming under a Democratic administration. It would be in his best financial interest for conservatives to stay scared and Democrats to stay in power.
It is interesting that in the very same MSNBC segment, Joe Scarborough tore Beck a new one, but since Joe is a Republican, Beck overlooked that. It was funny to hear Beck and his crew claim that nobody watches Morning Joe, when everyone knows that is the top rated morning cable news show. The “Independent” Beck once again revealed his true colors.

glenn beck and mika hmmmm. not enough nasty and hate spewed yet…. keep going , keep going, pretty soon all the fear, hate, and downright unfairness will destroy us all. We all laughed at the why can’t we all get along tag, but why not. Europe and the rest of the world already thinks we’re petty jokes. We call each other morons and idiots if we happen to disagree and its ok? We tear down each other when we haven’t done the other a moments harm. What are we teaching our children? even halloween gets more play than easter or christmas, where is all of this going?

I’m retired and have time to get involved with things I have previously addressed on a personal level through position and responsibility. I have mostly addressed corrupt individuals and environments while re-establishing sound fundamental training to avoid future resurgence of misappropriations and waste diminishing company prosperity.
You have been the most pleasant of Staples on Joe in the morning by avoiding the outrageous enthusiasm and condescending slurs most commentators on your network use in unsubstantiated support of this administrations questionable actions.
Recently the attitude of your station drastically changed as exemplified by the other commentators aboard, but you still seem to maintain your character. I admire this as it shows integrity and conviction as opposed to superficial benefactor demands.
My concerns are to awaken honest media personalities to the damage being done to our nation through perpetrating the message sent to the masses of Citizens without any forethought of effect or validation to the Pep Rally Rhetoric spewed by this Congress.
This is the most crucial time in history for our Republics Survival as 50 years of orchestrated bad policies and exorbitant waste has established conditions of indebtedness and confusion within our society. To succeed where many previous attempts failed, is probable with all deterrents legislated inert and the systematic burning of our bridges to recovery.
It is my contention that if any bills are allowed to pass this year, sandwiched in will be verbiage overriding our Constitution to allow Foreign Bodies to dictate policy with the coming of the New Year. Some of these will be Gun Control, Containment, UN Troop Marshall Law authority, HCR guidelines and Medication/home remedy Cost Controls.
With Hope and Fear being the motivators to seniors citizens with dementia, how effective is the timing for this radical and catastrophic event. Be a savior. Good luck.

Did you guys ever stop to think that you have nothing to write about but bad Republicans because it’s been decades since the Democrats did anything good? Obviously, we are supposed to be motivated to defend Democrats against the assaults of the clearly wrong Right.
