then auto stocks drop like a rock enabling the well-connected, well-healed folks to buy, buy, buy stocks related to the auto industry(and there are many)then SURPRISE! The auto industry gets it’s billions of dollars and the auto stocks SOAR. Ok, I get it now…(Of course most normal folks will not have the money to be able to afford a piece of that pie, and besides, even if they did they don’t have the inside info like the well-connected folks).

American auto manufacturers have been fighting the consumer for years. We demand better fuel economy and less pollution and they have ignored us. They spend lavishly and offer bonus checks as American plants are closed and imports gain more of the market.

American auto manufactures must end the crazy tactic of offering a single vehicle and selling it under various brands. This is a wastefull practice that other car manufactures around the globe do not participate in.

The auto industry can not sit back and continue on it’s crash course but must look at the industry and seek real change if it is to survive. The government should not offer any money unless there is a clear plan for change that would eliminate wastefull spending and secure American jobs.
