Glenn Beck Calls Obama America’s Slavemaster

On his FNC program today Glenn Beck launched into another one of his Marxist control rants when he couldn’t resist a little bit of that old time racism, “The most effective way to become the slavemaster and make them come to you is to make them come to you for employment.”

Here is the video courtesy of Media Matters:

Beck said, “But more importantly, if you are going to control people, if you are really going to control them how do make them dependant? How do you make it like heroin? Sure you can change the radio stations or the TV. You can control their energy supplies or even make them go to you can even make them go to you, if you want a new business or you need a loan go to the government for it.”

He continued, “But the most effective way to become the slavemaster and make them come to you is to make them come to you for employment. How could you ever, if you are the president lose your job if the voter understands that if I vote for the competitor, who wants to reduce the size of government, that means my job goes away. I’ll lose my job. The real power grab is getting them into your employ.”

The slavemaster comment could easily be overlooked if Beck didn’t have a history of making racial claims against President Obama. Beck has never called a white politician a slavemaster, but on April 9, 2008 Beck called Obama a slavemaster.

He also made the same claim on his television show on February 11, 2009:

It is nonsense like this that makes it impossible to take the GOP’s outrage over Harry Reid’s idiotic comments seriously. With Glenn Beck is on the air calling Obama a slavemaster and a racist, it is tough to believe that the right wing gives a damn about issues of race and civil rights.

People like Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh play into the racial fears of their overwhelmingly white audiences on a daily basis, so it is impossible to believe a person like RNC Chairman Michael Steele when he is professing his love of Beck one day, and his expressing his outrage over Reid’s comments the next. The Republicans have no credibility here, which is where they’re outrage at Harry Reid reeks of shameless political exploitation.

Slavemaster used to describe a man of color whether it is for skin color or actions is racist peorid.

You, as much as all others who need to justify any misgiving, see an opportunity to mislay fault and unscrupulously take it. The only racism I see is you who insist on making every issue about race, when the issue itself has nothing to do with it. Slavemaster is a commentary on Obama’s actions and words not his skin color. I am reminded of MLK Jr.’s words that a man be judged on the content of his character. This is what is being judged. This is not bigotry, no matter how much you WANT it to be.

This article is typical Liberal misguidance. Because Beck indirectly refers to Obama as a slavemaster in no way reflects ANY race orientation. Anytime a person of loose journalistic values wants to cause waves, or stick it to someone, they bring race in to the picture. Give me a break. I would hope the American public would be wise to such tricks by now.

It not racist to call a head of state who is black to which Beck claims hates white people and is calling that head of state a slavemaster? YES, YES IT IS racist this is the GOP problem they will never ba able to gain any where but in the old white people. Until the GOP wake up a and start being inclusive, the GOP will never be a part that matters any more.

What you’re suggesting is that the term “slavemaster” has no racial undertones or implications. Does not evoke race in any way.

Or did black people own white people here in America? Did whites not have the right to vote or marry or live with their families because a black slave owner was in charge of their lives? Were white people considered “2/3″ a person?

Gee, help me out here, because I’m just lost. Did Glenn happen to mention just when white Americans were owned by black people? I must be the product of a liberal education, because that part was clean cut out of my history books! Glenn will save us all!

Thank god they’re re-writing history books in Texas and conservatives even made their own bible! Everyone else in the entire world who remembers things differently is full of “BS”, as Sarah Palin so eloquently put it last night.

I wonder when paranoia becomes a political party’s platform what will be next.

Beck knows exactly what he’s doing. He LOVES stirring up controversy and stirring up his viewers and he knew saying “Slavemaster” would get a big rise out of them, many who are bigots. Get a clue!

Are the real slave masters. The president is merely the facilitator, regardless of political affiliation. This is why Beck is all wet.
