I have to agree with the zany liberal's comments above. Not only is Webb not ready, but if the party runs him with Obama, they run the risk of losing his Senate seat back to the GOP. Democrats could easily go after Hispanic voters by putting Obama and Richardson together, or if they could convince John Edwards to do another VP run, he would also appeal to poor white Southern voters. Webb has only been Sec. of the Navy. I think Obama needs a running mate with more experience.
