A Japanese company just released a prototype of the car that runs on water, it uses the HHO model for turning H2O in its ionic parts allowing the Hydrogen to burn and releasing the Oxygen into the atmosphere, they are looking to either Honda or Toyota to make a HHO model in the next year using their technology. So the years it would take to find and drill or oil would be wasted (and so would coastlines)for no good reason, because we would be driving water powered cars by the time they found oil and brought it to the surface.
