War does not equal foreign policy

The flaw in your argument is that you equate military service to foreign policy experience. Using your logic, anyone who is career military would make a better president than someone who wasn't. Serving in the military and foreign policy expertise aren't the same thing. McCain can try to wrap himself in the flag, but it doesn't mask the fact that he is a deeply flawed candidate touting deeply flawed policies.
