Let's Get Something Settled Here In A Civilized Manner
God has many names. Yes, the Bible states that in the Old Testament. The current Pope knows the LORD as "Gott" in his native language, German. In French the LORD's Name is "Dieu", in Spanish "Dios", Greek "Theos", in Japanese "Kami" and in Arabic He's called "Allah". Referring to Allah as another god is ignorant, Christians who speak Arabic call the LORD "Allah". In Ehiopia (and in the Carribean) He is known as "Jah". In Native American languages He is referred to by names like "Grandfather", "Creator Raven" and often the "Great Spirit" even by Christianized Native Americans. This so-called "minister" needs to do his homework and READ the Scriptures more intensely. Religious belief shouldn't be mixed up with politics. As long as the candidate's beliefs do not harm or are destructive to others or are forced on other people then it doesn't matter. Religion and politics DO NOT EVER mix, in a democracy church and state are ALWAYS separate. Remember what the First Amendment clearly says? BTW "Hindu" doesn't refer to just one religion - it is several faiths with various dieties. Allah is God. Buddha, on the other hand, is something else altogether. Siddhartha Gautauma Buddha was an actual living philosopher in India. He lived, and he died. He was just a mortal person like ourselves. Have a good day. Peace.
