Gallup Poll Shows Unemployment Down To 7.3%
By: RayOct. 12th, 2012more from Ray
Gallup’s 30 day moving average poll finds unemployment has dropped to 7.3%. While not an official jobs number in the sense that the BLS numbers are, it obviously correlates to the recent BLS numbers that had the right wing in a frenzy of conspiracy talk. Also correlating to the improving BLS numbers are the facts that recent jobless claims numbers are dropping dramatically and today’s consumer confidence number hit a 5 year pre recession high.
So, all this new information should put the conservative conspiracy theorists to rest and they can take off the tin foil hat. This isn’t a conspiracy to re-elect President Obama; rather, it is a mandate that he should be re-elected considering the economic indicators. He has handled the economy well and has continued to be a steady hand at the wheel of history.
Will the news media pick up stories like this? No, of course not. If the American people knew this information readily, the race would be blown wide open by President Obama and nobody would tune into their stations.
The media needs a horse race — one that increases ad revenue from the campaigns and causes viewers to tune in more often and attracts more commercials.
The bottom line is that the economy is on the mend. This is similar to Morning in America under Reagan, except back then the Democrats weren’t rooting for failure as the GOP is doing today.

Thanks, Ray!
As a jobs number wonk, I put together a graph a few months ago that compared and contrasted the Gallup numbers with the BLS numbers. The Gallup numbers are more volatile, but they rise and fall in concert with the BLS numbers.
I will have to update that and post it.
I just don’t know what to say to people who say that nothing has improved. We have 2,600,000 more people working than a year ago, and even if some of these stats are a bit off due to sampling errors, this still indicates a really, really big bump in people working.

Of course this is a massive Left wing conspiracy by all of the Muslim, communist, black, atheists in the media and in the government. No conservative in their right mind would ever work in any of these various outlets that are reporting that the economy is steadily improving.
If there was just one good conservative at work at any media outlet, the BLS, Gallup etc. Then they would have been able to put a stop to all of this misinformation spread by those who want to turn this country over to China.
Look at last night’s debate. Paul Ryan had to debate BOTH a VERY rude Joe Biden AND a left wing moderator who didn’t give Ryan a fair chance.

I believe you are wrong its a conspiracy of the gay Muslim communist black atheists, not the regular Muslim communist black atheists.

This is yet another statistic that negates the case for making Willard Romney president. Since he claims that we wouldn’t vote for him if we knew his plans, that’s all we need to know to vote against him. That’s on top of all we’ve learned about his character. He’s devoid of a moral core, compassion, or truth. There is nothing in his political or professional history that should convince anyone he would make as good a president as Barack Obama, much less a better one. I can imagine that the far right loons are stewing in the juices of their own frustration at failing to make a case against our president.

Well, obviously this wasnt one of the reasons. please watch and pass this video on. It shows the Romney we know in Mass. The one who can’t even carry his home state in the election because we know what he’s really like! www.youtube.com/watch?...
