It’s amazing to me that PLUS 69,000 is “bad” “disappointing” “a failure” “dismal” etc., but when you compare it to job losses of hundreds of thousands per month during President G.W. Bush, it looks pretty darn good. You also don’t hear the media or Republicans digging into these numbers like you did. In fact, job losses and the uptick in unemployment were due almost entirely to states laying off public service workers as states try to deal with dire budget cuts.

Martin Bashir is becoming a national treasure, his
comments on the jobs numbers were spot on and really rile up republicans.

Thanks for this, Ray. It beats the “sky is falling” missives I’ve been reading, including one that screamed that if the election were held today, Romney would win?

Really? Because the President is still ahead of him in the majority of polls.

This jobs report was a hard one to take, but the panic it’s brought on hasn’t helped. Plus, the MSM seem very reluctant to actually point the fingers at the GOP, whose obstructionism has not allowed for true job creation bills to be passed.
