I don’t feel the slightest sympathy for the GOP, as they are reaping what they have sown in the form of Willard Mitt Romney. They allowed the crazies to take over their party, and anyone who aspired to be the GOP nominee had to pander to the madness of the Tea Partiers, whether they believed the nonsense or not. That’s probably why folks like Jeb Bush opted out of running for the 2012 nomination process of the GOP. Although I am completely fed up with the Bushes in politics, it’s obvious that he doesn’t like the direction his party has taken. It’s a sad commentary that the quality of the GOP competitors for the party’s nomination is so low, and Willard Romney is no exception. As clueless, out of touch, and gaffe-prone as Romney is, the fact that he is now his party’s nominee is no laughing matter. I have no doubt that any Republican who gets to be president has to rubber stamp the agenda of the misanthropic, greedy Koch brothers, ALEC, and Grover Norquist. We Democrats all need to get out and vote and avoid being complacent, and not count on the lack of enthusiam among Republicans. As unenthusiastic as they are, their irrational hatred of Barack Obama is a strong motivator to vote even for the lackluster Willard Romney.

I’ve been reading up on mormons, apparently they want to take over the government and the country, base the government in Missouri and they all will get their own planet.

It is very hard to be optimistic on the 2012 election based just on Mitt Romney's lack of performance.

Both parties need a positive message. President Obama has begun to call out the need to continue our progress, but Democratic avtivists have to start working that rich vein, too.

The government is doing its job and providing relief for the jobless and support for the under-employed. This is not an insignificant matter.

The job creators continue to sit on their money, fearing that the government will present them big tax bills, or worse that continuing deficts will erode the purchasing power of the dollar through run away inflation.

It is important to keep teachers on the job to educate new workers, to draw industry back into the US to create jobs for them. The private sector clearly cannot do these things.

We need to continue and expand the acitvist role of government that President Obama has laid out. It is the only the rest of our lives that we are trying to save.

The old Republican goons vote, and they view being Republican as identical to whatever religion they were brought up in. The thought of voting anything different is blasphemy, an assault on their identy and sense of self.
These people just can't die soon enough, because that's what it will take to get them out of the electorate.
