Even before the point where he could not contain his smiles, the pursed, prissy expression around his mouth was that of one who was trying with all his might to suppress a smirk, and the low, pompous rumble of his voice was patently an effort to sound grave in the face of an urge to laugh.

II guess its a matter of taste. Terrorists killed four people and has immediate reaction was to make up a lie to attack the president. Then he stood there in the press conference and told lie after lie after lie. The smirk, Romney’s glibness, his refusal to apologize for lying about Obama’s reaction, and the fact that all his answers and explanations were nothing but ignorant dishonest nonsense rubbed liberals the wrong way. When he smiled as he was walking off stage it looked like he was pleased with that fiasco of a press conference. Liberals don’t think his performance was something anyone would be proud of.

You don’t see it that and explain the smiles away as being good public speaking technique. You don’t see what liberals see because you completely ignore the larger context in which those smiles occurred. That’s the difference between your view and the view of liberals
