As much as I despise the snowbilly grifter, I don’t think it’s fair to compare her approval ratings to past Presidential approval ratings as if they’re a 1 to 1 comparison. She’s unpopular, sure, and she should be. But her approval rating compared to, say, Nixon’s, or Obama’s, is somewhat irrelevant. She’s not the President (thank Cthulhu), so we might as well compare this to the approval rating of the Yankees.
And I don’t know that the nadir (so far) of her popularity is something to be celebrated, at least for Democrats. If I were of the persuasion, I’d want Sarah Lou to have a chance of succeeding, since I’d be more or less guaranteed to win against her. When you throw weird variables into the conversation, like a Pawlenty or a Trump (seriously. A Trump.), coupled with a dip in the economy, you can get all kinds of weird results. Come on, Sarah, show those liberal elites that there’s no bottom to your pit, no finish line to your marathon of pain and stupidity, and grab that nomination. You deserve it. You’re our #1 grifter, for now and forever.

That’s what I thought too, she’s not a president, she’s never been a president and she never will be a president, to compare her to them is apples and oranges. She’s a wanna be that hasn’t quit campaigning for a Vice President position she lost and I don’t think anyone told her.

America’s sweetheart? Not so much. As you said in one of your articles, she is the Glenn Close from “Fatal Attraction”. I have also always seen her as Tonya Harding for some reason. She’s crude, rude, mean, scrappy, classless and plays in the gutter. Apparently Americans have better taste than to fall for a cleaned up Tonya Harding who can’t wait to get into the Wh so she can knee-cap America.
You made my night with this one. My faith in Americans is at a high.
What’s to stop Charlie Sheen from running for the GOP? He has all of the prerequisites. He’s even already been arrested. Not sure if he has stolen anything from taxpayers though, so that might be a glitch. If he starts ranting about evil thug teachers and liberal elites, he can win the hearts and minds of the GOP base. Oh, and Charlie, ask for the birth certificate. That always does it.

She was on the birther bus, until he handlers told her “psst, the middle doesn’t like that!” so she abandoned it, leaving the field wide open for Huckabee and Trump, who apparently are lower than Palin. Ouch.

It’s obvious that Sarah Palin’s slide toward eventual irrelevance is irreversible, no matter what she says or does. Now, Donald Trump is the GOP flavor of the month, but sooner or later he’ll wear thin since he also has absolutely nothing to offer. As narcissistic as both these folks are, I would not be surprised if either or both run for the GOP nomination. They are both empty barrels that make a lot of noise–but that seems to be a requisite to compete for the nomination in that party.

Hate? well, I could be said to strongly dislike badly- coooked okra, maggots, and Mogen David wine, but I neither obsess over them nor publish screeds about them. That is what Sarah Palin means to me. As for her slide in popularity (hereinafter called slopularity) I imagine all the mean old white males with little clipped gray mustaches who used to howl on the trail of her pantyliners got turned off by what she is beginning to look like from the front. Sic transit gloria mundi, tuesdi, wednesdi…
The provenance of Trig? As I passed the cheap papers in the grocery line, it hit me: Suppose he is neither Sarah’s, Bristol’s, nor Willow’s, but Todd’s? It unmuddles the timeline problem nicely, and explains perfectly why she would be dragging a sick baby around in all kinds of ways likely to make him die. Explains the tin can dents in Todds head, too. Just a thought.

Well, while I think “hate” is pretty strong, I DO loathe her.
With crookster and publicity-hound Trump having his fun with the teabaggers and TP hanger-on and serial liar Bachmann not doing that well, it’s pretty obvious that the ‘baggers were looking for another white male they could hang their teabags on, a guy like them that doesn’t really respect women, but just uses them. Isn’t that the Republican way, after all? Of course, the women must be attractive, narcissistic airheads themselves in the first place. What truly intelligent, thinking woman would have anything to do with such misogynists in the first place?

Just because her approval ratings are down does not mean that more people hate her. Someone can not approve of her by having no opinion. The closest thing to showing that more people hate her would be her disapproval ratings, and maybe only the “strongly disapprove” ratings. Even if these had gone up, which the article doesn’t tell us, hate is too strong a word.
Has she said or done anything outrageous recently? I can’t recall. Maybe they only like her when she’s spouting off her Palinisms.

Palin is not running because she knows she can’t win and is making good money. The fact that so many people “hate” her actually helps her be controversial and make more money. The hate is not hurting Palin in that regard.

Can’t believe I’m getting any wisdom from the Simpsons, but here it is: There was a Halloween episode several years ago where all the advertisements and mascots stood up and started reeking havoc on Springfield. To kill the monsters, you simply had to stop paying them any attention. I’ve said it from the beginning, wanna get rid of the wackos, stop paying them any attention. Palin’s going down because of that, Beckers just went down because no one paid him any attention anymore, just add all the other crazy neocons that need to go to that list and they’ll go the same way for the same reason.
