According to Victoria Jackson 20 kids murdered in a school shooting is just like abortion
Photo courtesy of: Shannon Hicks/The Newtown Bee
The shooting in Newtown Connecticut at Sandy Hook Elementary School has sent shock waves through out the United States and around the world. According to the New York Times 26 people are dead including 20 children. The shooter, according to the Times came in to a classroom and started shooting.
According to NBC News, when the shooting started, three employees left a meeting after hearing “pop” “pop” “pop” and of the three one returned explaining what happened. The witness said she heard 100 rounds going off.
Times also wrote:
The gunman, who was believed to be in his 20s, walked into a classroom where his mother was a teacher. He shot and killed her and then shot 18 students in the classroom. He also shot seven other adults. The gunman then killed himself inside the school.
The shooter killed his mother and 20 students.
Apparently, with 100 rounds going off, the shooter may have legally bought a larger clip to cause this shooting or had multiple clips. I am for gun control and a firearm owner. I own a Mosin Nagant, an old bolt-action WWII sniper rifle. I shoot targets and keep the rifle in a safe at a gun store. I have no access to it because I choose to not have access to my rifle and am considering selling my rifle.
But go to any conservative site, and read how they pray to the Sky-Spook and argue that if the children had firearms or worse, compare this heinous crime to abortion, like conservative Christian Victoria Jackson said in her Facebook post:

Comparing children to embryos is not only ludicrous, it shows the mind set of Pro Lifers. They STILL care more about the aborted than real live precious children. Every day women miscarry pregnancies they had yet to find out they were carrying, does her crazy theory extend to these naturally occurring abortions?

Anybody else at all troubled by the suggestion that more ‘dads’ of unwanted pregnancies would have sympathy if they killed their girlfriend/wife/ex? Or her doctor? Fanatics have found a home for their violent tendencies in the anti-abortion world, there have been real assassinations of abortion clinic doctors. Great way to reach out to families in anguish, Ms. Jackson.

These are the people who like to talk about “knife control” and how people kill with knives too. How many children would still be alive if this nutcase tried to do this with a knife? ALMOST ALL OF THEM. Compare two knives to two guns and 100 rounds. Yeah that’s what I thought… idiot assholes.

I sincerely hope this entire blog and comments are in jest. I cannot seriously believe you people don’t realize that embryos (when not killed by their own mothers) grow up to be children. How in the world can you not see this? Stupidity like yours truly boggles the mind. Comments like Victoria Jackson’s actually restore my faith in humanity. How can you be sad about 20 kids dying when you vote to have millions killed each year?

Millions of possible children? We do not vote to kill anyone. A clump of cells may or may not grow up to be a child but if it is in my uterus I decide whether or not to allow it to grow into a child. Not you insane pro lifers. You are still weeping for a sexual encounter gone awry and still cannot muster up any real feelings for what were very real children. You make me sick Amber.

And after the fetus gestate into a baby and is born, you have no issue when they end up as slab in the Coroner’s office? Is this where the Right to Life ends? That the Sky-Spook will take the 20 children to heaven and send the shooter to Hell? If that’s the case, then more children should be killed so the Cloud Being could sort the good from bad. Right? Or are you, like Victoria Jackson, compare abortion to the shooting, and if abortion must end, so should owning firearms? Sorry but your logic and rationale is screwy.

Gee. either firearms are more important than children or the right winged realize that the moran named Victoria Jackson wants to take away their firearms.
Tim From LA
Dec. 16th, 2012 at 3:33 pm
OK Amber, so since abortions and bullets kill and you want to ban abortions but not the OB/Gyn because, you as a woman (if you are) need an Ob/Gyn to make sure that if you have a baby, the baby would come out healthy. So with that logic, ban the firearm but not the dealer, because, like the tool of the doctor, there may be a use for the dealer and not the tool.
I guarantee you, your logic will make you a pariah in the right wing world. Ask any NRA member, if they had a choice between saving a fetus or saving their firearms, their firearms will come first.

Notice, however, that Ms. Jackson didn’t have the mental capacity to come up with a whole paragraph on her own. I’m glad Jim Riley is around to tell Victoria Jackson what she thinks. Otherwise she might huwt her wittle bwain. :(

I find it odd that all of these people who think that we “need” guns are the same people who think that god is in control of everything. If that’s the case, THEN WHAT DO YOU NEED AN AK47 FOR?
The difference between guns and anything else the gun-worshipers try to compare them to, knives, cars etc, is that guns are DESIGNED TO KILL. That is their purpose. A car or a knife or something like that has another purpose and has been misused.

Do you have a clue what you are talking about? Victoria equates mass murder of living people with abortion which is ridiculous since fetuses are not yet people. She is entitled to be anti-abortion, but she is NOT entitled to dismiss this murder as if aborion is worse. The Bible, which she would know if she’d bother to read it, equates the loss of a fetus as a monetary issue NOT a human one. So she’s a fail on this rant. Everyone here who is shocked and horrified at the slaughter of little kids – children who are known, loved, could feel, had hopes and dreams – KNOW that they are not the same as embryos. If you don’t, that’s your business – but don’t tell anyone here not to fight back against Jackson’s heartlessness. If she cared about these children, she would SAY so, and she doesn’t. It’s all politics. BTW – the real role model for the shooters in America? RW Faux Christians who blow away those with whom they disagree, especially pro-choice people, then CELEBRATE the deaths. So no, we are not the heartless ones. We are the caring ones who know reality and real compassion and concern. We don’t just pretend to care – we DO things for and about our nation’s children. You all don’t.

No, it’s not just the money. Gun control laws, or even the mere hint of a suggestion of consideration of gun restrictions (!) brings out a visceral reaction in an awful lot of people that has nothing whatsoever to do with money.
It’s all tied up with notions of freedom, independence, “the last resort,” notions of manhood, virility, or strength, a.k.a., a penis extension – all kinds of real and imagined psychiatric stuff tied up in it. Whatever IT is, IT is very very real, and has little to do with money.

From Wikipedia:
“Jackson was born in Miami, Florida the daughter of Marlene Esther and James McCaslin Jackson, a gym coach. Raised by devout Christian parents in a home without a television, she was trained in gymnastics by her father from ages 5 to 18. Jackson attended the private Dade Christian School, where she was a cheerleader and the Homecoming Queen. She subsequently attended Florida Bible College in Hollywood, Florida. Fourteen years of gymnastics competitions led to a scholarship at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. She also spent one year at Auburn University, before earning a degree in theater from Palm Beach Atlantic University.”
Supposedly, she has her own a TV show according to Wikipedia (2012??)…After reading her bio, one wonders how she and Sister Sara got as far as they did on so little talent and education?

Please… do NOT call Ms. Jackson a Christian. She forgot the whole “Compassion and love bit” and it turned into “Praise Jesus, Hallelujah, I can sin with impunity”. Understandable anger is shown here… but compounding it by lumping that woman in with Christians is not helping ANYONE.
Sweet babies died, plain and simple. Adults died trying to protect them.Asses said asshole things. And if I had a Phelps in front of me… Oh, God help me. But-it’s time to honor those lost. Monumental stupidity amok, or not.

How can a woman like Victoria “Jackass” Jackson be right about anything within a a political discourse let alone have VIP views on reality?
It is indeed a FACT that in 2010, she wrote an article for WND stating that she didn’t learn how to vote until the 2000 presidential election. She also has stated that she believes that she is being “spied on” for her political views (read her Facebook).
