There is no longer a liberal media. The mainstream media is now corporate media. Journalistic integrity has been exchanged for profit margins.
The racism and hatred that has become the centerpiece of the Republican Party is beyond disgusting.

A Walkaway, you are hitting the nail on the head. For most Americans the only image of the original inhabitants of the Western Hemisphere is one that has been poliferated by the Motion picture industry. Ragged bands of violent savages without culture or history. That’s also the image most history classes put forth.
The truth is there existed, before Columbus, a rich, complex multitude of nations, many that rose to an intellectual and technological level that equaled or surpassed European societies.
The Mormons looked at the native people as an obstruction to be exterminated. To be fair, many American non-mormons had the same mind set.
Had it not been for European diseases, the Europeans might have not have dominated the “New World”

You’re right Gary. Anyone with roots in the South get the messages immediately, and I’m not impugning the South, just stating facts. Romney’s message comes through loud and clear to African Americans who suffer racism, as well as those harboring generational racist beliefs. It’s unfortunate that the rest of the population misses overt race-baiting…or do they?

I can tell you from years with Klansmen, Rmuse is right on target, there are things I see when I get to watch them out on the debates and on the stump that I am familiar with seeing. And the old saying about you can’t unring a bell. When you visually see something on just miliseconds, your mind captures it, kind of like the study they did in the 50′s where they flashed commercials for coke and pizza etc. for like a tenth of a second, and sales went up like over 60%. Believe me when I say it is there, and I am no Aurora nutcase. ( and the eye can’t pick up the ads in that short of time frame miliseconds).

Willard R-Money is an un-Mitt-igated disaster, everywhere, in everything. He is beyond clueless. And I thought we had hit rock bottom with St. Ronnie of RayGun, and it seems that Republicans have only gotten slimier and less intelligent (NEVER thought that was possible) and more ideological, and IDOL-WORSHIPING than I ever could have imagined. Dumbya was even (marginally) smarter than this douchebag, not that THAT means much.
