Tim Russert was absolutely the best at what he did; he was the best anchor on Meet The Press since its conception. He prepared for his interviews as if he was training for a marathon. David Gregory is not and cannot live up to a man like Tim Russert.Perhaps no one can. But Gregory’s pandering to Republicans and attending a Republican fundraiser should be enough for him to be ousted like Keith Olberman was. The press has to be unbiased and apolitical in their reporting. For us to trust them we need real journalism, not junk journalism. I no longer watch Meet The Press and I never missed it when Tim Russert was in the chair. Tim Russert’s twentysomething son, Luke would be a better host than Gregory is. It is time NBC wakes up and takes notice of its rating drop.

Me too: Al Jazeera, BBC, Euronews, NHK. I really enjoyed the latter when they announced it was the season for burr fights. I waited for people to pelt each other with stickers. Instead, they led out these two bovine sumo wrestlers, and proceeded to let the gentlemen cattle try to push each other out of the ring. The burr that did it first, won…
