What in the world is going on at Newsweek? I’ve read and admired Newsweek all of my life. The recent “Hit the Road” article was particularly offensive – so much so that all those years of admiration have vanished. Has Newsweek also been a casualty of Citizen United unlimited corporate funding and power?
I used to count Newsweek as an important and reliable source of information. Now that they feel that is okay to attack half the population with their insulting coat hanger stunt, I will never buy, read or recommend that piece of trash rag.
When our local newpaper published photos of Americans dying on 9/11, I cancelled that paper as well. Every time someone calls to offer me a subscription, I tell them that I will never forgive them for the cover photo of people falling to their deaths and to never call me again.

To Newsweek Staff,
What in the world is going on at Newsweek? I’ve read and admired Newsweek all of my life. The recent “Hit the Road” article was particularly offensive – so much so that all those years of admiration have vanished. Has Newsweek also been a casualty of Citizen United unlimited corporate funding and power?
