The NRA Puts Pro Sports Teams In Its Crosshairs But Not the RNC
The NRA Institute for Legislative Action has a list on their website titled the “National Organizations With Anti-Gun Policies”, also known as an “enemies list”. They even include cartoonists, Olympic athletes and NFL players on their enemies list – that’s how ridiculous and paranoid the current NRA is.
The Royals, Chiefs and Rams are in the NRA’s crosshairs, too. Why, you ask? Did they make an ad preaching against the second amendment? Almost. They did the exact same thing the Republicans did at their convention — no concealed carry guns at games, please.
Yahoo sports reported:
So, what put the Royals, Chiefs and Rams in the NRA’s, uh, crosshairs? After a series of failures, the state of Missouri in 2003 passed a law that allows individuals to apply for a permit to carry a concealed weapon. The Royals, Chiefs and Rams — quite understandably — didn’t want to encourage fans to pack heat at ballgames.
The end result was, “And the K.C. sports teams got what they wanted; the law doesn’t apply to stadiums with a capacity over 5,000. You still can’t bring a gun to a Royals game, thank goodness. And those sneaky Cardinals and Blues get the same benefit without making the NRA’s bogeyman list.”
Yet, nowhere will you see the NRA taking aim at the Republican Party, who banned ALL guns at their convention for the very same reason. Heck, Republicans know their base so well, they wouldn’t even allow knives.
Republicans even banned toy guns from their 2012 convention. Seriously. These are very scared people. Has Obama come for Republicans’ toy guns yet?
The NRA may just be the craziest organization in the country.
The Republican convention took place before the NRA published their hit list on September 17, 2012, and yet the NRA is completely ignoring that the Republicans did exactly what the sports teams did. Sports teams who don’t want to die = evil enemies. Republicans who don’t want to die or even get squirted with water from a toy gun = heroes of the second amendment.
Based on the length of the NRA’s enemies list, it looks like the anti-crazy people might just have a chance in this country. Additionally, thanks to their enemies list, those of us who are against assault weapons in the hands of people who refuse to even submit to a background check know who to support. The enemy of my enemy is my friend indeed, especially when there are other substantial areas for common ground.

Remember when the nra was saying to stop a bad guy with a gun is with a good guy with a gun?
Well there goes that talking point
Not even a gun range had enough good guys with a gun to stop one bad guy with a gun

He was shot dead, and so was his companion.
He was being sued by former Governor Jesse Ventura, for having claimed, in a highly self-laudatory book, to have punched the latter in a bar for making an “unpatriotic” remark. About the companion far less is known, yet, I venture, such is the spirit of Mordor.

I have no sympathy for this alleged American hero, the sniper Kyle. What he did as a career was to shoot and kill approximately 150 people who were legitimately fighting the foreign invaders of their sovereign country; invaders who had different-colored skin, a different religion, and an unintelligible language. It is absolutely amazing to me how many Americans are unable to put themselves in other people’s shoes and see things from a perspective other than their own.

The NRA, and not ALL its members, are a threat to this nation. At this point it is safe to say they are close to being a hate group, domestic terror group, and enemy of sane people. Their rhetoric emboldens civil and revolutionary war advocates, and doing it all as American taxpayers subsidize their hate via the NRA’s non-profit 501(c) status.

At this point, I’d say they *have* come to qualify as a hate group, when survivors of firearms violence, relatives of the slain, and anyone who gave them protection or even was a witness is targeted with death threats. Given that the organization’s inner circle contains Grover Norquist and Oliver North, I’d say this group fits within a few other parameters, as well.

You’re absolutely right! More like “110%” right, or I should say “correct”. I haven’t seen this quarter’s “Intelligence Report” magazine from the SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center). They are probably the best group these days when it comes to exposing and stopping (via legal measures)the many, may hate groups in our “peace-loving”, heavily armed country! I wouldn’t be surprised if, in the next issue of their publication, the NRA *isn’t* named as a “hate group”. What really makes me angry is that they are a “non-profit organizaton”, just like the Red Cross, the ASPCA, or a college/university!
These people are totally scary, and I believe they are stirring up a hornet’s nest of parnoid loonies who are now, more than ever before, *hoarding* God-knows-what-type and how many weapons and/or how much ammo! Again, you’re spot on! The NRA is a “Domestic Terrorist Group” and should be treated as such!

This list is as wonderful a thing as you could get. A puppy for xmass or a marshmallow duck for easter couldnt be better.
What better then to show the NRA members that their organization doesnt support their interests? What better to say Hey Royals fans, you suck!
The NRA. Taking its life lessons from the GOP

Request; that the “Appropriate” Govt. Agency’s Investigate the NRA (New Republican Army; in my opinion) and their Uniformed (White Sheet wearing; in my opinion) Leaders and Members who may be a “Threat” to this country and its citizens. Shine a “Spot Light” on this group and see what the “Truth” is; so that We The People can Judge their Motives and Crimes (should any be discovered) in a court of Law.

The NRA is being run by a gang of hypocrits much like all politicians, including even our fearless leader President Obama.
They are all concerned more with how history will view them than they are with the safety of the American people.
The NRA is on the wrong side of universal background checks and closing the gun show/private seller loophole.
President Obama talks a good game of protecting the American people but yet in the aftermath of the 2008 financial collapse he has allowed banks and other financial institutions to become even bigger and they are now too bigger to fail. He has steadfastly refused to prosecute the chiefs of big banks and other obvious financial law breakers.

These shenanigans will never end. The tea party republican clowns who came in congress with the 2010 election saying they would clean things up became corrupted the very day they took their oaths of office.
As for President Obama, he is a lawyer and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago. While teaching he learned all about hiding his hypocrisy when he served as a Illinois state senator from 1997 to 2004.

Think of it This Way; President Obama is “Dealing” not Only with the “Problems”of the World; He is also Dealing with a Pit-Full of Vipers Here at Home; the GOP. And since He Wants to Achieve as much as He “Possibly” can for the “American-People” without getting “Bitten” by one of these Snakes; He is Just “Walking-Lightly and Carrying a Big Stick”. His Risk of being Bitten By One of These Snakes is Increased “10 Fold” Because they are “Prejudiced” Against Him (In my opinion). He is doing an Outstanding Job (Under the Circumstances) I would say.

A small “detail” that I believe is incorrect: President Obama taught Constitutional Law at Harvard, not the U. of Chicago. (The latter is a bastion of conservative thought.)The Obamas live(d) in Chicago, but I don’t think either the president or first lady attended Chicago law.

I noticed that there are sine “enemies” on the lust who are deceased, like Norah Ephron, and I couldn’t help but wonder whether the NRA plans to pursue its’ deceased “enemies” beyond the grave. If they do, it should be a very interesting pursuit!

Lets all “Hope” that Our Govt.”Drones” and Spy-Tactics are being “utilized” against these people to Determine their “True-Threat” to “Our” Country (If Any); And Respond as Necessary; Before Someone Gets “Hurt”. In my opinion.
