Obama Hate Hits a New Low: Qur’an Burner Terry Jones Digs Obama’s Grave
By: Jason EasleyJul. 14th, 2012more from Jason Easley
Qur’an burning, Obama effigy lynching pastor Terry Jones has now dug a grave and with a headstone proclaimed the Obama presidency dead.
Here is the video:
Transcript via Loonwatch and me:
The Obama experiment has failed. Obama promised to bring the troops home. He did not. He promised to close Guantanamo Bay. He did not. He promised to reduce the deficit by fifty percent. He did not. He is pro-same sex marriage. He is pro-abortion. The killing of babies. He has closed his eyes to the problem we have in America with illegals. He has closed his eyes to the problem that we have in America with illegals. Twenty million illegals,” Jones said. “The illegals and the Hispanics make up the largest prison population — they are only outnumbered by the blacks. They greatly exceed all other races. We must put an end to President Obama’s political career.
The experiment did not work. Let us learn to never again vote for some based on the color of his skin, but upon his qualifications. Let us this year put a deadening blow, a death to Obama’s presidency.
This is what happens when you mix together Fox News, talk radio, and mental illness in one human mind. Terry Jones literally sounds like he is quoting Fox News, but what really gives him that pungent auroa of right wing propaganda is the fact that the major point he used to proclaim the Obama presidency a failure was wrong. Obama did bring the troops home from Iraq and has a timetable for getting out of Afghanistan. Obama did sign an Executive Order closing GITMO, only to see Congress block the funding needed to close the facility and transport the detainees. Obama did say that he would lower the deficit by 50%, which hasn’t happened, but it is Jones’s rant about immigration that is completely 100% wrong.
Illegal immigration is shrinking. There are only 11.1 million illegal immigrants living in the United States, and President Obama has deported 30% more illegal immigrants that George W. Bush averaged over his two terms in office.
Notice the image that Jones was trying to sell. The tombstone features the words Obama and dead in big letters, with the word presidency written in little tiny white letter below Obama. The message he is sending is kill Obama. Obama must die. His little addition of the word presidency is just his way of making sure that Secret Service doesn’t pop by and pay him another visit.
Terry Jones isn’t the best barometer of changes in right wing insanity because he is this crazy all of the time, but if this is the rhetoric they are pushing in July, imagine what is coming in November.
Jones is the classic right wing coward. He talked a big game on the video, but if he really wanted to get publicity for his latest stunt, he probably should have taken the word presidency off of the tombstone. Terry Jones wussied out and did have the guts to say what he really meant.
Apparently, Jones is even more afraid of prison than he is of black presidents and Muslims.

Please do not continue to treat anything this fool does as news. You are only buying into his craving for attention. He gets enough of that here with his crazies on the streets of Gainesville. Giving him a forum is only adding fuel to the fire.

See the comment I left below. You don’t deal with a poisonous snake in your house by ignoring it (not paying attention to it)… you deal with it or at the least make sure everything and everyone knows exactly where and what it is.
A snake is more predictable and infinitely less dangerous than a dominionist leader. At least snakes only strike to eat or in self-defense.

Something to think about… Jones isn’t as small potatoes as he’s portrayed to be. I’m pretty sure he’s pretty highly placed in the New Apostolic Reformation, which is the worst of the worst among dominionists. He doesn’t sound that much different than Todd Bentley, who was very highly placed in that group.
I’m just glad he’s still up in the Gainesville area… there were reports he was planning on moving down into this area!
There are a lot of people who talk like him. So much so that I think the news about him reflects on an especially ugly and bigoted segment of the population (which generally gets ignored).

Is he getting a visit from the Secret Service? How can this be taken as anything other than a threat to the President’s life?
These people are crazy but when Pres. Obama wins reelection in November, they’re going to take their craziness to a whole new level.

Religion is sickening enough without racist bigots, this guy needs to FOAD. why are we even paying attention to him, publicity only feeds the fire.

Because if we don’t pay attention to jackasses like him, we might find followers with submachine guns on our doorsteps, with orders to convert us or kill us.
Yes, they’re that dangerous. Remember “Jesus Camp”. Well, we’ve known for a few years now that they also have “Jesus Camp with guns”.
People also wouldn’t know that these types are pretty common these days, and how sneaky and underhanded they are.

I have the feeling these aren’t spontaneous eruptions, though they’re made to look so. I suspect that the likes of Terror Jones are used as trial Zeppelins that drop their little bombs of prime powder just to test how flammable everything below is. If someone actually does take a shot at the President, those behind this can just whistle, hold their hands behind their backs, and say, “Oh, nothing.” And, “Reverend Jones- nobody listens to that nut, anyway. It’s a coincidence”. You know- kind of like Rep. Giffords and those who died around her.

The scary part is WHAT IF OBAMA WINS???? These reactionary Calvinists with their guns may start another Civil War. I don’t agree with everything Obama has done, but these people want violence and bloodshed over political disagreements that can be handled with compromise and civility.
I KNOW…Burr shot Hamilton, and we had a Civil War.

Im not sure but I think he meant AND (also) we had a civil war

Actually, Burr was tried for, and acquitted of secessionist treason; it appears to have been his intent, rather, to carve out an independent nation for himself in the Louisiana Territory, then not within our jurisdiction. His ideas were almost diametrically opposed to both Civil War secessionists and modern ones, but maybe they got ideas.

Calm down…yes, a few of them will go out in the streets and run up and down with guns until Sheriff “Andy” goes and talks them down…while the FBI stands by with warrents and arrest them on all kinds of criminal charges that we won’t hear about so that their “cuzzin’s” don’t get more agitated at the guv’urn’mint…once a bunch of them are rounded up, they all talk and point fingers. That’s how they role. Law enforcement knows this…they are very predictable.
The crazy ones are put away for a long time and the ones the judge lets off sit on their porch telling whoppers and waving their bible around toothless…these people have been around in our history for a long time.
Only now, they are more mobilized, so they think, than the people with brains who know who they are and what they are…as Walkaway said, everybody needs to see and know what the snake looks like and make sure you know how to smash it if it threatens you…these bible-thumpers may be crazy and probably mentally ill for the most part, but they are predictable, sort of like the Borg…they’ll run and hide on the first siren.

I’m more worried about the (fire)bomb in the night, bullets through the window or the house being shot up, that sort of thing (which they are known to do).
I also worry about our kitties, although we’ve now got it so they can’t leave our property. It still wouldn’t take much to hurt them.
Those are the actions of cowards, but that’s the sort of things they’ve done already.
Oh… and a lot of them are in law enforcement as well as the military. We need to always keep that in mind.

I know the two events were not related.
I was describing the nature of American politics when things go over the cliff.
A Walkaway
Jul. 15th, 2012 at 10:14 am
I’m not sure what you mean by the events are not related, but if Obama wins, it is almost certain that there will be an attempt at armed insurrection. You listen to the rhetoric and that’s where it’s leading.
What I hope (and pray) happens is that Romney wins the Republican nomination, and then it comes out just how crooked and dishonest he is… and he’s put in jail for lying. Then the news services would need to tell the truth about it instead of trying to make it a “political move” or some sort of lie like that. If that happened, I think people would get a cold dash of water in their faces so to speak… and maybe the militants would back down, especially when they realize just how much they’d been mislead.
I used to hang out with people that I expect to see leading the way, back in the 80s and 90s. I think we came close after 2008 (it was scary just leaving our home, with all of the hateful comments directed at our president and the talk was seriously rebellious) and a second win by someone they already hate might just be too much for them (unless like I said, something woke them up to the lies they’ve been buying).

If you check in on how, three or four decades back, Scientologists were infiltrating, that’s what you’d see now. Only (a) there are more of them; (b) but it’s JUST A CHURCH!

I can’t understand why Jones has such hatred for PBO, and why he’s not angry at the republicans who caused the majority of our country’s problems. I hate to think his hatred is related to the president’s race, but I’m beginning to think it might be. IIRC, Jones was kicked out of Germany for abusing his parishioners, demanding they maintain his lifestyle by having them work in his gift shop for slave wages, and for pitting family members against each other. He became obsessed with the growing Muslim population in Cologne and had his parishioners believing that they would be attacked by Muslims. This never happened, but it didn’t stop Terry Jones. He offered to help LGBTQ persons “pray away the gay.” The board of the Christian Community in Cologne dismissed him in 2008, so he had to get out of Dodge. It’s too bad he decided to return to the U.S., and it’s too bad that we can’t kick him out of the country. He’s one I wouldn’t mind hearing had decided to renounce his U.S. citizenship.

Jones is typical NAR dominionist… in fact, compared to a couple of people I used to know, he’s rather mild.
He just catches the attention of the news services for some reason.
You look at him, and you peer through a tiny window into the world in which dominionists live. It’s not pretty.

Get REAL! Can anyone say that Jones is LYING about the comments being made about the illegal alien in the White House? n
It is DISGUSTING to view comments that essentially DENY everything that Jones says about the “evil cult” and the White House MISCREANT.
WAKE UP NOW AND BEGIN TO PROVE ONE WAY OR ANOTHER IF ALL THAT HE SAYS IS FALSE.

Yes, This crazy bastard is completely wrong. Obama promised to end the Iraq war….He did. He never promised to end the Afganistan war. He has achieved a net 0 level of illegal immigration ….as many are leaving as are coming in….it is NOT a growing number. Every citizen of this country has the right to free speech, But I have to wonder who the ignorant people are who would sit and listen to this lying fool more than 1 time……He is definately an enemy of God, that is for sure.
