Obama’s Critics Misread President Obama and Fail to Understand Debate Strategy
One of the privileges of being a spectator in a sporting event is criticizing athletes for making the wrong play, and it never fails that the most vocal critic likely never donned a uniform or actually played in a professional level game. What spectators often fail to acknowledge is that during the heat of a contest, an athlete may see something, or know something, that an observer cannot imagine because they are removed from the action and have little understanding of the game’s intricacies. The same thing happens in political debates and after examining volumes of criticism and interpretation of the first presidential debate in Denver, it is obvious that the critics misread President Obama and that they fail to understand debate strategy.
It is curious that any observer was surprised that pathological liar Willard Romney came to the debate armed with a mountain of lies. One has to wonder if any spectator expected Willard to stand on that stage and tell the American people he intended to slash education, give $5 trillion in tax cuts to the wealthy, reduce the number of police and fire fighters, or admit that he has contempt for 47% of the population, and yet the blogosphere was rife with articles recounting the number of lies and flip-flops Romney is best known for. It was also somewhat surprising to see critics assailing President Obama for not calling out each of Romney’s lies, and if they looked at the bigger picture, or understood the nuances of debate, they may have couched their criticism and gave the President the credit he deserves, and he does deserve credit for not succumbing to Romney’s tactics.
Of course Willard lied, it is what pathological liars do, and as a master liar, Romney distinguished himself as the best. He took his lying seriously too, even resurrecting a Sarah Palin lie that won distinction as “Lie of the Year” in 2009 regarding the dreaded “death panels.” Romney has not come up with any novel ideas throughout the campaign, but up until Wednesday night he primarily parroted Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush rhetoric in hopes of appealing to conservatives stuck in the 1980s and early 21st century. However, when he complained that the Affordable Care Act contained a provision to ration healthcare, he put himself on the same level as Palin.
It was not the first time the Romney-Ryan tandem entertained the notion that a group of appointees would decide if grandma was worthy of healthcare or lifesaving medical attention, because last week in Florida Paul Ryan took the opportunity to expound on Palin’s death panel sophistry. For the record, the Independent Payment Advisory Board, a panel of Senate-confirmed experts, are explicitly prohibited from rationing care, shifting costs to retirees, restricting benefits, or raising the Medicare eligibility age, so obviously they do not have power to dictate to doctors what treatments they can prescribe. However, Willard did not mention the truth about the panels and the President did not waste valuable time debunking 2009′s lie of the year again, and it leads to why President Obama did not squander his time discrediting each and every Romney lie.
There is a tactic in debating called “spreading” that involves throwing as many unproven assertions as possible at an opponent in hopes they waste time refuting lies instead of expounding their message. If the President had spent his limited time refuting every lie Romney told in Wednesday’s debate, he could not have shared his vision for America’s future or how he intended to fight for Americans who are not in Willard’s wealthy elite class. What Americans were treated to, was a President with a clear vision and message, replete with specifics, that the people have come to expect from Barack Obama. Romney’s tactic was popularized by a creationist maniac, Duane Tolbert Gish, who without facts or valid arguments to back up his creation myth ideology, drowned his opponents in lies, half-truths, and straw-man arguments in rapid bursts they could not answer in real time. Romney utilized the tactic well, but he failed to take one simple fact into account. His lies on Wednesday night do not square with his campaign rhetoric and he came off looking more transient on the issues than ever, and it is a misstep he has made throughout his run for the White House.
Romney and, indeed, all Republicans fail to understand that in the information age of instant reporting and video tape, every statement a candidate makes is easily verified or, in Romney’s case, debunked within minutes of uttering a contrary position or outright lie. On Wednesday night, Romney not only lied as pathological liars are wont to do, but he contradicted his own position and statements he made just a day earlier and that is the peril for pathological liars; they lie with such ease that they lose touch with reality and forget the lies they told just a minute earlier, and one has to wonder if President Obama knew Romney was digging himself into a pit of mendacity with no way out.
There have been few critics who noted the President’s steady resolve in dealing with Romney’s lies, or that he was able to wade through Willard-excrement and still get his message across to the American people. It is true that a spectator’s first inclination may have been to second-guess President Obama’s handling a pathological liar, but it is tantamount to questioning the logic of not preaching sobriety to a raging alcoholic during a drunken stupor, and it is another example of why President Obama is much more intelligent than the average pundit. If there is one thing Americans should have learned by now about the President, is that he looks at the big picture and does not do knee-jerk reactions that an undisciplined teenager is apt to do. President Obama is no undisciplined teenager.
On CNN throughout the debate, they put up a graph that showed how each participant was faring in real time according to their panel of white Southerners, and it showed President Obama lagging below the midline right up to the closing statements. However, after he gave his closing remarks, and unnoticed by most spectators, the line quickly moved back to the center line and it just shows that the President was successful getting his message across despite suffering ninety minutes of mendacity from America’s biggest liar. It should be but another reminder that this President’s foresight, discipline, and resolve are qualities Americans expect in a President, and after 9 months of Romney’s Palinesque lies, the people want an honest leader with a consistent vision for the future, and despite the pundits, armchair debaters, and reactionary critics, President Obama successfully reiterated what he first said almost 4 years ago; as President he will work for all Americans and according to his most recent approval ratings, people believe him.

Agree with you. I voted for him because he is a calm, cool and collected and isn’t likely to push the button of war without really thinking about it. When you have soldiers lives on the line it makes you stop and think. While Romney wants to take out Iran without thinking anything about it. Well send his 5 sons first before I’d send my only one off to war.

I couldn’t agree more, because that chucklehead won’t watch his loved ones die if he sends out troops into war. In his eyes, only the members of the 47% are stupid enough to join the military, so why should he care about their deaths when he never cared about their lives?

exactly I agree 100%….a president avoids wars…because he thinks of the families kids and spouses and instead of sending people to expose their lives…a president tries to calm things down…thats being smart and brave…a real leader..NOT trigger happy.

Americans are still stuck in the competitive sports mode. Most only see the immediate score board, not the long term strategies. They are not very good at sophisticated facial and body language.
The President tried to give Mr.Lehrer the respect due a moderator, as Mr. Romney rode rough shod over him in his lust to sell timeshares to America.
I applaud his restraint in not slapping the smirk off Romboy’s face.
Instead, he stood back and let the snake oil salesman shine on.

Thank you. This is what I said. What good would it do to call Romney on his lies when he would just lie about his lies. Let him lie and let the people see what a liar he is. Obama didn’t need to stoop to Romney’s level. Romney has no plan and no core values.

Romney believes in the right to lie in the service of his own interests. He is MANDATED to lie. When he seems to be flip-flopping, he’s not. He is lying because it is his theocratic & religious duty. Fact-check it. Google and Wikipedia keywords: Lying for the Lord.
Ann Romney worried about his mental health. She should be. His lying is pathological, “Do whatever it takes.”
Very scarey for our country if he wins.

Excellent Article! I could see President Obama’s Thoughtfulness throughout the debate.
Rmoney was spouting his lies at such a rate, that it was easy to believe he may have been on something. I for one was very upset at his “BULLYING” tactics.
By talking down to the President it just showed how arrogant the man really is.

Thanks for your excellent post Rmuse. Gotta admit, I was disappointed initially with the President’s lack of responses. That was just a reflection of my personal wish to have been able to plant a facer in the middle of that lying, arrogant creep’s nose. Thank heavens the President has a lot more self-control than I do. LOL!
But you’re entirely correct with everything you said in assessing the President’s long range strategy & I applaud you AND the President for it.
It was reported that the biggest critics of the President’s performance were his most loyal fans. We undoubtedly share our protective instincts & deep disgust for all things Romney. Next debate Obama needs to do this. When Romney is going manic with all his lies, Obama can look at him, slightly shake is head back and forth, like “I can’t believe what I am hearing” kind of shake and then give a small cough, say excuse me, take a sip of water and then say ” sorry there was so much b.s. being thrown around by my opponent that I am starting to choke on it.” Or something similar. I bet Romney would go apesh*t.

Lenin used to say that the socialists would make the rope that the capitalists would use to hang themselves. This was obviously President Obama’s strategy in the first debate. In the foreign policy debates the president will need to be more assertive since the republicans think they can label the president as weak. I’m sure Romney will try to walk back and flip-flop his position on his $2 trillion defense build up which is complete nonsense. It will just start another arms race and will for sure lead to instability in the middle east as nations there will go nuclear to counter US hegemony. And that is ultimately what Romney really is. A hegemonist who would use US military power to take over resources of small weak resource rich nations.
The US military industrial complex needs to study through its reliance on nuclear weapons. The Bush doctrine was that nukes could be a first strike weapon to attack nations harboring terrorists. What nonsense. We need to move away from that thinking and reduce nuke numbers further as a deterrent to Iran. Reducing nuke numbers will show Iran that they are wasting their time building nukes. We only need to maintain a small nuclear arsenal to deter countries like Iran and maintain the non proliferation protocol.

Facts, not diction.
Romney’s strategy was all about being loud and shaking keys in the faces of people who don’t have the time or energy to check out how true the candidates’ positions are. In contrast, Obama merely stated the facts, and didn’t stoop to Romney’s level. For this, both sides of the aisle say that the Republicans won this round, all because one guy was manic compared to the sedate pacing of the other.
We saw this pattern with both Conventions- in the age of the interwebs, truth can be divined immediately. Previous statements are available real-time to compare with today’s statements.
It’s interesting to see the abrupt sea-changes in opinion from the pundits who worried/gloated that Obama didn’t carry himself strongly enough now realize he had a strategy in mind: let Romney give himself enough rope to hang himself.

I was shocked at all the criticism about the President. I watched with my husband and mother in law and we all agreed that Romney was out of control and lying so much we were stunned. Then Chris Matthews comes on and attacks the President and we all were baffled because we didn’t think the President was bad. He was calm and reasoned and it seemed Romney was spinning so fast I thought he was on speed. I couldn’t help think that the President gave Romney enough rope to hang himself with. And the disrespect he showed Lehrer was rude. I guess in republican world it’s ok to be rude and lie but in the real world I would call them a jerk. President Obama was one Kool Kat.

How presidential would it have been for Obama to call Romney a liar all night. We all knew he was lying and thats what his camp wanted for Obama to do. He handled it with grace and diplomacy. After all you can’t call diplomats liars when dealing with them and expect to negotiate a good deal. The republicans are so stupid, rather than befriend and learn from this man they will fight to the death b/c of his color. How sad! How can real Americans trust the republicans anymore after what they have been doing all across this country. Trying to steal away the rights of the poor, the black, the sick, the old,the young, the immigrant, the women, the law,the air,the land and how many other things to many to list. We have a president that cares about us and will fight for us, if we fight for him.

Excellent analysis and comments, too. I’ve facebooked it and will again, during the day. One thing, I can’t understand pundits who, like Joe Scarborough, kept saying what a great man Romney is, while totally ignoring his lying, his bullying behavior, and his just flat out rudeness to the moderator. The contrast with POTUS’ calm demeanor was like a toddler having a temper tantrum, and the parent calmly ignoring the drama. You don’t get into a discussion with the toddler, he isn’t capable of thinking.

Fast talkers are almost ALWAYS slicksters who will sell you snake oil after making you think it’s liquid gold. AND they are usually the biggest LIARS on the planet. Obama has the best strategists money can buy, granted his strategy is very clever and intelligent when dealing with a sociopath such as Shmuckney, so kudos to Obama…But realistically their views don’t vary much nor do their donors,so it’s kinda like watching someone debating them-self in the mirror, weird and boring…BORING…Both these candidates are bad for America and some new views and other parties taking part in these debates would be great and refreshing but if people like these staged two party race horses called presidential elections I guess we’ll see more of the same come election day…..

This all may be true, and it sure makes me feel better about a rather lackluster performance, but the average American voter won’t get it, and we NEED those voters. Obama has secured most of his base. Now he needs to secure those middle of the road folks, and they are just not going to get such a sophisticated debate strategy… He needs to speak to them, plain & simple. It doesn’t matter how many lies Mitt told, he out performed the president and therefore came across as more believable to most people. The shift in the polls this week say a lot.

I agree on principle, but the fact is that Obama stood there and allowed Mittens to lie to him for 38 straight minutes. That in itself has a negative effect. He looked weak. No-one wants to see someone get slapped in the face and not respond. They lose respect for them, even if they know they are in the right. Obama responded only 3 times to the lies. He should have started much earlier, using the formula, “That is not what you said before” when he lied about his record or “Well, you know that isn’t true” when Romney lied about Obama’s record. Hopefully something better than that along the lines of “There you go again”. You cannot win a debate in American politics by relying on truth and the common sense of the average voter. You have to help them along.
Obama’s biggest mistake is relying on people who have been close to him for 4 years on this. They CANNOT be objective. He needs an outsider–a complete outsider–to come in and SLAP HIM UPSIDE THE HEAD. This election is too damned important for complacency.

There may be a reason as the writer alleges not to have refuted Every Rmoney lie, but there exists NO EXCUSE for not debunking, in the moment, the preposterous absurdity of Rmony’s statement that he has no intention to cut taxes !!!
All Obama had to do is to ridicule that Atom Bomb of a lie, and force Rmoney to deal with his ludicrous bullshit in public, in real time !
And despite the tortured premise of this essay that Obama somehow showed genius in allowing lie after lie to be launched without a peep, THERE IS STILL NO EXCUSE FOR OBAMA NOT TO HAVE RIDUCULED AND SHOT DOWN THE ABSURD CONTENTION OF RMONEY THAT SUDDENLY HE HAS NO INTENTION TO CUT TAXES !
Staring into the air as Rmoney sprayed that crap around to 60,000,000 viewers was a breach of responsibility and political know how for which there is NO EXCUSE !
And straining to excuse it is farcical and will do not good for anybody !

Which do you believe is more important: “winning” the debate or winning the election? The president got his message out and has increased his favorables. Mitt Romney “won” the debate but that is only a perception that will not win the election. The same pundits said McCain beat Obama in the 2008 debates, but McCain did not win the election.
It only becomes a loss for the president if YOU went into the debate expecting him to extract blood from Romney for the sins of the Republicans for the past four years.

Good observations and speculation about how President Obama handled the situation. Obama supporters want a rousing defense of past policies and future initiatives, but this is a debate, not a convention.
I still believe hanging back was part of Obama’s strategy from the beginning. His perceived loss was because he did not speak like it was stump speech; he did meet fulfill the preconceived notions of media or supporters.
Obama is far to competitive, note the way he plays basketball, to just let his opponent make accusations without rebuttal unless it was part of a larger strategy. Romney talked and out came a big bird.
Obama knows he has 2 more at bats and the last impression will be the most important going into the election.
You may not like this next comment, but I believe it is buried in the calculus of southern strategy: An aggressive black man is looked upon with suspicion. He is only allowed to defend himself after being attacked. Did Romney attack Obama enough to give the green light in the next debate? I’m not sure.
We also don’t know what the Commander in Chief was dealing with before he stepped on stage. Turkey is trying to provoke a war with Syria to end the flow of refugees. If Turkey is attacked, NATO allies, aka USA, must come to their defense. It is possible that Obama is trying to prevent WW III and a debate with Mittens is more of a distraction than a priority.

What he should have done was thank Romney for changing his mind and dropping his plans to end the inheritance tax and a 20% tax cut that only the rich would benefit from because the middle class would lose their home mortgage deduction because those were very poor ideas with the deficit what it is. That would have put Romney back on the defensive, to explain whether he was really changing his position or not, as well as taken time away from Romney’s efforts at slinging mud. Mr. Obama is normally calm and collected, but not really last night.

Another facet of Romney’s roughsod riding style of debating is that many, if not most, all women have worked for bosses who behave this way. The ones who won’t let you get a word in edgewise, are intimidating in their aggressiveness, and come to a meeting with their mind made up and a memorized script that they cannot stray from. I am sure there are men out here too who have been bullied in this manner. It’s a ‘truth be damned’ approach.
I worked for a small college and was one of the writers there. The president of this small college was well known for his bully tactics. He came into meetings with his answer to all questions and his decisions already made… and he prided himself on how he could “lead” a room to his decisions.
I sat in one of his meetings and he read aloud a proposed letter to donors. After reading it, he asked for feedback. I commented that I thought that one of the lines in the letter was too narrow for our readership. The man, built like an overweight linebacker, fairly flew across the table at me in such an aggressive manner; telling me that he had read no such sentence. There were twenty people, mostly women, in the room, and not one of them spoke up and confirmed that he had read exactly what I had said. When I physically drew back from his aggression, I sat there stock still as he went on and on and on about not saying such a thing… even though he read it aloud to all of us.
People said about the debates that Romney ‘schooled’ Obama and that he had Obama looking down and appearing to be ‘cowed’ by Romney. Romney used that very tactic, i.e. looking the president square in the face instead of speaking to the audience. Obama, had he looked anywhere but down, would have invited the chorus who regularly call him uppity. Romney knew this using it to his advantage.
The sports analogy is a good one. Facebook is rife with sports metaphors describing the debate. Well, I for one don’t want a hothead anymore than I wanted a…

I fully support the President, but the article is just nonsense. The campaign knows that it was their own debate strategy that failed. The President could have briefly challenged him and spent the rest of the time linking the point to his position and talking to the people. Trust me, I would love to say that the President performed exceptionally. But we are simply deluding ourselves to think that the poor performance was his strategy. He’ll do better next time. Actually, Willard has painted himself into a corner he will not be able to get out of. He is now on record as having made a 180-degree turn from what he’s been touting for months, and now ads are coming out that highlight his lack of an ethical core. We now know that his willingness to lie in front of millions of Americans on national TV, along with his rudeness, are integral aspects of his character. I tend to believe that the president set him up, and that this will become apparent in subsequent debates. He now knows that he is not dealing with someone who will consistently state his policies but with someone who will go which way the wind blows, in this case trying to tack to the center in order to win more votes when he’s been playing to his base for months.

So they are unaware of the lies that Romney told and were left with the perception that Romney is masterful and in control of facts. I hope the president finds a way to counter Romney’s lies at the next debate and defend his record.

I normally don’t comment on things like this, but to an extent i agree that the president should have been more agressive. what a lot of people don’t realize or don’t understand is that this is just the first of three debates. when you take that into account and add all of the lies that were spoken on stage and that the president just let them go, you have to wonder about a strategy. there is a split picture going around the internet of both individuals from the debate, and that picture says a lot. i watched the debate and noticed something unusual, president obama had three expressions; amazement, anger, and a really wierd smirk. romney had one, a big grin.ya really have to wonder what is gonna be said in the next debate.

THANK YOU is all i can say, for this article.
sometimes it is necessary to be quiet and wait for a storm to subside. unfortunately the moderator that evening, also not expecting the tirade, was stunned and ineffective.
the president always has shown himself the type to bide his time and not roll around in the dirt. i am glad he took the high road.
on the world stage, i would much prefer president obama, and that is why i am supporting him, even though i live in a u.s. territory and cannot give him my vote.
i give him my confidence in his plan for america, of which i am a part.
#forward ever.

I agree. However, to think that this strategy will give him another four years is to mistakenly believe that the majority of voters are interested in content & substance rather than voting for someone because of their appearance. A lesson that has been painfully obvious in our elections for decades & is a big part of why we are in such a mess.

You are my new favorite blogger! I have been saying this since the night of the debate and have become brain-fried by the behavior of the pundits and casual observers on the left. After four years, you think people will have learned that this president is not like other presidents, or other people for that matter. He is a brilliant man who is very obviously always thinking 10 steps ahead. I’ve accepted that he knows more than me, both situationally and in general. I’ve learned to trust him and it kills me that others on our side have not.

@Curtis, I agree with you about Obama is clueless without his teleprompter. He’s had a free ride for the last 4 yrs. Do you people really want another 4 yrs of this crap!! The next day after the debate Obama is a disgrace to himself to stand there and call Romney a liar. This article from Mr.Rmuse is a bunch of BS!!! Why don’t you people factcheck Obama before you open your mouth. And why don’t you search and read Dr.Sam Vaknin what he has about Obama, read this before you open your mouth again!!

Oh, please…can’t people stop it with the teleprompter.
I know, I know, the Righties’ dear Sarah Palin started this lie about Obama using the teleprompter. We can thank the dimwitt for that one. NOT.
There is a reason Pres. Obama uses a teleprompter….Why? Because he is damn good at it. Why? Because professionals use a teleprompter so they won’t get off message.
Can anyone name one other politician who is as excellent using a teleprompter as Pres. O?
Take for instance G. W. Bush. When he used his teleprompter… he looked quite goofy.

I did not watch the debate. I have been disheartened by all of the negative comments about Pres. Obama, around the internet. Now my faith has been renewed, by grasping a better understanding from what you’ve said. Thank you.

As I complained about how frustrating it was to watch Romney lie his way through the debate unchallenged, I suddenly remembered complaining about Palin’s lies going unchecked during the previous election. Obama’s a smart guy who follows his own disciplined strategy, and I can’t argue with the results. Even so, I would have at least liked a statement from him after Romney’s first whopper indicating he wasn’t going to waste his time rebutting disputed positions and giving the audience a web site where Romney’s lies could at least be listed. Undecided voters are often uninformed voters who have no way of knowing when a candidate lies — he needs to tell them.

When for generations your race has been led to believe that you are essentionally less than everyone else..its almost inbred into you… when, how and what to do.. to keep a step ahead or to keep in clear view of what you are dealing with…I know a lot of folks know and understand what i mean. I would not under estimate Obama and his camp. Nobody likes an angry man (especially if you are black) it leaves too many people to feel that you need to be more grateful and appreciative..than arrogent and angry. Some ( a lot) of politicians have forgotten or maybe never knew..that you will be held responsible for every word that comes from your mouth…by somebody ! A man who displays a great characteristic of knowing how to truly listen…shows a greater ability to make a difference in everything he does.

I watched the entire debate, and I felt exactly as you do. I think the president figured that Romney was making an ass out of himself up to that point so why not let him go and see what else comes out of his mouth. It could only help Obama and he knew it. He is much smarter than Romney and to me it was made obvious. He didn’t lower himself, he just watched and then said what he knew had to be said. The right way to handle an “Idiot” is to ignore him not fight with him. They don’t make sense so you can’t win. How anyone can say that Romney won after lying as he did is beyond me. Great Article.

In the first place you people do not give Obama credit for his intelligence,he has a very high IQ he would put most of us to shame and also he is smart enough to give Romney enough rope to hang himself at the next debate between him and Romney . He has a strategy allright , he is so cool and kept it during the time he could have turned on Romney but he is waiting for the right opp. Wait for the next debate and see what he does!!ortunity,

It is not that the Radical Liberals who follow Obama blindly do not want to do good, they just do not know mathematics and not attached to reality.

I am pleased to see someone who saw what I saw. I couldn’t believe the pundits who thought that Romney won the debate. His smirky smile that was shown every time he looked over at the President was disgusting. The President talked facts; Romney talked conflicting positions to the point that one wondered who had shown up.

There’s an old rhyme that describes President Obama and his debate strategy. It’s called A Wise Old Owl.
A wise old owl lived in an oak
The more he saw the less he spoke
The less he spoke the more he heard.
Why can’t we all be like that wise old bird?
I think the president took in all the information he could, just by listening. Listening is a lost art these days. He actually processes information and thinks before he speaks. It’s refreshing.

We can thank the Righties ‘ hate towards Pres Obama.
The Republican’s/ candidates rely on attacking President Obama’s use of a TelePrompter for one reason: It works. Gingrich’s Prompter line is regularly one of the biggest laugh-getters of his speech and Santorum’s “make TelePrompters illegal” line was almost certainly a planned hit not an off-the-cuff remark.
Why? Because, for Republican base voters, it epitomizes everything they dislike about President Obama.

Ok, R Muse, your argument makes sense. My BIG problem with the Prez’s 1st debate was that opening nonsense about his anniversary! For goodness sake! He was being asked the first important question of the night, on the state of the country’s economy, and he started off with his missing out on his anniversary?!! That made me absolutely mental. BAD strategy. Really thoughtless. STUPID. Now don’t get me wrong, I like Obama. Voted for him once, will vote for him again next month. But I didn’t need to be convinced. That misstep lost him people who just might make the difference, especially given the Republican proclivity to steal elections. Really stupid part of strategy and I would love to bitch-slap the idiot who came up with it.

When George W. Bush lied during the 2000 debates, Al Gore called him a liar — and all that did was make people think Al Gore was unpleasant, and win sympathy for Bush.
Obama did not fall into that trap. And he didn’t feed the “Angry Black Man” stereotype, which Romney would have made TV ads out of to play every hour until the election. Obama stayed calm and dignified and above the fray…
… and fact-check websites like factcheck(.)org and politifact(.)com are listing all of Romney’s lies. *Those* are going to be in the ads until Election Day. *And* the footage of Romney sneaking his cribnotes onto his podium!

to Donna Harris et al:
Sam Vaknin is NOT a psychologist, he is the subject of a documentary “I – psychopath” in which he is tested and proved to be a narcissistic psychopath. In the documentary, he also names Jesus Christ as a narcissistic psychopath.
He is not an expert on anything – he is a psychopath, a sick man adoring all the attention. His doctorate is the mail-order kind, in philosophy, not the result of schooling or education. You are the one who needs to do fact checking.
