Former bin Laden Hideout Pakistan is the Only Country that Prefers Romney
By: Sarah JonesNov. 5th, 2012more from Sarah Jones
In a poll of countries around the world, President Obama is preferred to Romney in 20 of the 21 countries polled. The Romney holdout? Pakistan.
A 21 nation poll for BBC World Services for GlobeScan conducted between July 3-September 3 polled 21,797 people around the world and found that 50% would prefer to see President Obama reelected, while a scant 9% for Mitt Romney.
That doesn’t bode well for Romney’s promises to elevate our standing from the fictional “Obama apology tour” that never was. Of course, Romney knows apologies well, as he was forced to apologize for his foolish behavior in Britain during the Olympics, and grovel he did. Why, he even gave a presser to clarify things and you know things are bad when Romney is willing to speak at the press. His other preferred pressers come when he thinks the time is ripe to politicize a tragedy. This might explain why 65% of the UK want to see the President reelected.
In France, home to scary socialism like healthcare for all and pain au chocolat, they prefer Mr. Obama by 72%. Only 2% want to see Mr. Romney in the White House.
Not to fear a total routing for Mr. Romney, Pakistan is in his corner with 14% who want to see him elected to just 11% for Obama. Close. But Romney gets Pakistan.
How will Mitt Romney make the case that he will work with our allies when they don’t want him to be president? Maybe he can make nice with the Pakistanis. They probably got word that he wasn’t interested in getting Osama and figured he’d be easier to deal with than Obama.
While support for Obama is in line with what the world felt for him in 2008, his right wing fictional home country of Kenya is less enthusiastic, as is China (among four total). China must be looking forward to being labeled a trade manipulator on Day One of a Romney presidency. How great would a trade war with China be for our economy!? Right? In truth, China clearly knows that Mitt Romney is all talk and as his own son told Putin last week, doesn’t mean the things he says on the campaign trail. No one is afraid of Mitt Romney. He’s a weak man with one driving motivation — personal profit. Very easy to manipulate.
The world prefers Obama. Thus, according to right wing logic, the world sucks. Hard to figure how right wingers can take such a belligerent attitude to the rest of the world and yet support someone who keeps his money stashed around the world and whose son was in Russia doing business sending secret messages to Putin last week. But Kenya!
The world does not want us to change horses. No doubt they can hardly figure what’s wrong with us that this race was ever close.
If I were a right winger and the shoe was on the other foot, I’d say the terrorists want Romney to win. But that would be so unfair. The poll shows that many in Pakistan had no opinion on who wins our election and the terrorists probably don’t really care who gets elected — so long as the only man who actually bothered to track them down isn’t re-elected.

Romney may consider moving to Pakistan, since they like him and is already the country with the features he likes:
Women do not count
Elections are fixed
The rich stay rich and the poor stay poor
The religion rules the moral code
The corporation do whatever they want to as their Government does not have teeth to enforce much.
Bin Laden has left a void the could be filled with Rommney and his group of robber barons
It could be a win-win situation

Also, since Iran has bullied Pakistan over the Baluchi oilfields for decades, there might be interests there who would *like* a war with Iran (being fought by someone else).

It is really stunning. All these countries that don’t want Romney, seeing/ knowing him for what he is, and yet in our country almost half of the voting age population will vote for this sociopath.
Think of all that has been exposed about the soulless automaton, for the past year or so. All of it including the non-stop pathological lying. The 47% crap, the return to the Bush policies and worse, all of it. And, yet, in this country half of our voting age population will vote for this ?
What a stunning comment about the very nature of these types of human beings. Nothing more than sniveling cretins who have constructed a personal universe that is devoid of facts, and is built upon 100% fiction. And for these sniveling cretins it is more important to have their fictionalized universe validate by the likes of the, of course, pathological liar Romney than to accept the actual reality of soulless goon.
Does not matter to them that by voting for this goon that they will of course make their pathetic cretin like lives worse. All’s that matters is ‘winning’ in order to validate that their fictionalized universe is ‘right’.
It is this fact that is the most scary deal of it all. The election will come and go. But about half of adult population are in fact these very people.
What does that mean for the future, the actual future, of our country ?

You touch upon a very sensitive subject: Namely, the “Americans are stupid” stereotype.
I too think it’s absurd that this Presidential race is as close as it is. I have family in Europe and friends in Australia; they just shake their heads and chuckle at the fact that so many Americans are so backward thinking and misinformed.
Applying Occam’s Razor to the whole thing; what is more likely: A)The rest of the civilized world “sucks” and is under a mass delusion, or B) The rest of the western world (including Japan) has been, for the last several years, on the same page regarding the Republican party and their candidates for VERY good reasons. I find it difficult to believe that any rational person wouldn’t choose the latter.

CORPOCRACY OF AMERICA
May it survive Corpocracy and go back to Democracy
My Solutions—-
A. People repeal Corp is a man
B. Fed Fund Election-Stop two yr campaigns waste of money/ time
6 months–3 for Primary Campaign–3 For General Campaign
free equal tv time-provided by “our” tv airwaves
One Debate a week. That is 12 And is adequate to evaluate candidates,
This stops need to raise campaign funds. Congress and White House can stay on the job instead of constant traveling to raise funds. Restrict outside campaign funds.
C. Since there is no need for campaign funds BAN members of the government from receiving anything with a financial value current or future promises. Stop the bribing by Lobbyists.
D. Progressive Flat Tax By Group-we have a $14,000 income a 3800B budget yet rank #2 in oecd nations as lowest taxed. We refuse to tax wealth enough to pay our way. They have the money.
Top 50% get 87% (agi) of Income and pay 13.5% Tax Rate.
Bottom 50% or 70,000,000 workers get 13% not enough to pay much in taxes.
They pay a greater percent of that Income in payroll- state-local taxes than many top incomes.
It has been a disgrace that top ceos can get enormous increases in pay and many of 70,000,000 cannot get an increase in the minimum wage to better their standard of living.
In A Christian nation I often wonder what Jesus Christ would say to us?
E. Tax Book–burn that sucker. start anew. Any request for an exemption be televised so the public can watch attempts at bribery. It is so sad that in 2011 corporations with record profits paid 12.1% Tax Rate for second lowest in oecd nations. It is sad when we borrow $1300B with $14,000B income.
because we tax only $2300B or 16.4% Tax Rate yet top incomes had huge pay increases.
Job Creators=lowest since Hoover =while rich got ultra rich and masses borrowed from those rich to keep a decent standard of living. While top 10% gained to 73% of Net Wealth–to 83% of Financial Wealth and got 50% of…

While I agree with most of what you say there is one comment that I do not: your calling this a christian nation. I am not a christian BUT I am a part of this nation. One of the large points of this election is that the Republican party is trying to force their religious ideals onto the rest of this country as laws if they possibly can. One of the greatest things about this country is that we can follow a religion OR not as I do. It’s not even fair to say we should follow christian ideals because not everyone believes in how that is defined. So while I respect you as christian please do not define the rest of us as a Christian Nation, but rather a Nation of Freedom.
