You sir must be one of those Koch brothers tea party fools or tools. Did Ryan answer the question good enough for you? You must watch FOX lies misinformation and/or half truths, because people that watch FOX are dumbed down. And you seem to fit the bill. You as an American are a traitor if you’re willing to vote for an idiot like Ryan after you watch him fall apart like he did.

Wow – is it me or did Ryan argue against his own plan early in his argument? Here:

Ryan: … “High-income earners use most of the loopholes. That means they can shelter their income from taxation. But if you take those loopholes, those tax shelters away from high-income earners, more of their income is subject to taxation. And that allows us to lower tax rates on everybody — small businesses, families, economic growth.”

I seriously thought the next thing out of his mouth might be: “Obama 2012!”

Also remember Reagan promised the same thing (with a much smaller tax cut and much more personality) and it never worked. Why, because cuts in the Federal budget had to be made up by local and state budgets. As he forced more and more costs onto local and state governments which tend to have regressive tax structures, any saving the Middle Class made in Federal taxes was eaten up by the rise of state and local taxes. Net effect: the rich got richer, the poor got poorer, and the Middle Class was left holding the bag. LOL they will never learn.

Typical George. He is sucha tool. Here he has a chance to real nail Ryan to the wall and he lets Lyin Ryan ramble on and on about totally nonsensical issues. Yes, similar to Palin except that he does not need to so obviously check his cheat sheets. But it is all the same: any question asked, answer is the same: blame Obama. Throw in keywords that make it sound like giving $5 trillion to the super wealthy is a good thing b/c you will close a few loopholes. There are no loopholes for the rich worth $5 trillion, period. The only loopholes that big are the deductions for charitable deductions, health insurance, education, and especially mortgages. Yes, the rich have a chunk of those (especially the latter) but whereas the rich person’s tax cut will far more than cover their loss of the mortgage deduction, for middle class families the loss of the mortgage deduction will result in a far bigger tax bill overall. Why the non t-bagger republicans can’t figure this out I cannot tell.

So didn’t Paul Ryan just admit that his whole plan is a crapshoot if their plan relies on having a debate over which loopholes to close, since he doesn’t know which loopholes will be closed (if any)?

Why isn’t this being discussed more? Ask what they plan on doing if Congress doesn’t go along with their strategy.
