Picture of the Day: The 47% Want to See Your Tax Returns!
Picture of the day: Protesters hold signs reading, “I pay taxes, do you?” and “The 47% want to see your tax returns!” as Mitt Romney’s motorcade passes in Hillsborough, California on Friday, September 21.

The answer to the protester’s question might be, “Only when he has to, and only when he’s running.” But even then, you won’t get to see his entire return and he will manipulate it so that it appears he pays a higher rate than he would have were he not running.

I love it! Signs similar to these should appear everywhere Romney shows up. There’s nothing quite like activist citizens!

I was just thinking the same thing and love love this smack down. Posters like these and similiar should follow him everywhere on the campaign trail. By now most people realise he was referring to blacks and Hispanics/Latinos when he made that 47% statement because he thinks only minorities vote for PO. It must be a rude awakening to him and his team to realise most of those 47%ers are white ie., seniors, medicare recipients, vets, disabled and children, unemployed, low paying workers who don’t make enough to pay income taxes but do pay other taxes.

He will never show his taxes. The fact that Ryan was required to show 10 yrs worth while Mitt refuses to provide no more than two (one of which was “crafted”) is funny. Couple that with the fact of a Swiss bank account and I don’t see why anyone would vote for him. A vote for him would be Bush redux with another war and an even worse financial meltdown.

He opened the door stating that 47% of Americans don’t pay taxes. Is he in that 47% since he didn’t pay taxes for ten years as Harry Reid stated? Mr. Reid wouldn’t put his reputation at risk by talking out of the side of his mouth. And what about reports that Romney’s tax returns are out there to the highest bidder? Wasn’t there some report that some entity broke into the files that contained Romney’s returns which they were holding until at opportunistic time to show them? Would the holders of said tax returns please rise? Oh if this would be true…Romney would be done, done and done!
