Bill Clinton Slams Romney and Exposes the Top 4 Things that Mitt is Hiding
more from Jason Easley and Sarah Jones
At a grassroots event today in Parma, Ohio, President Clinton said that Mitt Romney’s hiding the truth from the American people.
PRESIDENT CLINTON: Now, the last thing could say is, I had a lot of fun down at the Democratic Convention talking about arithmetic. But I listened very carefully to the Vice Presidential debate and to the second Presidential debate, and Mr. Romney says, I’m going to do all of this, I’m going to just cut taxes for the middle class, I’m not interested in rich people, they’ll pay the same percentage of tax they pay now. What does that mean? He thinks we’re dumb.
[Laughter]
If you cut everybody else’s taxes and people in my income group pay the same percentage, it means we get a tax cut too. Right? We have too. You cut everybody else’s taxes, and I say that my percentage should go up if you freeze my taxes. So, in the debate, without saying so, he got caught with a fact. He hates to get caught admitting anything. And so, we keep saying, show us your budget. Where are your numbers? The President has given you a budget. He said you won’t like all of it. It adds to two and a half dollars of spending cuts for every dollar of new revenues, but we’ve got to do something about the debt. It will take the debt down $4 trillion. Here are my numbers. Where are your numbers? This guy ran Bain Capital and is a business guy, and he’s hiding his budget? That ought to tell you something. He – well, he’s hiding his taxes, too, but he’s hiding his taxes in the years when he earned ordinary income. He’s given us two years when he was just running for president. And, he’s hiding whether he would have signed the Lilly Ledbetter act. He’s hiding everything. He doesn’t want you to think about him. He wants you to think, oh this economy is terrible. “I’m a jobs guy.” And as President Obama said in the debate, if I brought you a deal to Bain Capital and I said, fund my new business, I’ll give you the budget sometime in the future, just trust me on that – you wouldn’t give me one red cent, and we should not give him one vote on that.
According to Clinton, Romney is hiding:
1). The fact that his tax plan cuts taxes for the wealthy.
2). His budget
3). His tax returns
4). The fact that he doesn’t support equal pay for women.
In all the media appearances and campaign stops that President Clinton has done, this is closest that he has come to flat out calling Mitt Romney a liar.
Bill Clinton is too smooth and polished to do something as crass as calling Romney a liar. Instead, he presented the facts in his own common sense folksy way, and let the audience draw their own conclusions about Romney’s honesty.
Former President Clinton was correct. Romney does think that the American people are stupid. After using up everything in his bag of tricks during the first presidential debate, Romney was left with nothing but criticisms of Obama, and his used car salesman promise that America should trust him to fix the economy.
While Mitt Romney is trying to sell you a lemon, Bill Clinton is checking under the hood.
The Republican nominee won’t let you take a test drive, but President Clinton is making sure that Ohio, and the rest of the country, doesn’t get stuck with another clunker.

As always, Bill Clinton hit it out of the park. It’s obvious that Willard is making it up as he goes along, and hoping and believing that there are more than enough gullible fools to vote him into the WHO without knowing important details. I firmly believe that whatever he does if he got in the WH would be the bidding of the ruthless plutocrats and hard right crackpots whom he pandered to just to get the GOP nomination. At the debate, Candy Crawley asked him what he would do if his numbers didn’t add up, and he insisted that they do. Not only does he not like being challenged or contradicted, but he will also double down on a statement even when it’s shown to be divorced from reality.

WAY TO GO MR CLINTON!!!!!! That was great. I am sharing this EVERYWHERE.
The election is supposedly tight, although, I am still baffled how women can vote for Romney, or how any ethnic group could. The things he says, the 47%, self deportation, women in binders, what is next? Hitting a baby?
If Romney hit a baby, the GOP would find a way to to justify it.

Trouble is, all the evidence in the world won’t persuade most republicans to change their views. I am a British Christian Socialist, and I have many American Christian friends, nearly all of whom are fiercely anti-Obama. I mean they HATE him. They seem to turn a blind eye to Romney’s glaring faults, and will NOT hear a word said against him. So I’ve given up. It’s like flogging a dead horse. These people will argue black is white, and when presented with hard evidence they just shout me down. Really, really irritating. And scary. There’s so many of their type around that I think there’s a real danger of a Romney win. Here in Europe he’s a laughing stock, and it’s terrifying to think this buffoon could be your next president.

I find the same with my GOP contacts; it’s like they have been taken by aliens and sent back totally brainwashed and racist. There is no other explanation for them wishing POTUS to be a one-term president before he had even taken office, and obstructing anything he brought to the table. In spite of it all, he has a lengthy list of accomplishments of which he can be very proud. He has had to butt his head against the wall every step of the way; yet he remains cool, calm and presidential, unlike the opponent who acts disrespectful to Mr. Obama and the office of the president. That is not the way a prospective president should or would act in normal times. Mitt hss lots of secrets, far more than Pres. Clinton outlines here, but they are coming out, one by one. Give a man enough rope and he will hang himself.

I wonder at these Christians who think ‘hate’ is ok when Jesus Christ spoke against it and encouraged us to be tolerant, loving, respectful etc,. Though I do agree that Romney is easy to hate, I try not to use that term.
Romney has no moral core, he’s corrupt, unscrupulous, selfish, greedy, contemptuous of other he thinks beneath him, the list is endless and no, this is not just an opinion but proven fact based on his career choices and his behaviour and actions during campaign from the primary to now.

Jesus said Judge not, that you be judged. But when a man is running for the most powerful office in the world, and carries the lives and safety of 300 million Americans in his hands, I would say it’s very much JUSTIFIED in Romney’s case.
The people of Germany would accept anyone considering the suffering there pre-war. But they didn’t get just anyone, they got AH. My point is that people’s hatred of our President can lead them, along with the rest of us, down a very dangerous road. Thinking that Romney is a fitting alternative to President Obama is more and more appearing to be a very large dangerous mistake on the part of those mislead. This will affect us all.

I agree completely.
The “new” GOP is not so stupid that they cannot see through Romney’s lies, his grifting, his narcissism, especially after having been through Sarah Palin.
I also no not believe all of them—most of them, yes, but not all of them—agree with Romney’s mean spirited, ever changing, and downright illogical “policies.” I put “policies” in quotation marks because I dont know if he has ANY policy other than “get the black man out of the white house.”
I think racism is at the heart of the denial most GOP find themselves in. They do not want to think of themselves as racist, or at least, they don’t want to admit it “out loud” and have no choice BUT to irrationally defend against President Obama by being inappropriately offensive.
They are in denial.
They are projecting their own faults onto Obama specifically and Democrats generally.
They have taken on the persona and symptoms of their malignant narcissistic sociopathic figure heads, Romney and (Ayn Rand) Ryan.
Let us not forget just exactly how historic it is that we have our first black president.
History will show the shame the new GOP has brought to our country.
I am so proud of our president, our first lady and their family. They have kept the bar high, and carried themselves with respect and dignity in a battle that IS NOT POLITICS AS USUAL. ROMNEY DOES NOT DISAGREE SO MUCH WITH OBAMA’S LEADERSHIP, HE SIMPLY DISAGREES WITH LOSING HIS GOOD OLE WHITE BOY SUPERIORITY TO A BLACK MAN.
Yes, it really is that simple. There is not really any other explanation that makes sense.
We need a 2 party system. We need a republican party. We just need one of sensible, reasonable, unprejudiced people who merely have a different idea of how to care for our country.
Instead what we have now is a mentally unstable, pathological, dysfunctional GOP, and it shows.
Real Republicans need to take their party back !
For ALL our sakes.

They didn’t learn anything from Palin… it’s been only a few weeks (maybe a few months now?) since I’ve seen or heard anyone refer to Palin “being robbed”, but it used to be a regular refrain around here, and I even heard it while pumping gas and in the stores.
(I still see “Palin for President” bumper stickers that aren’t old now and then, and a couple of “Palin for President” signs remained up into the last couple of months.)
They thought they were going to take over the country in 2008, and then pushed a lot closer in 2010. They just don’t like the fact that while there are a lot of them (“Good Christians”), there are also a lot of us who don’t want to live in a theocracy. They also think that God will give them the victory (never mind that it might be deceit and lawbreaking on the part of their masters that betrays this country).

He’s not even Black. He’s bi-racial. We haven’t actually had a President yet where both his mom and dad are Black.
We haven’t had an Oriental President, either. Nor Mexican. I was afraid that we might end up with a Mexican President earlier in the game. I would have nothing against having a Mexican President but not that needle-happy former governor of the Lone-Star State.
Anyway, I don’t care if the President has GREEN skin just so long as he does his job–and, as with you, I think he’s doing a fine job and I want him back for four more years!

My family is just like that. They absolutely hate Obama to varying degrees, and that is the premise for their voting. One of them actually says Obama is taking God out of her country. I am a social studies teacher, so I know about ‘separation of church and state’ in the Constitution. I teach it to students. However, there is no point in trying to explain this to them because they have no idea what it means. Several of them have large incomes, so they support the GOP’s big business platform. They refuse to think that the middle class will suffer more than we already do. And some of them are in the middle class with me. I give up on them, but I pray for an Obama victory.

It’s interesting to hear this, Joanne. AGAIN! When my husband and I visited Britain in the Spring of 2009, a very nice gentleman struck up a conversation with us on the train from Bath back to London. It was Sunday evening and he was returning to work in London, where it turns out that he was a high level person in that here would be the equivalent to Joint Chiefs of Staff as he described it. He was quite open about their relief to work with President Obama and his administration and happy to see Bush’s administration out. He said they were completely fed up with Bush and Rumsfeld.
We were getting off sooner than he and almost missed our stop we were so engaged in his open discussion of their experience working with Bush, et al since 9/11. We have so many times wished we’d asked for his card before we rushed off the train so we could correspond with him again. And of course we have forgotten his name and title. Such a nice guy!

He’s hiding a lot more than that, like the fact that per the Book of Mormon, Mormons are going to take over the country and convert all of us to Mormonism through the government. They feel they are the only true religion which is why they baptize dead people into Mormonism. They have billions of dollars and a lot of profit making companies that are tax exempt because they operate under the church, they operate the largest online gun sales, their god lives on the planet Kolob and is the father of the Mormon Jesus and Satan. Mormon men who reach the highest level of priesthood in the church become gods in the afterlife and are given their own planet. Magic underwear protect them from evil and physical harm. There’s a lot more read up on it before you elect someone who hides his faith to run our country, because it is a cult, and they think they have found their chosen one, who will take over the country for the Mormons.

We know all that, but they are not going to turn America Mormon even with Romney. The far, far larger threat is his personal willingness to defer to the pseudo Christian Dominionists who want to take over the Seven Mountains of society including all government AND the military. These are the End Time believers that intend to take over the world to get Christ to come back. Mitt has pitched in with them and their policy goals, and THAT is seriously dangerous.
You will never get most people to wear Magic Underwear OR believe in Kolub. Just won’t.

Thank You former President Clinton for your support of President Obama. What I’m wondering is, Where is George Bush? Why isn’t he supporting Romney? We all know the answer to this. He put us in this situation with his trickle down economics. The fact that Mitt only has his blinding sheep follower’s backing him and a large number of voters that say that they are voting for him, either haven’t done their homework or are in the top percentages of the country or who have a personal gain from Mitt getting into office, due to a promise.

Yeah, intelligent people should wonder at that esp. since Romney’s econimic plan is Bush redux. John McCain excluded Bush and his name from his campaign also though he did boast of supporting him 90% of the time. The man is persona non grata in his own party that once elevated him to god status, he could do no wrong until the economy crashed, Amercans started loosing jobs in the hundreds of thousands a day, the the bills started coming in, then he was deemed to be toxic.

I just had a long, frustrating, conversation with one of my Conservative friends. I used to be a Republican… but the party lost me a few years ago under Bush. I cannot fathom why this woman – who I know to have a lot of personal integrity – is defending Mitt’s lying about Obama in inflammatory, no evidence ways. The disconnect between “do unto others” and what she is defending… boggles my mind. I have suggested to everyone that instead of looking at the lies the other guy is telling… become aware of where your candidate is not telling the truth…. then take a look at the other guy’s lies… and then decide where you fall on the issues and THEN make a decision about who to vote for. But most people seem to want to be ignorant of where their candidtate is less than truthful… if we don’t hold our own parties to the truth… if we keep on accepting these blatant lies… then we will deserve the government we get. “A nation of sheep will inherit a government of wolves” or something like that.

Sudden thought:
In many ways—remember Obama has made BIG TIME history by being first black president—many “good” people are undergoing a paradiagm shift.
Not as many people as I previously assumed are introspective; I think many many people are not and they are republican. They live their lives on a somewhat surface (NOT superficial) level and in many ways are simply not self-aware in the way I think more liberal minded people are.
Liberals take more time and effort to use critical thinking skills and also play devil’s advocate with themselves prior to stating, ” I now have an opinion.”
Liberals, I believe, are a product of their own search for truth.
I have met many many people, who I liked in many ways and who were reasonable, rational, healthy appearing adults but to whom “a search for truth” was not a priority and for many, not even on their “to do” list.
Long story short: THE SHOCK OF ACTUALLY REALIZING ( it has taken some a long time to digest this fact) THAT WE HAVE OUR FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT and that he is NOT a stereotype of what they have always thought blacks to be, is hitting home and they are realizing that in many ways, they have to change a great many patterns in the way they THINK, the way they FEEL and also have realized that unconsciously, they HAVE BEEN AND STILL ARE RACIST.
I think most of these people are NOT accepting their previously unrealized attitudes and they are literally going through a kind EXISTENSIAL CRISIS, THE FIRST STAGES OF WHICH ARE LIKE FINDING YOURSELF IN HELL.
It is a kind of “mass existensial crisis” and in my mind, a real fight of good v. evil.
Narcissistic sociopaths, pathological liars like Palin, and now Romney along with Herman Cain, Allen West, Michelle Bachman, Paul Ryan and others are simply the pus in a boil that has been festering for a long time, and the election of the first black to the presidency has brought that boil to bursting.

He set the stage for supply side economics and massive deregulation. He signed the dissolution of the Glass-Steagall Act that let banks use depositors’ money to speculate. He may be a genial guy, but he sold labor and the American public down the river with free trade that had no protections for us all. He waffled and yielded on every issue – he was saved by Tim McVeigh’s horrific act that finally allowed Bill to act presidential rather than a pushover scardy-cat for the Right. Before that he folded like a cheap suit every time the Right pushed him. HE lost the Congress – and gave us Newt. And unlike Obama who has gained huge concessions from the GOP, he got nothing. Nothing at all.

Yeah, he did give away a lot. But to be fair it was Reagan who signed the NAFTA deal with then Canadian PM Brian Mulroney, the most hated PM in Canadian history. Clinton just issued it into law. I think the Lewinsky scandal took away a lot of his bargaining power,( men and their dicks) plus he is and was pro business. I think that’s why many progressive Dems. supported Obama over Hillary because of Bill abandoining Democratic root causes/beliefs. He was still a good President, liked and respected around the world.

Bill Clinton cuts Mitt no slack and neither do we who want to see his taxes, to see his budget with appropriate numbers, to see his plan not platitudes. Pres. Clinton is factually correct and otherwise makes so much sense.
The only people who aren’t going to vote for Mr. Obama are those who don’t want him to have another term period just like those people in Congress who did nothing for the nation for more than two years. It doesn’t matter to them that the Party of NO has caused them jobs, smaller incomes because its elected officials refused to play ball with Barack Obama even on issues they believe in.
But they’ll hire a man who has shown them no reason to trust him; a man who does not trust the people he wants “to work for.” Go figure.

The sad answer to those who post here on why someone is deaf to issues and lies and determined Romney is ‘their guy’ is this: Racism. Racism. Racism.
When you hit a wall of solid illogic, when the candidate of their choice is against their own personal beliefs, the answer? Racism. Racism. Racism.
Fired by the right wing media (who have a much more sinister agenda) and angry shows and ads, there it is, beneath it all. Racism. Racism. Racism.
I surely hope we all aren’t buried in needless wars, environmental disasters, more economic grief, injustices and new troubles with other countries, all due to Racism. Racism. Racism.

You are so right.
Won’t restate what I said above, but yes, racism is the ONLY thing that makes sense.
Mass Existensial Crisis for the less than introspective among us who can no longer ignore their unconscious attitudes and beliefs that they have never critically examined.
What’s that old line, “The unexamined life is not worth living.”
When FORCED to examine their previously unexamined lives because of the election of a black president, it becomes a terribly frightening, fearful and anxiety ridden existence.
They will do ANYTHING to go back into the dark and not have to see who they really are.
They will follow any “cult” leader who will rid them of black man who is making them look so deeply into themselves.
Romney and Ryan are “cult leaders” in the same sense that Sarah Palin was (tho to lesser extent now) and Jim Jones and his mass suicide in Guyana.
I was shocked to learn belatedly that Jim Jones was quite a political leader in sophisticated San Francisco ( I lived there for 10 years and San Franciscians do not easily fall for gifters !) and was even given some award by the Mayor.
Hitler was there for the Germans after they lost World War I.
Jones and other “spiritual gurus” were there for the spiritually poor and now we have Romney Ryan, Bachman, Palin, Allen West, Herman Cain (nine nine nine) for the politically dysfunctional who cannot bear to lose their “white” superiority.
Dangerous and important times.

anybody ever read the 48 laws of power? deception is the mainstay; lying, cheating, con games, slight of hand, smoke and mirrors…and religion has a chapter by itself.
the elite wealthy have bought out the republican party, together have installed a 30+ year attack on democracy, and anyone who is democrat, but the main focus is democratic Presidents. the 4 year anti-Obama campaign is reaching a never seen before magnitude, signaling the expectation of their goals being within reach.
the mind control tactics, and subliminal messages and propaganda machine of disinformation seems to have paid dividends on their multi-trillion investment. those who have bought into the rhetoric are past reason.
a person will believe any lie as long as it’s what they want to hear. find a persons fear, and you can hamstring him.
i have no solution, except to install new laws for news services, that truth of stories, reports must pass validation. commentaries/opinions must be labeled properly.
if religious groups want to enter into government/politics discussions they must give up tax exemption.

There is a recurring theme here and on many other sites that many Republicans argue incessantly without answering questions based on facts. Many of them answer robotically with the same repetitive statements that have no facts to support them.As one person said earlier in these posts “It’s like talking to a brick wall”.I am Canadian and I have watched a fair amount of American politics over the years and how a party run mostly by rich white people can secure the votes of the poorer states by fear mongering and lies is beyond me.I guess racism, guns and god go a long way.

What world do you live in, SIS? On our way to ruin? He has increased jobs, reduced the deficit, introduced a health care plan that gives millions coverage, taken out the most feared terrorist of our time, and opened up trade agreements with several countries. He’s done more in 4 years to help us than Bush did in 8. He knows how to address the people of his nation and the people of the world. Look at Romney. His Bain Capital has cost thousands their jobs, his plan is going to increase the deficit, he wants to make health care more expensive for seniors and impossible for the poor/unemployed, wants to give $2 trillion to DoD while removing it from the non-military portions of DoD (USAID anyone?), and has already insulted at LEAST 47% of his own nation (more if you ask me) and the entire populations of several other nations. Screw the policy, if this man becomes president, he will cause a war just because he can’t shut his pie hole or tell the truth. I’ve never seen so many lies come out of a single human being. I do not know how he sleeps at night. Unless Mormonism condones straight-up lying for power, then he has also abandoned his religion. He’s no longer pro-life, in the last few days flip-flipped on trickle Down economics, and may be guilty of felony tax evasion, which would make him ineligible to run. You can’t trust a darn thing that comes out of his mouth. So let’s think this over again… WHO is going to run this country? If you ask me, it’s people like you.

Mormonism DOES allow lying for power !
It is called “Lying For The Lord.”
When you think God is behind everything you think then anything you think ( and thus say) is ok with God even if it is a lie.
More to it but google for research.
It’s a Mormon thing !

Republicans had a great time being obstructionist these past few years. Romney/Ryan faith driven policies and deception continues to be exposed. Some of which are scecretly scaring the bageezus outta Republicans. They are at a cross roads, defend the constitution and their rights with Obama or give in to their ego and go against their own priciples and sell out. Romney/Ryan policies will hurt all but the 1% at the top too and they know it and wont admit it.

SIS-
Please explain to me and maybe all democrats how Obama has ruined this country. Were you here four years ago? Just checking? This argument astonishes me. How did Obama ruin this country? No one ever has a answer, just that he ruined it. Talk is cheap, facts are real. Just like Romney’s tax plan, no specifics. Is your life worse because of Obama? Seriously, I would like to know. Now lets get back to the facts. I do know how Obama has improved this country: Signed a bill for equal opportunity for women, ended don’t ask don’t tell, created 5 million jobs, ended the war in Iraq and killed Ben Laden…just to name a few. How come everywhere I go people are buying stuff they don’t need. Are we a country set for disaster? House prices are on the rise, etc etc. Again How did Obama ruin this country? Obamacare? Do you pay more for health insurance? Anything? Im sure like many others liberals are wondering “How did Obama ruin this country?” We all know the real reasons for the hatred towards Obama. It’s no coincident to the rise of the Tea Party after the the election of the first black president. What really baffles me to utter disbelief is how more republicans believe Obama is a Muslim than believe in climate change. Ignorance is bliss i guess.

how could you believe slick willie?
Is it not clear to every one obama has gone from bad to worse Doubled the gas prices in four years, borrowed so much money from the Chinese and then wasted it on failed stimulus incentives.
First black president to ever bankrupt the country. What a huge mistake we all made. Its time to fix the issues not continue on with the same failed policy’s of this administration.
On a positive note if obama wins he will crush the democratic party in a way that no republican ever could.

Well lets see. Obama, unlike presidents of the past has doubled gas prices. Obviously he should be making the same money as the oil company presidents
The stimulus was very successful. And guess what, Bush is still the leading figure when it comes to borrowing from the outside countrys.
Let me guess, you want to follow Romney and use the same failed policy’s of the Bush administration that got us where we are.
Deep thinking is not one of your talents is it.

Shiva, they conveniently forgot that under Bush, gasoline was $4+ a gallon. How like trolls to manipulate facts and truths. Bush took a surplus and squandered it and put the country in so much debt, it will take decades to pay if off, but no, in the trolls’ narrow world, their Republican Presidents are gods who do no wrong. History and Statistics have proved that when Democrats are in power, employment rises, debt is paid down and people are happier but not to these trolls, facts do matter much like Cheney saying deficits don’t matter, until it does.

What’s going on is that the Mormon’s are & have been whitewashing everything they can since Romney first entered the political arena. This isn’t the first site and won’t be the last to sabotage those which expose them.
Lying for the Lord is indeed a well used Mormon practice and they’re really taking it to extremes. They will use any dirty tactic, deception, misdirection & all their money, power & control over others to ensure a win for the Romney LDS Theocracy. Just think how much richer they’ll be, & the power they can wield over us and the world.

Wikipedia site excert on Mormon Lying For The Lord.
It is a full page, this is just short paragraph.
All I could think of when I read this is how others have commented how Mormonism wants to take over the government and make everyone a mormon. This would certainly provide support for Lying For The Lord under the following explanation:
For the Mormon, loyalty and the welfare of the church are more important than the principle of honesty, and plausible denials and deception by omission are warranted by an opportunity to have the Mormon organization seen in the best possible light. This is part of the larger package of things that lead many to describe Mormonism as a cult. “Lying for the lord” is part of Mormonism’s larger deceptive mainstreaming tactics, and conversion numbers would drastically lower if important Mormon beliefs were fully disclosed to investigators.
IT THIS WAY ANN AND ROMNEY “PIVOT” I.E. CHANGE THE SUBJECT SO THAT THEY NEVER ACTUALLY ANSWER A QUESTION BUT ONLY DISCUSS SOMETHING RELATED I.E.
IS THIS WHY ROMNEY NEVER SAID YES OR NO TO THE SIMPLE TOWNHALL QUESTION OF “DO YOU APPROVE OF EQUAL PAY FOR EQUAL WORK FOR WOMEN?”(Paraphrased.)
The rest of the large Wikipedia page will also make your blood boil.
Mitt and Queen Ann can sleep at night because they can lie without feeling they have done anything wrong. In fact, they feel they are doing God’s work by lying !
Don’t think foreign heads of state will accept this from Romney. Are we going to have to go back to digging bomb shelters ?

I don’t care what religion, if any, anyone believes in, even something as cultish as Mormonism and Scientology,
BUT
what I do care about is when their religion mandates that it should be and needs to be part of government, my government, our government.
When your religion intereferes with my constitutional rights, then your relgion becomes my business.
When your use your religion to justify illegal, dishonest and unethical actions then YOU open up YOUR religion to MY criticism.
I will never criticize what you believe but I will criticize your shoving YOUR religion down MY throat
ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE ASKING ME TO GIVE YOU THE JOB OF PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES !

The Mormons have opened their religion up to scientific criticism many years ago by trying to make scientific claims based on their lying “Book of Mormon”.
The book has been soundly disproved, and the evidence is that it was knowingly written as a scam. After all, look at the megachurch preachers… and how much money and power they have. It was true even in Smith’s time.

Psychology has a term for what many Conservatives are demonstrating. From wikipedia: “The backfire effect is a cognitive bias that causes individuals challenged with evidence contradictory to their beliefs to reject the evidence and instead become an even firmer supporter of the initial belief. The phrase was first coined by Brendan Nyhan and Jason Reifler in a paper entitled “When Corrections Fail: The persistence of political misperceptions”.”

And Bill never smoked pot or had sexual relations with that woman. Give me a break !! Under Obama 107,057 federal jobs were added and he will add more to run Obama Care and to rebuild our roads and bridges !! Which means more tax dollars needed. You liberals have destroyed our country and are rewriting the Constitution for your own political values and agendas. The government is to big and it’s sticking it’s nose where it doesn’t belong. Read the Constitution and it tells what the roll of the Federal Government is. If Obama wins you people have no one to blame but yourselves when the shit hits the fan !! But I’m sure you will find some one, you always do. I believe in God and that our country was built on Chrstian values. You liberals have changed all that and for you so called Christians. Do you really believe our Lord would approve of the murder of an unborn child ? May God forgive you and have mercy on your soul for supporting the murder of innocent children.

The funny thing is you know nothing of Obama care. Its all in the public sector! Its not government healthcare. You should become informed before you rant on about things you are totally ignorant of.
I havent seen anyone rewriting the constitution in the congress, have you? Seen any bills in congress to change it?
No matter what this country was built on, today that is determined by the people in the country not a bunch of dead people.
Its hilarious you have no problem with killing people overseas but whine about abortion. Maybe you should read the constitution and come to the conclusion that Americans have the freedom of choice. Yes, the constitution that you dont really believe in. Isnt it fun bending the constitution to your own needs?
You should become informed before you rant on about things you are totally ignorant of. Because you just exposed a ton of ignorance on your part

Here is what the Constitution says about the role of the Feds. Maybe you should read it.
The Constitution’s Preamble says the federal government was established (and the Constitution was adopted) to “form a more perfect union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquillity, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.”
The Constitution’s articles, and the subsequent Amendments, specify the prerogatives of the Feds. They are listed in Article I, Sec. 8; Articles II-V; Amendments XIII-XVI, XIX-XX, XXIII-XXVI. These prerogatives belong to one of the following categories:
1) Defense, war prosecution, peace, foreign relations, foreign commerce, and interstate commerce;
2) The protection of citizens’ constitutional rights (e.g the right to vote) and ensuring that slavery remains illegal;
3) Establishing federal courts inferior to the SCOTUS;
4) Copyright protection;
5) Coining money;
6) Establishing post offices and post roads;
7) Establishing a national set of universal weights and measures;
8 ) Taxation needed to raise revenue to perform these essential functions.
Those are the only prerogatives of the Feds. The Tenth Amendment states that all prerogatives not explicitly given to the Federal Government, nor prohibited of the states, are reserved to the states or to the people (i.e. individual Americans). So the Feds are not allowed to handle any issues not explicitly listed in the Constitution; their prerogatives are limited to what the Constitution explicitly states.
James Madison, the principal original author of that document’s original text who also wrote the first 10 Amendments, wrote in the Federalist Papers that “The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite.”
- Federalist Paper #45, paragraph #9.
The Constitution clearly says that…

- Federalist Paper #45, paragraph #9.
The Constitution clearly says that the Feds’ role is only to provide for the common defense, manage foreign relations, protect citizens’ constitutional rights, establish federal courts; apply and explain federal law (in the judiciary’s case); and a few other minor issues. No branch of the Federal Government is authorized to handle any other issues. So the federal establishment should be strictly limited to these tasks; all others should be reassigned to the states, local governments, and individual Americans.
Of course, the Congress should adequate finance the few agencies that perform constitutional tasks, while auditing and supervising them, and ensuring that their budgets are well spent. Indeed, the federal government even has a few constitutional obligations, such as defense.
But these functions and agencies are few, and are limited by the Constitution. The federal government already raises enough revenue every year to finance them. FY2010 federal tax revenue was sufficient to finance the Pentagon, the State Department, the USPS, the ITC, and the few other federal agencies authorized by the Constitution, but it wasn’t enough to finance an intrusive federal establishment that tinkers with the environment, oil corporations, schools, hospitals, railroads, subways, and highways.
Nor can the Congress legally delegate its prerogatives to someone else, as per the nondelegation doctrine. Hence, the Fed is unconstitutional and should be abolished.
Ronald Reagan said during his First Inaugural Address: “We are a nation that has a government, not the other way around. Our government has no power except that granted by the people, and this makes us special among the nations of the Earth.” Indeed!
In 1794, when the Congress considered whether to appropriate $15,000 (a paltry amount even if adjusted for inflation) to French refugees (fleeing a Jacobin-governed country where innocent people were being slaughtered), Congressman James…

In 1794, when the Congress considered whether to appropriate $15,000 (a paltry amount even if adjusted for inflation) to French refugees (fleeing a Jacobin-governed country where innocent people were being slaughtered), Congressman James Madison, the author of the Constitution and the first 10 Amendments, voted against that appropriation, saying that he “could not undertake to lay [his] finger on that article in the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents. And if they once broke the line laid down before them, for the direction of their conduct, it was impossible to say to what lengths they might go, or to what extremities this practice might be carried.”
The federal government has continued this trend to troubling extremities, indeed. And it has a big annual budget deficit exactly because it has grown inexorably, meddling with affairs not assigned to it by the Constitution.

Nowadays, it maintains 15 Cabinet departments, 2,001 subsidy programs, thousands of pages of federal regulations on the Federal Register, a job-killing EPA, highways that states don’t even want, and government-owned enterprises. It regulates everything, from fuel production rates, to the financial industry, to the oil industry, to minimum wages. It has bailed out many corporations and distributes hundreds of billions of dollars of pork programs (including those 2,001 subsidy programs) every year.
It should therefore be significantly reduced – in line with the Constitution. All unconstitutional agencies and programs, however popular or however many people they serve, should be abolished, while constitutional agencies should be preserved (but also reviewed and reformed).

I don’t don’t hate Obama. I voted for him the last time. I’m an Independent and I do my own research. The media will never tell you the truth. Nobody in congress including the Democrats would support Obamas budget. Every single one voted against it. In his first 2 years of office they had control of the house and senate. He also told us that he would have a transparent government and I haven’t seen any of that in the last 4 years. Whatever happened to letting CSPAN cover the debate on Health Care Reform. Obama said he would let them cover it but he lied to us and shut them out. I review all of Obamas speeches and he has lied through his teeth over the past years. He has turned our citizens against each other and he will ruin the economy. He just doesn’t have the knowledge to run the country and that is plan as day.
