Follow President and First Lady Obama as they mark the 10th anniversary of 9/11 at Ground Zero in New York, Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and in DC at the Pentagon.
President Obama and the First Lady were joined by former President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush in Manhattan, to mark the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that killed almost 3,000 people, where they walked along the north pool of the 9/11 memorial.

Thanks PoliticusUSA for sharing this. It’s not everyday that I see President Obama & the First Lady with the former President Bush & former First Lady standing side by side. Kind of unusual just to see them together.

I am glad that Bush was there and I am glad that people shook his hand. Today its important that the major people involved can share this day as former and current presidents. And I am glad that Obama was big enough to ask Bush to be there

I guess I’m just a silly old woman, but I never get tired of looking at pictures of our President and First Lady. They make me feel very proud. He did the proper thing in inviting George and Laura Bush, just as he seems to always try to do. It doesn’t seem as if it has been 10 years, when we can remember 9-11 so vividly, but in other ways it feels like it has been forever.,

The First Lady isn’t a chore to look at either. I’m proud of our President every day, even when I don’t agree with him because in the end character matters and he has it.
