Actually, Republicans don’t want their well-deserved reputation for being reactionary bigots. That’s why they deny their war on women, try to divert attention from their actions (unless they can make some political hay on it), run “stealth-candidates”, distract people with their continuous fake-outrages of the week, etc. etc. In fact, I would say they invented bait-and-switch/distraction politics.

Don’t get distracted. Stay informed. Shine the light on their filth.

Perhaps it’s a secret plan by the Old South to inflate the military enormously and then be sure Southern values, like the ol’ time religion the AF Academy was preaching, and fear and hatred of all Muslims in military training courses, will take it over. Then the South can finally, by force of arms, beat the North…

Tax the poor feed the rich.

There is no concern for deficits here, this is all for a purpose of keeping the poor and lower middle class too poor to complain, And starving the government down to where the Koch can afford it.
