The Role of Sarah Palin Will Now Be Played By Herman Cain On Fox News
Death panels have been replaced by 9-9-9 as Herman Cain will be taking over Sarah Palin’s role as the voice of crazy on Fox News.
It appears that those who assumed Scott Brown was Sarah Palin’s replacement had it all wrong. Fox News announced today that Herman Cain has joined the network as a contributor. Fox News VP Bill Shine actually said with a straight face that, “Cain’s impressive resume makes him a valuable addition to the FOX News and FOX Business lineup. As a political expert with business savvy, he brings an important voice to the nation’s debates.” Cain topped Shine by adding, “I’m excited about joining the FOX family as a contributor because it is an opportunity to be one more voice for intelligent thinking in America.”
Calling Herman Cain a political expert is both a crime against politics and broadcasting. This is also the same network that consistently referred to Sarah Palin as an energy expert despite the fact that her knowledge of energy policy is limited to knowing how to flip a light switch.
The only person that Fox could have hired with a lighter resume than Sarah Palin was Herman Cain. The former 2012 Republican presidential candidate is most famous for somehow enjoying a short stint as the front runner for the nomination despite the fact that he more allegations of sexual harassment against him (4) than ideas in his campaign (1). Fox News has gotten in step with the times by swapping Palin’s death panels and insane rants for Cain’s 9-9-9 pizza deal/flat tax and insane rants.
Since dropping out of the Republican presidential race, because sexual harassment pandas can’t be president, Cain is most famous for allowing Stephen Colbert to run under his name in the South Carolina Republican presidential primary. (Colbert as Cain finished fifth.)
The irony here is that Fox is likely paying Cain and Brown less combined than they paid Sarah Palin per year.
Since leaving the presidential race Cain has unsuccessfully tried to tap into the right wing media moneymaking scheme, but that will all change now that he is on Fox News. Cain will have a direct pipeline to conservative wallets through Fox. He can now shill his website and his books. The bargain bin section of the bookstore that once belonged to Sarah Palin will now be owned by Herman Cain.
For all practical purposes, the Fox News role of Sarah Palin will now be played by Herman Cain.

The GOP primaries were the most embarrassing thing to come out of that party since, well since the day before they started. Cain was a complete farce, and I think he was put up to it by Colbert
Palin was so afraid of losing she didnt have the cajones to run. All she could do is chatter on the side and act foolish

I don’t watch FOX – can not sit through the nonsense. It is much easier to read articles here and a few other places I frequent. But – Cain? I don’t understand FOX at all. What are they looking for – comedy? He is a shallow politician – businessman sure. Jeez – The Repubs/TP’ers have no pride and no class.

What I take away from this is that FOX Noise is stuck on stupid, and they seem to think that promoting their version of “diversity” will make their toxic nonsense more palatable. The only reason they got rid of Palin is that her ratings had tanked. They still espouse the regressive ideology she gladly parroted, but they seem to think a different messenger to spew their crap will improve their ratings. Herman Cain is a male, African-American version of Sarah Palin, and he is no more appealing in 2013 than he was in 2011.

Obama is the one who invested all that money into the wind turbines and those companies went belly up so when it comes to knowing something about energy, he sure got everything wrong. and he is still getting it wrong and it will cost every person in America before that is over with…he will bankrupt this country with all the government employees he is hiring and all the money he is spending. So when you talk about Sarah Palin not knowing anything about energy, look at Obama and what he has done before you talk about Sarah…..

Take a drive in west Texas all you will see are wind turbines but I guess they are going broke.Hey ,I know you think jesus gave us oil for eternity but its running out and we need other energy sources.Germany knows it .China knows it.Most people who have some education knows it.Pull your head out of your ass and educate yourself on simple facts.

China knows it? They are the #1 buyer of crude oil. Do you think they are buying it so the rest of the world don’t use it? Hell no, they are burning it faster than we can here in America.

LOL Palin quit the energy job!
The congress determines what is spent, not the president.
Bush also invested in Wind and alternate energy. Obama had one company fail. Remember Bush was the one who started the investment in Wind and solar.
If Obama is so bad, can you explain why we will be the biggest oil exporter within a few years? Why we are producing more oil right now then we ever have? Why you are so gullible?
Can you name a law Obama has broken? Obama is a constitutional teacher. I will give you lots of time to run back to Breitbart for your answers.

What about the predecessor Fast and Furious was based upon, “Operation Wide Receiver” which between 2006 and 2007 involved hundreds of guns that were purchased by small-time buyers who transferred them to middle men who then passed them up the chain and into Mexico.
You wanna blame that on Obama and Holder too?

That is true. America is drilling more oil than we have in a long time. Where you have your facts confused is the huge increase in drilling is occurring on PRIVATE land where the government don’t have the same say as on national property. In fact drilling on government owned land has decreased at an embarrassing rate. We still have a drilling memorandum in the Gulf and Obama has declined the Keystone XL Pipeline. Not only would that have landed much more friendly oil in America, but it would have produced thousands of jobs. Thousands of union jobs.
Shiva(Moderator)
Feb. 18th, 2013 at 9:42 am
you’re going to have to show some facts expect me to believe you.most oil in the United States comes from private land. Leases on public lands have not been taken away.
Secondly the Keystone pipeline would not have created thousands of jobs. In almost all the jobs that would’ve been created would’ve been short term. I think you need to look up the amount of jobs
money.cnn.com/2011/12/13/...
the beauty of the thing is that you have swallowed, is that it would cause Midwest gas prices to go very high. Right now that Canadian oil goes to the Midwest and is refined in the Midwest. The pipeline that you so embarrassingly want would take that oil from the Midwest and taken all the way to Texas to be sold on the world market. I suggest that you do a little more research on the pipeline and the aquifers that it crosses. You are willing to sacrifice American health concerns, American oil prices and probably just about anything else you can sacrifice for the Republican Party for oil company profits that you probably also approve of the subsidization of such. Learn to look past what the Republicans tell you
“In last night’s second Presidential debate, President Obama and Governor Romney had a heated exchange about energy development on public lands. The fact checkers immediately stated that Mr. Romney’s number one statistic — that production of oil on government land is down 14 percent — was misleading. The truth is that oil production on Federal lands is up from the previous administration. But that is far from the full story.”

One thing that people dont understand is this,no matter where you get the oil all of it goes on the world market to be sold. Not the country that drills for it unless you are under sanctions.Even then theres ways around that.Just ask dick cheney

You hate Sarah Palin because she would do everything in her power to shrink the size of the Federal government if she ever got elected. Same with Herman Cain. You targeted his 9-9-9 plan because it lowers the income tax rate on everyone including corporations, thus opening the ability to create more private sector jobs. But, of course, liberals don’t like private sector jobs. They think only higher taxes and governnment and union jobs can stimulate the economy.
