Well, I just looked at my tax returns for the last two years, and on an income of about $30,000, my tax rates were 19% and 17%. Gee, Mitt, wanna help me out here?

Even supposing that this is something we could verify as true, this is something to brag about?

Hey! Willard! I’ve never paid less than 25% in taxes. That’s what I want to SEE from you and all your friends!

As I just tweeted re: the “13%”:

Damned math! Ex: $1k in taxes pd = $7700 taxable basis. But @mittromney’s yrly income is more like $15 mil. Effect rate: .00008%. (twitter.com/WarpdElfAtYrS...)

So, Romney may be deceptively “truthful” at the 13%, but it is only 13% of taxable income. Remember – he had losses galore due to economy crashing.

All the media have to say about this is: “an innocent man doesn’t withhold the proof of his innocence”. When you apply this truism to the situation, YOU KNOW that the Rmoney’s know that there’s something in those returns that would kill Mittens’ chance at being President (pause for laughter), if not put Mittens in federal prison (nearly 150 federal felony counts of false reporting, which would result in a 70+ year federal prison sentence). “An innocent man doesn’t withhold the proof of his innocence….”
