Hey, you freeloaders and victims, You People! There’s more secret video and this time, Mitt Romney says he’d kick the can down the road on Israel. You won’t hear Mitt Romney say this in public, but he thinks peace in the Middle East is impossible and a Palestinian state is not feasible.

Here’s how Mr. Fix It would handle the Middle East: Not to worry, he won’t be pursuing peace, because that might be hard. No, he’s going to (are you hearing a bit o the Palin here or is it just me?): “I look at the Palestinians not wanting to see peace anyway, for political purposes, committed to the destruction and elimination of Israel, and these thorny issues, and I say there’s just no way.”

For those who weren’t sure this was actually Romney, he was also vague and unspecific, while at the same time clueless and helpless, so yes, it really is him talking: “You hope for some degree of stability, but you recognize that this is going to remain an unsolved problem… and we kick the ball down the field and hope that ultimately, somehow, something will happen and resolve it.”

Happy days You Victims! Romney says he is not for war (has Bibi seen this tape yet?): “We don’t go to war to try and resolve it imminently.”

But then we find that this guy really isn’t curious about anything, and we wonder (yet again) why he’s running for President: “On the other hand, I got a call from a former secretary of state. I won’t mention which one it was, but this individual said to me, you know, I think there’s a prospect for a settlement between the Palestinians and the Israelis after the Palestinian elections. I said, ‘Really?’ And, you know, his answer was, ‘Yes, I think there’s some prospect.’ And I didn’t delve into it.”

Of course he didn’t. Why would the hopeful leader of the free world need to know about a prospect for a settlement between the Palestinians and the Israelis? Right?

Romney then proceeded to ramble about Iran and a dirty bomb, proving that he doesn’t understand nuclear weapons, and topped this off by calling the President naive on matters of foreign policy.

This is the kind of leadership we can expect from the man the British compared unfavorably to Sarah Palin. Let’s not forget that Romney’s Israel trip brought us Romney flip flopping back and forth until he landed once again on “naive” President Obama’s position:

Foreign policy adviser Dan Senor previewed Romney’s “foreign policy” speech slated for today, saying that Romney would “respect” Israel in a decision to use military force against Iran, and hours later Romney walks those comments back saying he’s using his own words, but unintentionally quoting President Obama’s stance.

Here’s a preview from Romney’s upcoming Bushian speech, “Make no mistake: The ayatollahs in Tehran are testing our moral defenses. They want to know who will object, and who will look the other way.” Could he be any cheaper? How exactly has the Obama administration looked the other way, and could Romney have evoked the horrors of the past any plainer?

Backtracking on his aide’s announcement of full support for military action against Iran under Romney — specifically he was asked if he was “giving the green light to bomb Iran” — the presumed Republican nominee said, “I’ll use my own words and that is I respect the right of Israel to defend itself and we stand with Israel. We’re two nations that come together in peace and that want to see Iran being dissuaded from its nuclear folly.”

But really, what Romney meant to say, was “and we kick the ball down the field and hope that ultimately, somehow, something will happen and resolve it.”

Mother Jones has a list of probable attendees to the swanky $50,000 a plate May 17 fund raiser held at the house of Marc Leder, who’s best known for his Eyes Wide Shut sex parties. Nothing says I built this so screw alla you like denying the right to food to the masses whilst naked women attend your every need and then charging your guests 50k a plate for dinner just so you can have the privilege of bashing half of America while drooling over the idea of denying them food!

Still, I can’t help feel that these donors are getting majorly ripped off. Do they even realize that Mitt Romney could be replaced by a cardboard cutout of a do-nothing “wimp”? Why are they paying 50k a plate to hear Romney tell them how he’s gonna kick the can on down the road? Inspiring, right?

The good news here is that clearly you can become super rich while being rather shallow and devoid of deep thought. This is clearly not a group of deep thinkers, but more Eyes Wide Shut foreign policy types. They’re paying Mitt Romney to make it all go away, off of their lawn and out of their eye line. They don’t care what happens, so long as it doesn’t impact them. Oh, and they’d rather You Victims didn’t think you were entitled to food. Capiche?
