Let’s Make Rush Limbaugh America’s Biggest Pro-Choice Fundraiser
In response to Rush Limbaugh referring to theme as a death squad, NARAL is urging to donate to the pro-choice cause in Limbaugh’s name. Let’s make Rush Limbaugh America’s top pro-choice donor.
On Wednesday, Rush Limbaugh called Planned Parenthood and NARAL death squads. Limbaugh said, “So they say now in the Huffington Puffington Post that Mitt Romney’s Bain Capital way way back when it was originally founded was seeded with money from Latin American death squads. Let me ask you a question. What the difference in that that and the Democrats being funded and underwritten by Planned Parenthood and NARAL? If they’re not death squads, I don’t know what is. How many abortions every year? 1.73 million or something. Is the kind of stuff they are talking about Sneardly, the way we fight back. Okay so you say Romney’s Bain Capital founded by death squads, although that’s a dubious claim. What do you call Planned Parenthood, if that’s not a death squad? Who could disagree?”
Nancy Keenan, the president of NARAL Pro-Choice America, and her organization have risen to the challenge, “We don’t apologize for fighting every day to elect lawmakers who will protect women’s choice and freedom, and we won’t take Rush’s offensive smears sitting down.”
NARAL is fighting back by urging people to donate to the organization in Rush Limbaugh’s name, “Make a donation to NARAL Pro-Choice America right now in Rush Limbaugh’s name to help us elect a pro-choice majority and protect choice at all levels. Make Rush Limbaugh the biggest fundraiser for pro-choice victories in November. We’ll send Rush a thank you note with your name on it.”
Times are tough and every political cause is looking for cash before this November’s election, but Republicans have already made it clear what they plan to do to women’s health and reproductive rights.
Close your eyes and imagine President Romney surrounded by smiling Republicans signing the bill that takes away a woman’s right to make her own healthcare decisions. Imagine an America where women and men don’t have equal access to healthcare.
Now picture Rush Limbaugh being flooded with thousands of thank you notes for his donations to the pro-choice cause. Imagine President Obama delivering his second inaugural address and discussing his plan to protect and enhance the rights of women, and knowing that this will be a promise kept because dozens of Tea Party congressmen and women lost their seats on Election Night, and were replaced with men and women who will protect women’s healthcare and reproductive rights.
Most of all, wouldn’t it be a great feeling to know that Rush Limbaugh’s misogynistic speech contributed to protecting reproductive and healthcare rights?
Let’s make Rush Limbaugh America’s top pro-choice fundraiser. Isn’t it worth at least a dollar to protect reproductive rights, and see Rush Limbaugh drowning in NARAL thank you notes?
You can donate in Rush Limbaugh’s name here.
If you can’t afford to donate, but would like to support making Rush Limbaugh a champion of the pro-choice movement, please share this story on Facebook, Twitter, and anywhere else you can think of with everybody you know.

what rush fails to tell you is that Republican women get abortions the same as Democratic and independent women do. He fails to mention when Gov. Bush tried to do something about abortions that they rose up in the Republican Party and complained to high heaven about their choice being taken away
Of course now that their husbands or forcing them to be good little baby slaves the women don’t do that anymore they just stay quiet.
Matt and death squads as an equivalent to abortions that all types of women in America take advantage of is pretty incredibly far-fetched. It’s almost like comparing Rush Limbaugh to intelligence
