Rush Limbaugh Claims That Obama Is Sending Him To GITMO

On his radio show today, Rush Limbaugh said that the real reason why Obama is keeping GITMO open is to send him and his listeners there. Limbaugh said, “Let me tell you another reason they are keeping GITMO open. Someday they are going to need a place to put all of us, folks.”

After ranting about how the AP was biased and too kind to Obama in their piece about GITMO staying open, Limbaugh said, “So poor old Obama, our young poor man child president sadly had no choice. No choice what so ever. He had to break his promise. That’s so sad. We have to understand it was a meddling Congress, ladies and gentleman. Poor Obama. So I guess GITMO no longer the source of terrorism recruitment, right? Month after month year after year, story after story repeating the liberal mantra about GITMO. Even McCain took the bait, for crying out loud. Now Obama reverses course. He’s not closing it. Now what about all those terrorists there who will be held indefinitely against their. Let me tell you another reason Snerdly, they’re keeping GITMO open. Someday they’re going to need a place to put all of us, folks.”

Only Rush Limbaugh could take a news story about GITMO and make it about himself. According to Rush, Obama isn’t being forced to keep GITMO open because the Republicans in Congress are blocking the funding that would allow the facility to be closed, and the detainees to be relocated. (This is a fact that is also being conveniently ignored by those on the left who are criticizing Obama for breaking his GITMO promise. Once again, some on the left have forgotten that a president can’t just snap his fingers and make things happen).

Rush, Obama isn’t coming for you or your senior citizen listeners. Obama’s decision to keep GITMO open doesn’t mean that he has changed course and agrees with the right. If the President can’t get the funding, GITMO can’t close. It is as simple as that. Rush Limbaugh’s wild claim that Obama is going to round up the right and send them to GITMO strikes me as a case of projection.

Barack Obama didn’t secretly spy on the American people. It wasn’t Obama who approved the use of torture, and it certainly wasn’t Obama who opened GITMO and other secret detention centers around the globe. All of these things were the handiwork of the Bush administration. As much as many Americans might thank Obama for finding somewhere to put Limbaugh, Beck, and rest of the rowdy crew of right wing traitors in the media, this president doesn’t view the Constitution as an optional guideline that can be ignored at the whim of the White House.

Rush Limbaugh wishes that Obama cared about him enough to send him to GITMO, but Rush has a better chance of committing another drug offense than he does of Obama spending a second of his day thinking about him. The self-important and delusional voices of the right can’t comprehend that Barack Obama doesn’t even care enough to send them to GITMO.

Rush Limbaugh may be a threat to the intelligence of his listeners, but despite his best efforts, he is not a threat to the American people.

While the idea of concentration camps for the great unliked is abhorrent, the idea of Rush Limbaugh being incarcerated in one is simply delightful. If only Limbaugh’s story were true.

Thank you president Obama. That’s right rush, for being blatantly stupid, openly ignorant, incapable of leading your flock in the right direction, openly lying to America, just for you you won two separate gifts.

first of all you have won the fairness doctrine! Of course this really want affect you because of your other gift. You have one an all expense paid trip to Gitmo with any of your followers who are stupid enough to believe you. That’s right rush, you don’t have to worry about fairness there. A daily waterboarding to keep you clean, total indoctrination in the Koran and the Torah just to keep you free from conflict in your mind. You also get a wardrobe of blazing pink underwear and sandals so that you can sign yourself in the dog kennel that will be assigned you. That’s right rush, you will have your very own dog kennel with a concrete floor. the floor plan of your dog kennel includes an arrow painted on the floor showing you which way is East N/A square painted on the floor to show you where to put your blankie. You will also have access to our exercise room. Our toilet facilities including extra wide toilet bowl to facilitate the drowning of a Koran on a daily basis.

Gee, I am with many others on this one. Send that fat lying dope-addict to Gitmo. Limbaugh is a joke except there are millions of morons who hang on his every word. Yeah, the more I contemplate it, the cooler it sounds. I agree with Sarah’s comment on making him take the Magic Negro Song and playing it 24/7. Great article.

That would be a good place for him on so many levels. For one thing, we wouldn’t have to listen to his mindless, hateful drivel. For another, the inevitable weight loss that would come with a restricted diet would be healthful to him. Then he could also detox from the drugs that obviously muddle his simple mind.
It couldn’t happen to a more deserving excuse for a human being.

It never ceases to amaze me just how ready you all are with your vicious comebacks and retorts. You lie in wait.. anticipating your next chance to post your hilarious and oh-so-witty text assault (yes, I am being facetious here, so bear with me).
If any of you even read this and – actually address – what it is that I am saying here I will be absolutely awe-stricken.
Now this may seem like a ridiculous idea, but once again I’ll ask you to bear with me here…
Maybe, just maybe, do you think Limbaugh may have been, oh I don’t know, slight sarcastic in his remarks about GITMO?
Wait! Before you get all riled up and ready to flame me, I have yet another question:
Do any of you actually think Limbaugh really believes Obama is keeping GITMO open for the express purpose of locking Limbaugh and his listeners up? Really? Do you?
Because most of us (human beings), I assume, have an ear for this crazy thing called sarcasm. Oh, but wait a second, you didn’t actually listen to the show, you only read a transcript, which, of course, may or may not be accurate anyway! And surely poor little you just couldn’t pick up on this sarcasm that his words were practically dripping with. But hey, I guess you guys can’t be expected to think to hard… oh, sorry, I forgot, you have an agenda to attend to, you don’t really care about truth or accuracy… just keep smearing away little Liberal sheepies!
I’ll just leave you to your smears and silly, immature attacks.
Maybe one day you go do something productive with your lives… like say, getting an education, finding a job, …SOMETHING. Something besides sitting around lashing out at those who think for themselves and mindlessly praising your Liberal nanny-state government.

  I think you are the one who has a lot to learn. When Limbaugh says something like Obama is keeping Gitmo open to put Limbaugh him, it’s not sarcasm. It’s for mindless beings to believe. I have Artie seen several posts on right-wing sites that declare that Obama for sure is going to put Limbaugh into Gitmo. Rush Limbaugh does not do sarcasm he does propaganda. One would think with your vast knowledge of looking down on people you would be able to figure that out.
