Sarah Palin Claims Innocence of Muslims Video Doesn’t Really Exist
In a desperate attempt to blame President Obama for the violence in the Middle East, Sarah Palin claimed that the Innocence of Muslims is a phantom video.
Here is the video of Palin on Hannity via Fox News:
Watch the latest video at video.foxnews.com
SEAN HANNITY, HOST: We are putting this administration and their reaction in the Mideast under scrutiny. Now, this is the same administration that coined the term overseas contingency operation, and they were referring to man-caused disasters, if you remember those words, when talking about acts of terror. They now appear to be buying into a narrative that the trailer for a low-budget anti-Muslim film is actually responsible for the chaos in the streets in the Middle East, hence their apology yesterday. Yet again today, before taking the time to condemn the ongoing violence or the death of the U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens, the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, chose instead to rant about a phantom movie that may or may not exist. Watch this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
HILLARY CLINTON, SECRETARY OF STATE: The United States government had absolutely nothing to do with this video. We absolutely reject its content and message.
This video is disgusting and reprehensible. It appears to have a deeply cynical purpose, to denigrate a great religion and to provoke rage.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HANNITY: Now, keep in mind, her movie critique came before she bothered to denounce the widespread vandalism, the arson, the gunfire, the Molotov cocktails that are being directed at U.S. interests abroad.
Now sadly, both what she and the president failed to recognize is the fact that the radical Islamists who are seeing protesting right there on that screen, they are not reacting to some movie. They haven’t even seen this movie. These are anti-American extremists who are hell-bent on the destruction of this country. They are burning our flag, they are chanting “Death to America” and they even spray-painted the name Usama bin Laden on the entrance to our embassy in Cairo.
And not to even mention the fact that all of this began on the anniversary of September the 11th. Uh, do you not have a clue that this somehow might be connected? Now, I usually ask the question, can you afford four more years when speaking about the economy. But the events of this week, they raise even more red flags about the ability of this president to lead this nation during very difficult times.
Here with more on all of this, Fox News contributor, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. Governor, welcome back to the program.
I really have to contain my anger, Governor, because here, our embassy is attacked. Our flag is ripped down. They’re chanting for Usama bin Laden, they’re chanting, no God but Allah, on our property. We give this country $2 billion a year. And then for the first 10 to 16 hours, we go out and apologize? Can you explain that to me?
SARAH PALIN, FOX NEWS CONTRIBUTOR: Yes, Sean. We have to ask ourselves, and I sure wish that reporters would ask our president, how much longer can we afford to spill our blood and treasure, trying to quote/unquote, “promote democracy” in places that do not have any values for a civilized society, values like respecting minorities and women’s rights and independent judiciary and rule of law? How much longer do we now support and fund Sharia democracy?
Now, as for this film, as you mentioned in your intro there, that is a red herring and the media is going along with some in the Obama administration, pretending like this is a protest against some phantom video on YouTube? No. It’s because the Obama administration dropped the ball. And they have not taken head-on this war on terror, and they have adopted a foreign policy of appeasement where our enemies no longer fear us and our friends can no longer trust us.
HANNITY: This is — yes.
PALIN: And the media’s going along with this idea, this false narrative of this video being the cause of this chaos.
The problem for Palin is that the video does exist. It isn’t a phantom video at all. In fact, you can watch it right here. Of course, the video can’t exist because it appears that the people behind the video are extremist right wing Christians, just like Palin herself. This little bit of information has to be overlooked by Sarah Palin, Sean Hannity, and Fox News, because how can they blame Obama for this when part of their own base was responsible for the video?
It is not just Sarah Palin. The entire right systemically ignores their responsibility for everything in order to blame Obama. Paul Ryan routinely criticizes Obama for the economy and deficit while ignoring his own role in obstructing the president’s agenda. Mitt Romney has built his entire presidential campaign around blaming Obama.
Any evidence to the contrary is ignored. It is always Obama’s fault.
Sarah Palin’s comments demonstrate how desperate the right has gotten. The wheels have completely come off the Romney campaign, so all they are left with creating a false reality and hoping that America takes a couple of hits of Elephant Acid and comes along for the trip.
Unlike Sarah Palin’s hair the video is real, and the only phantom at work here is the invisible hand of Roger Ailes that is performing CPR on the rapidly expiring Romney campaign.
On Hannity, Sarah Palin attacked Occupy Wall Street protesters as ill informed. The problem is that she ...

The movie itself may be the phantom. It appears that the whole point was to produce the inflammatory *trailer* in order to provoke incidents on 9/11.

Agreed. There are “rumors” that this whole deal was much to “clean” in it’s execution, too well-time, no one knows who put out the trailer, the actors did not know what they were being asked to do, that this whole thing has “finger prints” all over it…and they look like Karl Rove’s…

why are you listening to these two dimwits in the first place?-just because the bimbo from Alaska can see Russia from her house, doesn’t make her qualified to speak about foreign policy. Sean Hannity,a college dropout, and former construction worker ( which, btw, is an insult to ALL construction workers ) are discussing issues far above their collective heads, does not make this news. The fact that he refers to the President, as “Obama “, and to Palin as “Governor”, tells you right away how foolish this guy is-enough of the stupidity , let’s hear some real news!

We should know the lies their being fed…so we can shine the truth & wake them up.
Go read what the Right-Wing is reading…’Comment’ with fact/truth so we can clear their muddy brainwashed thinking and help them to understand.

“…how much longer can we afford to spill our blood and treasure, trying to quote/unquote, “promote democracy” in places that do not have any values for a civilized society?”
Palin the quitter again prescribes a healthy dose of cut-and-run … what happens when Sister Sarah, the tundra terrorist, discovers that it’s difficult to transition these beaten-down people to a fuller democratic mindset? Why, you simply give up on them in less than a year.
That’s her life pattern. Tough sledding? Pack up and leave.

In truth, it doesn’t exist. It was filmed as “Desert Warriors”, with no mention of Islam or Mohammad until it was later dubbed in. Now, how does she know that? I am positive the money behind this came from one or more of Romney’s backers in an attempt to find something to derail Obama. Another thing – Romney was pretty quick to blame Obama for this, as if he had the speech ready for use at the right moment. Who knows….

Indeed, I think that not only was the provocation planned, but I call it highly likely that, co-ordinating with that, some grotty private military contractor infiltrated a militant group and arranged and provoked the attack. A *certain smile* was eloquent of a Machiavellian who thinks his ploy has gone off perfectly.

Once again Hannity dangles red meat in front of the rabid pitbull that is Sarah Palin.
Dressed in a rather fetching shower curtain and wearing Todd’s latest RoadKill on her head, Sarah waxed and waned her usual incoherent nonsense while simultaneously performing a “ethernet” handjob on Hannity the Manatee.

Ohmygod…You go to the head of the class and get an “A” for descriptive reality writing…
Truth be told, Mittens and the GOP need “the actress” to emote and drive the base. Mittens is a very lousy actor. Herself however, well, she’s the girl that “brings it” to the party. Bottom line–he needs her right now to fan the flames no matter how ridiculous she and eth Hannity-wipe look and sound.
And you can just her Hannity saying, “Faster, Sara, faster, harder, blow…the flames…”.

What, exactly, is she wearing? Is that a shower curtain? As for what she said, well, suffice it to say, little Sarah has learned very little since her campaign days.
Totally Disgusted
Sep. 14th, 2012 at 5:37 pm
First of all, I find it offensively, annoying for Mr. Hannity to keep referring to Mrs. Palin as “governor. ” She is NOT a governor. If you want to introduce her as the “former governor” that is allowed, (although, it seems that someone who quit the job halfway through their term barely qualifies). To bestow a title on someone who is no longer in office, is not only improper protocol, it shows total disrespect for the current office holder.
Having said that, I also take umbrage with Mrs. Palins’ outrage at countries that “…do not have uh, any, values for a civilized societies, values like respecting minorities and women’s rights and independent judiciary and rule of law..” when she is doing her best to deprive minorities, GLBT citizens and women of their rights here in the United States! Such hypocrisy makes it hard to take anything she says seriously. Even when she is elevated to a higher status and authority than she deserves.
I can’t even find the words to address the other ridiculous assertions in this interview.
Reynardine
Sep. 15th, 2012 at 4:01 pm
As a matter of courtesy, if an officeholder has completed a term without quitting untimely or being removed, you address them by the title, even if you run a chyron saying “former…” or “…emeritus”. Palin, however, just walked away from her office.

I cannot imagine for the life of me why ANYONE would want to hear anything from her ever again. She just did it again – all kinds of words fairly dripping with condescension and hostility not just for Obama, but for danged near every ME country, except, of course, Israel. Both of them fairly twisted into pretzels to find the path through to blaming everything on Pres Obama. Honestly, I simply do not see how anyone can watch this stuff.

Go troll elsewhere. Everyone knows Breitbart edits videos. What did you have to say about the dozen times our embassies were attacked during the Bush administration? As usual Hannity & Palin “forget” the history of the GOP. Only RW idiots would buy the idea that “Bush kept us safe for 7 years”. Sure he did, right AFTER we lost 3K people on his watch here in the U.S. Why wouldn’t he and Cheney testify under oath before the 9/11 Commission? Also why wouldn’t they testify individually? Were they worried they would get their stories mixed up?

Well this is a perfect interveiw, Hannity, and Palin, with a combined I.Q. smaller than her breast size, which by the way was the only reason that the majority of people were interested in her, but even that support is now slipping, in a lot of different ways. They should both have pemanent housing, down by Cuba. They are not only not smart enough to understand, the problems they create, with there, self serving lies, they dont care that they do, causerealpeople, real problems.

The Associated Press is all over this video and the account it was posted from. The suspect has a criminal history of financial fraud. He is not to use a computer during his current term of parole – so a parole officer will soon be looking into this. As in the case of Watergate, all we have to do is wait while investigators follow the money.
No matter what the GOP thinks they learned from Watergate – money always leaves a trail. Especially when faced with long prison terms – people will usually still chose freedom over a promise of money.
Projection and lies are all the conservatives have left to offer. To tell the truth would mean the end of their party and any chance for a conservative to win even a local election. The truth is: their theories have been proven as dismal failures for the majority of citizens. The only beneficiaries are the 1%ers. And they can only continue to buy votes through misinformation for only a few more election cycles.

Sean Hannity is talking as if there has never been ME violence against the US. The violence has gone on for over 30 years as the Iran embassy kidnapping occurred in ’79, just before Reagan took office. And much violence and death occurred in our embassies in Kenya and Tanzania in the ’90′s all culminating in 9/11. So it’s clear he and Palin are doing nothing other than bloviating, as Hannity’s Fox News cohort, Bill O’Reilly, likes to say. How anyone could stand a job where they just make things up, and blather on and on about nothing of any consequence, and invite someone else to join them, is beyond me!

I think the FBI should launch a complete investigation into this piece of film. There has to be a crime here besides the making of this movie itself which is laughable.I think treason sedition and murder are some of the charges that apply. It also wouldn’t surprised if the Romney campaign is somehow complicit in this whole nasty bit of business. These people are willing to do anything to regain power and obviously they have no moral compass to guide them.Free speech only goes so far.Let the axe fall and the chips land where they may.

The easiest way to solve a problem is to deny its existence.
In fact, the protests are indeed against the U.S. government — and therefore by extension, the Obama Administration — but not due to administration Middle East policy, per se.
Rather, the anger is the result of an American-made video which the Middle East Muslim populace believes is sanctioned by the U.S. government.
The fundamental problem is that many foreign cultures do not understand the extent to which our society protects Freedom of Speech, even heinous videos that could easily have been predicted to anger much of the Islamic World. And since the U.S. government did not ban the video, this is unfortunately interpreted as sanctioning the video, despite the condemnations made by government and diplomatic officials.
But since reality doesn’t mesh with the revisionist history provided by Palin and Hannity, they simply opted to deny its existence.

Maybe I have missed it, but I have yet to see the video. Until someone can prove it’s existence, I have to believe it doesn’t exist. Without that, many will assume that this video story to be a veil to conceal something else. I did see the president of Libya deny it’s responsibility for the terrorist attack on NBC news. If someone can tell me where viewing is available please reply.
