WRONG,
Furthermore historians from Boston U verified her version.
Do you silly libs ever read anything you don’t already agree with?

I believe heading into 2012 your talking points are supposed to veer away from mockery and “silly libs” and into pretending to be Obama Democrats who are dissatisfied. Didn’t you get the memo?

Uh, no. Historians did no such thing. You might want to go back and read what they said without the Faux News spin on it. They said after Revere was captured he gave the British false information. He did not warn them of anything. The historians noted that Palin was clearly not referring to Revere’s statements after being captured and that she was most definitely not “right” in any way, shape or form. Palin’s assertion was that the intent of Revere’s ride was to “warn the British” in some ridiculous chest thumping macho declaration. It couldn’t be farther from the truth and she could not be more divorced from reality.
Thatcher’s aide had it right. Palin is nuts.

Any textbook or encyclopedia article will tell you he was warning the american colonists of the incoming british forces, “one if by land, two if by sea”? Maybe you “silly cons” can’t admit when your media darling gets it wrong?

“…Verified her version”.
You mean this?: “A history professor acknowledges that Revere warned the British of the Americans’ mobilization, and adds that Palin was right about church bells ringing and warning shots being fired, too. Even so, he thinks she was mostly just ‘lucky in her comments,’ he says. The Paul Revere House’s research director notes that Revere was probably bluffing when he talked to the Brits, but concedes that his words could be taken as a warning. ‘But,’ he adds, ‘I don’t know if that’s really what Mrs. Palin was referring to.’ ”
No one does.

She’s like a cat with 9000 lives, I keep thinking she’s finally finished herself off, and she keeps rising back up. Will someone please finally reveal some devastating info that will put her out of commission for good? I know it’s out there, why won’t someone speak up? She scares me in that she reminds me so much of the politician in Stephen King’s “The Dead Zone”. Can’t someone trick her into showing her true colors once and for all? Not suggesting someone try to do what the protagonist tried in that story, but isn’t there some way to get her to reveal herself?

You know who she reminds me of? Jason (I believe it was Jason) in ‘Friday the 13th’. My husband loved that show and I hated it but only having one room at the time I heard most of it. No matter how many times Jason was killed or put away, he came back again. That is what I could not stand then and that is what I cannot stand now about Palin.

Well you have to look at this way, at least she’s being exposed to her own mistakes. The real part is having a politician make all kinds of mistakes without any exposure. I would say that is much scarier than what Sara Palin could dish out.

I don’t think the Republicans ever took Palin seriously, they were too embarrassed to admit what a fool she is.

There is some truth there! LOL! I think with her initial blaze of fame, many sheep followed her, and now they’re just too embarassed to admit they made a mistake. Then there is the small faction that actually still believes the crap she spews, and will defend her to the death, no matter how absurd the statements she makes. It’s really quite a show!

This idiot has no pride. She will run because she says god picked her to run. Of course she’ll have to square that away with Bachman because that idiot thinks god picked her to. Funny thing is the more these 2 idiots talk and talk and talk people will never take them seriously. They will be wasting their money. Both are drunk for power.

No, the frightening thing is that kids are already packed 50 to a room, America is barely in the top 10 in education anymore, illiteracy is so prevalent that they have to put pictures on the cash register buttons now, and conservatives STILL think we’re wasting money on education. I’m all for my Ois learning the constitution, I’m just hoping he learns all those other little things first, like math, reading, etc.

Interesting – Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote the poem “Paul Revere’s Ride,” glorifying the silversmith for warning all of New England of the approaching British. BUT – Revere only rode about 16 miles total. Another man, Israel Bissell, was the one who rode from Pennsylvania all the way to North Carolina.
Don’t misunderstand, Sarah is WRONG. It’s just that many people get their history from legends and not from true primary sources.
I’ll bet a high percentage of people still believe Columbus made his voyage to prove the world was round.

The problem with Palin is not that she is wrong.
The problem with Palin is that she is almost completely incoherent. She says things that sound like they couldn’t possibly be correct, but they are so confused that you can’t really say for sure.
Almost everything she says COULD be true if you looked at it in a certain way. Intelligent people normally use language as a way to *reduce* ambiguity.
When Sarah Palin speaks, it is like a string of seemingly random words and thoughts all squished together.
Is it right?
It’s not even wrong. It’s too confused to be wrong.

I totally doubt that she has a “Communications” degree. Perhaps she got a thesaurus for Christmas one year, picked out and memorized a few 50 cent words, but never learned how to put them together in some sort of coherent structure. And then she forgot a few of those words she’d memorized and came up with ones that seemed to sound the same.

Just finished reading “Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin” by her long-time “aide” Frank Bailey. If you haven’t read it yet, do it. This book (as written by someone totally in awe of her) bolstered my initial belief that she is a phony. He went into her world convinced she was the savior only to find out that what you see – is indeed – what your get. She doesn’t know how to accept she’s made a mistake and in many instances made things worse because of it. Even he says she’s not fit to be anywhere close to the Whitehouse.

I have to shake my head in utter disbelief that after all of her well-documented and televised gaffes, it took her being both wrong and incoherent about Paul Revere to turn even more conservatives off from Palin. It’s a sad commentary that it took these folks nearly 3 years to acknowledge what has been painfully obvious about Palin ever since 2008, when she made her speech at the GOP Convention. The “interview” with Katie Couric, the subperformance at the “debate” with Joe Biden, and her misstatements about the value of fruit fly research and FNMA, were only the first of many blunders. As time went on, it never got better, with her comment about “Death Panels” being voted biggest political lie of 2009, and her being picked as biggest misinformer of 2010. Then of course, we have the Blood Libel speech of 2011, along with the doubling down of stupid on Paul Revere. That doesn’t even include other doozies like North Korea being one of our allies. The folks who still insist on believing in her are the very ones consumed with such hatred of President Obama tht it clouds their judgment.

Everything Sarah Palin does and is, is calculative. She not only discredits the media, with this story she drew attention to how little we as Americans know about our country.
