The Sons and Daughters of Liberty: Anonymous
As technology rages on, every part of our lives are dependent upon codes written by programmers who ship vital programs such as food, water, medical, educational and other vital programs. These programs are dependent upon technology in our daily lives. Our rights are even dependent upon the technology we have. Voting has become dependent upon technology as an enforcement of our rights.
Right now the use of the Internet is at its infancy and is steadily growing around our everyday life. Yet there are those who would use technology to skew it to their individual greediness. We saw this during the elections as when Karl Rove thought that Governor Mitt Romney took Ohio. Then the hacktivist group Anonymous said that they prevented the same digital flub like in 2004.
So who are these people that they call Anonymous? Who are these new patriots who don’t carry a rifle and scream the British are coming? To all intents and purposes they are our safety mechanisms. These are our checks and balances by which they thwart evildoers like the puppet corporations that took control of the Republican Party.
Checks and balances are the eyes and ears of free election as well as freedom which Karl Rove may have discovered the night of the Presidential election. First the warning to Karl Rove then the response just after the election:

There are many who are saying Anonymous had nothing to do with the voting system for the Presidential election of 2012. In my opinion as of writing this piece, Karl Rove seemed to slink back into the darkness. If Anonymous did this could there be other actions they are interested in?
After combing through chats and message boards; it seems that Anonymous has their eyes on Israel which could lead to a possible attack on Iran. The neo-conservatives in Israel may decide to attack Iran because of their nuclear power plants. If this happens neo-conservatives in Israel, Anonymous or some group similar to them will attempt to end this. What is Israel doing? According to Haaretz:
Israeli hackers bring down Saudi, UAE stock exchange websites
Apparently the Israeli military is preparing to counter any cyber-attack upon Israel and proceed with their plans. But their plans may have holes. According to Anonymous, they have hacktivists in every continent on this planet. There are hacktivists in Asia, Africa, Europe, Australia and the Americas as well as hacktivists in every branch of government.Israel also has it’s hacktivists too. It is unknown if there are hacktivists in Antarctic.
They are willing to take down the military infrastructure to prevent war between the two nations. This will clog up their systems so no one dies. Many of the hacktivists are also from Israel and feel that any potential war between both countries will end in casualties of innocent lives.
No one, according to various hacktivists are immune to Anonymous. Any country who may preemptively attack any nation without cause according to posts and blogs will collectively put an end to it.
Many are keeping an eye on what is happening between Anonymous and Israel. If war does break out it would be interesting to see how the end-result will turn out. My advice? Try peace.

If indeed they did this, we owe them a debt of gratitude. The Republicans were so arrogant in displaying what they thought of us and what they planned to to us, I had the clear impression they didn’t think they needed our *real* votes. Well…

Having studied networking and understanding what they were doing…backed up with specific information they put in their message…they certainly did what they claimed. We have our democracy to thank them for.
Now…if the persons Rove stole the money from for Willard would let him dangle in the wind as revenge for screwing them…that would be a plus-plus for this country.

It is time that Rove and his co-conspiritors stood trial for serious federal felonies.

I note I misspelled “conspirators”, but “conspiritors” describes them better: partakers in an Evil Spirit.

I showed that video to an Anonymous member, and he laughed and sent me a /facepalm montage graphic, declaring it to be fake. He is not part of the hacking branch of the community, so he may have been misinformed, but I agree that it doesn’t match their usual style.
Are we sure they did, or were responsible?

Ignia, that’s why I don’t say it’s Anonymous per se. Anonymous is a collective hacktivist group and not an organization. Like Occupy, there are sub-groups or Affinities that calls upon fellow hacktivists and they are anonymous. There is no Anonymous group, no leaders, no bylaws, nothing. There a bunch of activists who are very talented with computers.

I’m still waiting to see the evidence they said they would turn over to WikiLeaks! I really want to see it and then see Rove go down big time.

I watched their video before the election (actually posted the link here) and at that time, Annon. said they would turn Rove over to authorities if they caught him attempting to use his “little boys and girls”…have they?
And if they have, how would we know? This is a wait and see moment.

My greatest concern is –would Obama prosecute? Or would he look ‘forward’ as he did with W’s warcrimes?

Fox kept telling the secessionist knotheads it was in the bag because they were told the fix was in by who? Rove himself. In the words of Don Imus, ‘they’re gonna love that fat boy in jail.’

For a long time I thought that the republicans were just too smug to be real. Rove was utterly confident that Romney would take certain states and was obviously dumbfounded when he didn’t. The people who were not in on the joke seen going the other way.
I am not sure if I believe that there are even is an Anonymous group, but if there is it was awful nice of them to stop rove.
Off they can only get private Manning I would appreciate it

I wonder about that terribly private lunch between the President and Romney. Why could no one witness it? Was there some type of ultimatum?

I worry about that lunch. President Obama makes a mistake every time he reaches out to the enemies of freedom in this country. You can’t negotiate or compromise with slave masters. They only have one goal… and it’s not good for the rest of humanity.
If he did lay down an ultimatum, I hope it leads to the destruction of the Republicans.
I also wish that Anonymous would go after (1) the hackers who keep releasing viruses and malware into the internet. The b*st*rds put my education in jeopardy because their cr*p infected my wife’s computer – taking two full (12 hour plus) days I couldn’t afford to spend from my papers to get her going (so she could work). It would be poetic justice if they’d destroy the computers of those who write that cr*p (it was some sort of intelligent virus that even tried to block reformatting and reloading Windows – I won’t say how I finally killed it because I don’t want to give the b*st*rds a clue as to their virus’ weakness).
(2) I wish they WOULD release the information to the appropriate authorities – to someone who would do something. It would be nice to see some justice for once.
(3) I wish they’d go after the damned dominionists – get into their “spiritual mapping” project and the databases that have been documented on Talk2Action. It would be good to see their shenanigans exposed for the world to see.
(4) I’d also love to see some help dealing with the mysterious “black hole” that some people (including myself) deal with… important emails and messages vanishing or arriving hours – to MONTHS – late and which ISPs, email providers, and others cannot explain.
Anonymous sounds like a decent organization, especially if the Republicans and the government they’ve created doesn’t like them.

Rove’s meltdown reminded me of that line from the Goon Show adventure “Dishonoured – Again” (Series 9, Episode 13), originally broadcast on January 26, 1959.
“SEAGOON: The gold I stole, stolen? The thief! Which way did he go?”
