It seems completely illogical that the state can argue that a reduction in education funding was necessitated by the downturn in the economy and the state’s diminishing resources and at the same time cut taxes further.

The first part of Bill O’Reilly interview with Jon Stewart aired on FNC’s The O’Reilly Factor tonight, and when the topic to turned to Fox News’ balance Stewart said, “I think Fox in and of yourselves say that you are not a news organization all day…” Stewart consistently turned the tables on O’Reilly.
Tonight on FNC’s The O’Reilly Factor, Laura Ingraham called out host Bill O’Reilly for gushing over Michelle Obama, and when she asked Bill-O if he ate an acorn cookie at the White House, O’Reilly got annoyed and called her a blind ideologue and Kool-Aid drinker who won’t admit when someone is nice to her.
On his MSNBC program Countdown host Keith Olbermann got on the subject of liberal media bias while discussing Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly’s outrage at being mentioned on Law and Order: SVU. Olbermann said, “There is no liberal media. The media which is after all owned by corporations naturally leans to the right.”
If it is the holiday season it is time for Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly to revive his charge that secular progressives have declared war on Christmas, but interestingly while hyping Dick Morris’ book, O’Reilly declared that it would make a great, “Christmas/holiday/ Hanukkah book.” Has Bill-O abandoned the war on Christmas?
Glenn Beck was on FNC’s The O’Reilly Factor on Friday, where he continued to spread lies and falsehoods about the healthcare reform bill. Beck is still claiming that under the bill, people who don’t buy insurance will face jail time. This is not true. The penalty for not buying insurance is an additional tax. No one will go to jail.
Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly, Glenn Beck, and Sean Hannity have all given rousing endorsements to ABC’s revival of the show V. All three of the FNC personalities claim that the show is a political statement against Obama and healthcare reform. Ironically enough, all three also made their claims on the exact same day. I smell a talking point here.
Rep. Michele Bachmann was on FNC’s The O’Reilly Factor last night, where she indulged in one of O’Reilly’s favorite hobbies, attacking MSNBC. O’Reilly said that the left is after Bachmann, and she replied, “So now it’s like I almost have personal stalkers, only they have TV shows…”
Tonight on his Fox News program The O’Reilly Factor host Bill O’Reilly joined several other conservatives in distancing themselves from those who cheered when it was announced that Chicago’s 2016 bid to host the Olympics had failed. O’Reilly said that their reaction was strange because he thought the Olympics could bring some prosperity.
While the rest of Fox News is bashing President Obama for his trip to Denmark to lobby for Chicago to win the right to host the 2016 Olympics, Bill O’Reilly and Ann Coulter both said on O’Reilly’s FNC show that the trip is no big deal. O’Reilly said, “It is not a big deal. He can work on Air Force One coming and going and they got everything else.”
On his show last night FNC’s Bill O’Reilly endorsed the public option element of healthcare reform. O’Reilly said, “If the government can cobble together a cheaper insurance policy that gives the same benefits, I see that as a plus for the folks.” So does this mean that in Glenn Beck’s mind, Bill O’Reilly is now a socialist?
Bill O’Reilly had Glenn Beck on his FNC program tonight for what could best be described as a tag team effort to discredit the Color of Change boycott of advertisers on Beck’s show. O’Reilly claimed that the boycott was being carried out by “left wing loons.” Beck blamed Van Jones, and the commies in the Obama administration.
On his FNC show tonight Bill O’Reilly declared that the government does not have the right to force a person to buy health insurance. After asking for the definition of the Commerce Clause O’Reilly said, “This is total BS. This is why people hate lawyers. This is nuts.” Bill-O, constitutional scholar, thinks the constitution and the Commerce Clause are BS.
Media critic Howard Kurtz used a segment of his CNN show Reliable Sources today to discuss the Jon Stewart/Bill O’Reilly feud. Kurtz said that there was a valid point to Stewart’s criticism of O’Reilly. Some Fox News hosts have flipped from bashing liberal anti-Bush protesters to supporting conservative anti-Obama protesters.
On his FNC show The O’Reilly Factor last night, host Bill O’Reilly went after Jon Stewart when The Daily Show host used a segment Wednesday night to illustrate FNC’s ever changing opinion of protesters to make the claim that FNC has gone liberal. This joke set O’Reilly on the attack as he went on to claim that Stewart was playing to his liberal audience.
Tonight on his FNC show The O’Reilly Factor host Bill O’Reilly weighed in on the feud between Keith Olbermann and Lou Dobbs. O’Reilly ignored Dobbs’ attacks on Olbermann, while claiming that NBC and Olbermann were attacking Lou Dobbs’ family. Bill-O managed to weave this all into his vast NBC conspiracy theory too. On his FNC program The O’Reilly Factor host Bill O’Reilly debunked CNN’s Lou Dobbs birther talk about Barack Obama, but argued that Dobbs should not be fired. First Coulter and now O’Reilly, the Republican is media is running full sprint away from the birthers.
Last night on his FNC show The O’Reilly Factor host Bill O’Reilly claimed that Michael Jackson wasn’t an African American icon because he bleached his skin and has white children. O’Reilly asked, “If he is such a black American icon, why did he have his kids with white men?”
Speaking by satellite to the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama slammed his opponent John McCain for voting against education funding.
