A Teamsters Human Shield To Block Westboro Baptist Boston Bombing Victim Funeral Protest
At the request of some Medford residents, Teamsters Local 25 will be forming a human shield at the funeral of Krystle Campbell to block a planned protest by the Westboro Baptist Church.
In a press release the Westboro Baptist Church announced they would protest the funeral of Boston Marathon bombing victim Krystle Campbell,
GOD SENT THE BOSTON MARATHON BOMBS!
WBC TO PICKET MEMORIAL FOR KRYSTLE CAMPBELL AT ST. JOSEPH, 118 HIGH STREET, MEDFORD, MA ON MONDAY, APRIL 22 FROM 9:15 – 10:00 AM Antichrist Rebel-in-chief Barack Obama comforted you in the sin of same-sex marriage when he announced his support for it. He declared himself to be a fierce advocate for fags and told of his eagerness to kill his own grandchild if it should be a burden to one of his daughters. He fast-tracked this train of DOOM when he – the most powerful man in the world – threw his presidential hat into the fag marriage ring! He is chiefly to blame for bringing down the wrath of God on Boston, on Massachusetts and on USA. He vows that those responsible for the Boston Marathon Bombs would feel the full weight of justice. Hello, Mr. Pervert-in-chief! GOD SENT THE BOMBS!And guess what, Antichrist? You can’t fight against God! You will lose! You & your father the devil will lose and be cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. (Rev. 19:20.) Your callous, defiant sin now leaves 3 dead & more dying, with dozens wounded and millions terrified in its wake. HEAR YE THE ROD AND WHO HATH APPOINTED IT, USA! (Mic. 6:9.) WBC will remind you at every opportunity that God is your enemy & fights against you!THANK GOD FOR THE BOSTON MARATHON BOMBS!
Teamsters Local 25 was contacted by some residents of Medford who were concerned about the Westboro Baptist Church’s planned funeral protest.
Local 25 President Sean O’Brien asked all off-duty Teamsters to participate:
Teamsters Local 25 will be out in full force tomorrow morning at St. Joseph’s Church in Medford to form a human shield and block the Westboro Baptist Church from protesting the funeral of Krystle Campbell. The Campbell family and friends have already endured immeasurable amounts of heartache and tragedy this week, and deserve a peaceful funeral with time to grieve privately.
Westboro Baptist Church should understand that we will go to great lengths to make sure they don’t protest any funerals of the victims of the past week’s tragedies, and that those we lost receive a proper burial.
If the Westboro Baptist Church thought they had it tough when 300 bikers showed up to stop them from protesting at the funerals of the Joplin tornado victims in 2011, they are in for bigger problems if even a fraction of the 11,000 members of Local 25 show up to help.
The Southern Poverty Law Center has referred to the WBC as the most obnoxious and rabid hate group in America. However, their hate is no match for the strength and power of a unified community determined to overcome the heinous act that took the life of Krystle Campbell one week ago.
If the Westboro Baptist Church wants to spread their vile hate, they are going to have to go through Teamsters Local 25 first.
Hate is hate, whether it is spread by two bombers, or ugly bigots warping and hiding behind religion.
No matter what package it comes in, hate will never win.

Someone should drop a bomb on the WBC then we’d know that god was really getting rid of people that waste earth’s resources.

I opt for a drone strike to wipe them off the planet. They are a waste of space, full of hate and evil.

I think they’re all going to die off of natural causes in the next few years, and the younger ones will renounce the “church”.

I wonder when these people take the time to talk about their God of love? Is there a God of love and the West Pearl church? Is there a God of wrath? If there was why is this Earth still in one piece?
I would think this is funny because I can’t take them seriously except for the fact that I see similar BS on my Facebook page from some of southern Baptist’s that I used to work with. And some of the people in Michigan I used to work with who are all diehard Christian Republicans. God does this, God does that, guns over life at all costs. That doesn’t mean that there are some good Republican Christians that I know who only talk about God’s love, but they are pretty heavily outweighed by the fanatics.
if this God of wrath is so desperate to have people bow down to him, and if he hates so many people, why aren’t the Westboro Baptist Church the chosen people? I mean after all, all the Israelites do is kill people. They’re not really haters

The Westboro Baptist Church is not only a hate group, it is a cult.

I hold the opinion that most, if not all, religious groups are cults.

The WBC are a bunch of hypocrites! Who the heck are they to judge anybody, that’s up to God! “Judge not least ye be judge”! “Let he who be without sin cast the first stone”! They also don’t not know what democracy means! They should butt out of people’s business and mind their own Damn business!

Wow. God has His hnds full with this crew, doesn’t he? One would think that (1) if God was in control and thought President Obama was the sinner they say he is, we would now have President Mitt and be bombing all over the ME, and (2) if they are so sure there is a hell for sinners, they’d better be looking into forgiveness pretty soon themselves. They and every GOP zealot I know!

These WBC people judge others like it’s their job. Well it isn’t. It is up to God alone to judge. What about the love and forgiveness of God. What about “he who is without sin cast the first stone.” They go around the country judging others like it’s their job. Those innocent people were brutally killed in Boston because of evil and nothing else. God does not make pressure cooker bombs and kill innocent children. Shut up and go home!

The leader of the WBC is truly a very sick twisted deeply closeted man who seems to spend his days obsessing about gays and sex.

I am a Christian and it DEEPLY saddens me that people would do such a thing especially in the name of “Christian”!! The Jesus I know would not be a part of such hatered!! The church wonders why people more people don’t join the church, well why would they when all they see is hate!!! We as Christians are supposed to spread his message of truth and love NOT HATRED!!! It’s okay for them to have an opionion about why they think the things in this world are happened but to commit a sin (NOT LOVING THY NEIGHBOR) such as this is just as damaging as the one they are fighting against!! Jesus loves all his children and to disprespect the funeral of one of them will have it’s effects on these church memebers. I will be praying for all involved….

Well done Teamsters. Show those nutjobs that they will never be able to bully the dead. And to those cultists, have you no shame? You guys make Dzokhar look sympathetic by comparison.

You do realize that WBC standard operating procedure is to not show up to those events and just say they’ll show right? They do it to get a rise out of people and when the inevitable death threat comes their way they sue that person and make their money.

Treat the WBC like the little attention whores they are, you only encourage them by giving them attention. The sooner people stop paying attention to them the sooner they can’t do anything about it.

Anti-Christ always acuse others of being anti-Christ. God says in the New Testament that ye shall know them by their fruit and this group is rotten to the core. Their god is the father of lies the devil. And I hope they enjoy the pit of hades where they will spend a short time before they end in a fiery pit. Westboro Church serves the father of lies so very well. Kodos to the Teamsters for stopping this evil group from spreading their hate in the world. How dare Westboro judge innocent people. The Bible also says judge not lest ye be judge. They seem to not even ever read the Bible.

If I could have been there I would have waited till they all gathered in their church to go protest and backed my truck up against the front doors until the funeral was over. Then drove away like nothing happened. Protest that you F****** bigots.

@ porky ailes, Your state doesn’t need anyone bombing there. You all doing it yourself or is God sending bad karma your way. I have no doubt that the fertilizer plant owners had plans for “the plant was storing 270 tons of highly volatile ammonium nitrate fertilizer”, maybe making bombs yourselves to cause harm to maybe the government. www.google.com/url?sa=t...

Texans have no likeing for the EPA or OSHA. The plant wasn’t in spected by regulatory agencies for years. Self inspection…….lives lost due to company negligence pure and simple. Hope they are sued to the hilt!

The fire inspector and code enforcement officers should make regular inspections,,,,,,,,,)Is the IRS onto themWho is keeping the books?

Apparently WBC never showed up:
“Basic human decency won out: the Boston Globe reports that hundreds of counter-protesters gathered across the street from the church where the memorial for Campbell was held, but that the Westboro protesters never showed up at all.
Boston Magazine also reported that WBC was nowhere to be seen, as did a Teamsters website.”

It is sad there are people who wanted to block the Boston Bombing victims’ funeral service. Has society fallen into moral and spiritual decay?
