I went through your articles that were published during my period of electronic obsolescence. This politicization of religious fundamentalism is, together with the rise of the vicious Murdoch/ Ailes propaganda (and likely blackmail) machine, the way in which the masses are being stampeded into voting their enemies into office. As for Friedmanism, I believe it believes itself to be the puppeteer operating these marionettes, but how long it remains so depends on how willingly they are letting themselves be used by the Friedmanists, or, conversely, how sincerely they believe they are being used by God.

Your series is a very important one. I hope there is a way you can make it readily and permanently available.

We should be used to our leaders saying they are gods gift to the muslims and telling us how they want us to live. But we are not thank goodness. These people are turning religion into a terrible thing to have. And most other religions will let them do it.

Calling Bush an evangelical is a mighty big stretch. Calling his handlers opportunists willing to make use of evangelicals is much closer to the mark.
