Republicans Relive Defeat and Failure as Obama is Sworn in For His Second Term
The burn and sting that Republicans were feeling today as they watched Obama take the oath of office is a reminder of their crushing defeat and failure.
Watch President Obama begin his second term with the his official swearing in as President of the United States.
Here is the video:
It was the moment that Republicans worked every minute of the day to stop. It was also a moment that they also dreaded as deep in the dark corners of their minds, they felt the inevitability. When Barack Obama took the oath of office for his second time as president today it represented the success of the changing face of America, and the failure of the old guard to recapture power that may be forever gone.
The corporate billionaires threw in their pocket change millions. The white conservatives bubbled over with venom and rage. The South tried to muster its political strength. The old Republicans promised that this time these new young faces would not vote.
They dreamed. They conspired. They even invented polls that they thought would twist their visions of victory into reality.
In the end, here we are again. Barack Obama, the man they spent every waking second of the last four years trying to defeat, once again is their president.
Obama was able to again take this oath because of millions of Americans who didn’t go along with the plan. While the right was telling itself that anybody could defeat Obama, a majority was working hard to make sure that no one defeated Obama.
When Obama was sworn in for his second term, it was reminder to right wing billionaires that the presidency is not for sale. It was reminder to Republicans that the negative politics of obstruction had failed. It was a reminder to the people that they can make a difference. It was a reminder that hope and change are great ideals, but what we are fighting for is the future of the country.
Most of all, it was a reminder that for the next four years, Barack Obama will be our president.

They tried everything they could to make him a one-term president, and their best just wasn’t good enough. They were banking on having their nominee coast to a victory based on nothing but the
Anyone-But-Obama meme. But what they failed to take into account is that they weren’t offering anything except more of the same policies which got us into the mess he’s still cleaning up. Of all the sad sacks they had running for their party’s nomination, they picked a real loser whom they only tolerated because they thought he could beat Barack Obama. I’m quite sure they’ll be indulging in the same kind of whinefest they did 4 years ago today.

As the First couple gets ready for the inauguration the President looks out the window his eyes staring in the direction of the capitol.
The First lady sensing something was on his mind turned and immediately she knew what was on his mind
Then a slight smile came on his face and then the President said without hint of malice but of confidence said “What is best in life?
To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their
pea brain ditto-heads”
And with that the First lady ask softly”Are you fired up”The President said nothing. Then she said it louder “ARE YOU FIRED UP”The answer came back just as loud “READY TO GO’

Anne, you are one of the real reasons anyone watching this inauguration without rose colored glasses and their hands out were watching the further demise of this country. Congrats on your victory. Hope you grandchildren and their children think as highly of your uneducated, misinformed leftist decision to re-vote in a person who’s proven failed policies will only further our economic disaster, as you do. Be sure to tell the story numerous times to them, just before they slam you in your Obama-care “home” to rot.

For those Republican’s who can’t comprehend a Black Man as President:
Obama is for real. He’s smart, cool, calm and collected. He listens and rarely barks. He is an African-American, Christian family man and patriot doing what we, the majority, elected him to do.
Republicans lost again. Get over it. He’s not out to take your guns away, unless you need a semi-automatic rifle for hunting. If you do, hang it up. It’s time to wipe away the decades of prejudice and move on!

I’m so proud of the people who waited in hours long lines to beat the Gop. I’m proud that we the people beat the conspiring Koch brothers, and other evil billionaires. I’m proud of the Occupy Movement that changed the narrative from the debt over to income inequality. I’m proud of the Latino community for their organizers and clear messaging. I’m proud of youth, women and minorites that came out in droves for this president.
Most of all, I’m proud of Barack Obama.

We must work to retake as many state legislatures as possible in 2014 so that the laws that PA and other states are trying to enact to restructure the electoral vote count can be rolled back. It is essential that we do this. If we can do this, we can re-write these laws that re-apportion (gerrymander) electoral college votes before the 2016 presidential election. I’ve been doing a lot of reading about the states that are doing this, and the reason they are is because it will allow republicans to win states in which they don’t win the popular vote.

Steve Jobs was a life-long Republican. Russian born Sergi Brin of Google asked for all politicians to withdraw from political parties and supported no political party. According to Forbes, the richest man in the world is Mexican Billionaire Carlos Slim Helu, Gates and Buffet are 2nd and 3rd.

Except for one tiny fact. Out of the top 5 donors to each party, the lowest of the 5 GOP donors gave vastly more then the top 1 donor to the Dems.
Sorry, your Soros whine doesnt cut it. He was anywheress near the top 5 donors for the dems.
