Right…all those mob attacks and attempts on the lives of Repubs…their offices burned to the ground, casualties in the streets…Oops, I guess Repubs are going to have to work harder to get people to mindlessly repeat stories about the fictitious attacks on them. Perhaps you missed Walker’s discussion about planting troublemakers among demonstrators…and that Walker refuses to release any emails except those from his disingenuous “negotiation” pretense. Perhaps the media hasn’t reported the supposed “threats” and “attacks” on Repubs because, even though they’re the kind of complete fiction meant to demonize demonstrators the media gobbles up, some media outlets have some limits to the degree to which they can report outright lies. The real reason for the disarray surrounding the recall of Democrats is that it is not going well…Repubs have cloaked their efforts in secrecy (as usual), even refusing to release numbers because they don’t want light to shine on their anemic campaign. The “attacks” myth is just a cover to give them an excuse for their failure. Frankly, the People really don’t give a rat’s &%$ what the Repubs do with their feeble efforts to recall Dems, we’re far too busy trying to keep Fitzgerald from illegally disenfranchising us by barring our senators from voting, and doing a rockin’ job of collecting signatures to recall Repub senators.

BTW, we’ve been acting like “decent human beings” for a decade now, while the Walkers, Fitzgeralds and Grothmans of the world have called us “unpatriotic,” “unAmerican,” “socialists” and “commies” (and now “slobs”) for having the temerity to say, “Gee, wouldn’t be nice if all Americans had the opportunity to earn living wages, have access to affordable healthcare and retire with dignity.” Now when the Repubs work to further depress wages, dismantle public education and ruin small businesses (as Democrats, save 14 state senators, sit on their hands)…we’re being “unequal” because we’re saying, “ENOUGH ALREADY!” I can just imagine plantation owners drinking their julips complaining about those “uncivil” slaves crying out when whipped…yeah, we’re being “unequal”…right.

You go right ahead and participate in the destruction of the middle class…no one’s stopping you from working against your own interests, but don’t you dare call us hypocrites just because we’re no longer sitting idly by letting cheap labor conservative puppets further enrich corporations on our backs.

Perhaps you consider this getting “slammed”…I hope, instead, it’s a wake up call to stop allowing yourself to be duped by people who not only lie, but take pride in telling you they’re lying. Take a few minutes to follow the money…who has it and who is in line to get more of it. Take a look at the working and middle class lives of those supposedly “richly compensated” public workers (with their mortgages and second-hand cars). Count the numbers of jobs created with the succession of tax cuts that have been given corporations and the wealthy over the past decade. Take a look at the profits listed on corporate balance sheets and the payouts to their CEOs and shareholders. I’m guessing if you take a long hard look at all of that, you might actually become “sick of it all” and see that my rhetoric IS toned down…perhaps you’ll see me not as “volatile,” but pushed to the point of having to fight to protect my very life and my children’s future.
