ImageSomebody is spreading around an incorrect number that Hillary Clinton’s margin of victory was was only 8.6%. They are using this to build the case that the mainstream media is against Obama.

Nothing could be further from the truth. The media loves all three candidates, but it is in their best interests to keep interest up in the Democratic primary, because it is great for business. Cable news networks are experiencing record ratings due to this contest, so it is in their best interest to make it seem close and still in doubt.

The official numbers from the Pennsylvania Department of State show that with 99.44% of the vote reported, Hillary Clinton leads Barack Obama 54.6%-45.4%. It is possible to project depending on where the uncounted votes are coming from that Hillary Clinton will win the state by 10%. All the media did was round up her 54.6% to 55%. If Obama would have gotten 45.6% they would have rounded up to 46%. It is standard practice.

I don’t understand why some people can’t accept the loss and move on. This is what the Obama campaign has done, so can’t some of his supporters accept that Obama isn’t a perfect candidate, and some voters won’t vote for him.
