Left Behind: The Obama Appreciation Gap

Obama Visits Green Energy Manufactuing Plant

Your President spent a day in Real America to visit a smart energy grid manufacturing facility that is putting to use 1.3 million dollars in Recovery Act money. Oh, how can this be, when the man does nothing for the Left, let alone for America? I’m sure this little foray into green energy is meaningless. Just as our drawdown in Iraq is not worth talking about. After all, don’t we have better things to talk about, like how Obama betrayed us all by not giving us the Public Option he never promised us?

Nonetheless, being the Obama cheerleader that I am, I feel compelled to report on those small steps he takes on our agenda. Please don’t throw tomatoes of rage yet. I will pick on him mercilessly at the end. After all, we might have supported Clinton when the right took up pitchforks, and sure, maybe there’s more at stake now, but I’m mad. Fudge agendas, legislation and long term paradigm shifts.

In fact, I’m getting ready to accuse Obama of being Hitler. I’m only holding back because I put a lot of stake in not being a racist. The more he upholds the constitution, the angrier I get. Don’t ya’ just miss the Gutster? What I wouldn’t give to see a faux cowboy on his set ranch, all propped out with horses he was afraid to ride talkin’ about how people hated us for our freedoms as he stole them from us.

Oh, W, my pet goat. Happy days.

While your President was supporting green energy, he also supported keeping manufacturing jobs here in America. Does it never end?

President Obama traveled to Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin to visit the ZBB Energy Corporation’s manufacturing facility. ZBB Energy Corporation manufactures advanced zinc bromide flow batteries and intelligent control platforms. These are crucial components of building a smart energy grid and expanding the commercialization electric vehicles because they allow users to cut costs by shifting energy use to off-peak hours and bank intermittent sources of energy like the sun and wind for future use.

ZBB Energy Corporation is using $1.3 million in Recovery Act State Energy Program loans to fund a $4.5 million factory renovation to triple their capacity to manufacture flow batteries and power systems. As a result, the company has already retained a dozen workers and will hire about 80 new workers over time.”

Stimulus spent on green energy that is creating new manufacturing jobs which benefits small businesses. Meh.

Here’s a few words from your President (the philosopher king), lover of the constitution:

So we’re investing in 21st century infrastructure – roads and bridges, faster Internet access, high-speed railroads — projects that will lead to hundreds of thousands of private sector jobs….

We’ve cut taxes for small businesses that hire unemployed workers….

We expect our commitment to clean energy to lead to more than 800,000 jobs by 2012….

I just want everybody to understand –just a few years ago, American businesses could only make 2 percent of the world’s advanced batteries for hybrid and electric vehicles — 2 percent. In just a few years, we’ll have up to 40 percent of the world’s capacity….”

Wow! Oh, right. Bad President.

Then the President took a shot at the Republicans (who will soon be back in power thanks to the very unhappy Left who will stay home this fall after buying the Rights’ nihilist meme):

“And my answer to people who have playing politics the past year and a half is, they should come to this plant. They should go to any of the dozen new battery factories, or the new electrical vehicle manufacturers, or the new wind turbine makers, or the solar plants that are popping up all over this country, and they should have to explain why they think these clean energy jobs are better off being made in Germany or China or Spain, instead of right here in the United States.”

Blah, blah, blah. Promises kept: Tons of them. But I promised you some hard core rage at the man, so here we go: President Obama, WHY are you keeping your promises? Why are you failing to make Republicans and congress fund Gitmo closing? Why are you JUST LIKE BUSH?

And lastly, President Obama, how dare you uphold the constitution and rule with reason instead of pandering to your base like SOME people do. You will feel our wrath in 2012! We look forward to President Palin, who will surely care about green energy right after she starts World War III. Speaking of that, maybe we should stop shipping those Caimans out of Iraq. We’re gonna need them.
