Sarah Palin took to her Twitter account to let the world know that she thinks it is very unfair that Dr. Laura Schlessinger is ending her radio show at the end of the year due to the fall out from her racist n-word rant on the air last week. Palin wrote Dr. Laura’s resignation “isn’t American, not fair.”
The GOP media arm and political organization Fox News took to the airwaves today to continue their Fear And Anti-Law Campaign against the Cordoba Center (aka, the scary Mosque of terrorists). In order to really, really scare people, they dipped into their vast pool of political terrorists and came up with this guy, Walid Shoebat.
While endlessly professing their undying love for all things constitutional, the document, the Founding Fathers, strict constructionist judges, conservatives also hate the Constitution and are willing to throw it out in favor of a document founded on bigotry and religious intolerance.
Today the Democratic Governors Association issued a statement urging Fox News CEO Roger Ailes to disclose his networks donations to the Republican Party on the air, “In the interest of some fairness and balance, I request that you add a formal disclaimer to your news coverage any time any of your programs cover governors or gubernatorial races between now and Election Day.”
Turning Karl Marx upside down, Republicans argue that when the money is taken from the poor and Middle Class it is not class warfare. Rather, it is the natural order of things. The money goes where it is supposed to go according to trickle-down economics – into the pockets of the wealthy. Gone unsaid by the Republicans, these tax cuts increased the federal deficit.
