The fiscal cliff vote was full of peril for Republicans. Conservatives are calling for Boehner to be fired and the’re blaming Obama for the House GOP failure.
After much bluster and drama, the Republican divas in the House of Representatives caved, and gave President Obama almost everything that he wanted on the fiscal cliff.

House Republicans demanded that Obama and the Senate lead on the fiscal cliff, but are now objecting to passing the agreement that came out of their leadership.
In spite of the Republican love for bumper sticker slogans, a spending agreement was in the debt ceiling deal. It is called the Budget Control Act.
