Lindsey Graham Proves Ayatollah Right – America Is Disintegrating in Madness

Lindsey Graham War
It is certain that since Americans elected an African American man as President, much of the world is aware that Republicans have deliberately and with malice aforethought acted to wipe out America’s government in one form or another; only a comatose human being is unaware of that fact. Whether it was plotting to decimate the economy or cause a government credit default, Republicans have actively worked for the collapse of the political system (government) entirely. Now, the machinations of the Republicans have been exposed on the global stage and finally a foreign leader said what the world and an increasing number of Americans already know.

The Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei commented on the GOP-47’s open letter to Iran and said it represented “the collapse of political ethics and the U.S. system’s internal disintegration.” Khamenei noted that as a matter of course, nations are ‘typically’ loyal to their commitments even when the reins of power change hands, “but American senators officially announced the commitment will be null and void after this government leaves office. Isn’t this the ultimate degree of the collapse of political ethics and the U.S. system’s internal disintegration?”

The Supreme leader also observed, and rightly so, that every time negotiations between the P5+1 and Iran approach a deadline, “the tone of the Americans becomes harsher, harder and more violent. This is part of their tricks and deceits. Iranian officials know what they are doing.” However, none of the harsher tones are coming from “America,” they are coming from the violence-prone Koch Congress that is constitutionally prohibited from setting foreign policy or negotiation with foreign nations.

In that sense, the Ayatollah is wrong because the “tone, tricks, deceit, and threat of violence” do not originate from the only American that has authority to negotiate, President Barack Obama. The un-American warmongers do not speak for America; they have sworn allegiance and are beholden to a foreign government intent on a war with Iran for regime change. Something the Ayatollah noted in his response to the Republican-47 sabotage letter.

He said Iranian officials understand exactly why House Speaker John Boehner invited a foreigner to lobby Congress to halt the U.N. negotiation process with Iran. Khamenei said that when Republicans invited a “Zionist clown” to deliver a speech to Congress, it was to demand that the “emerging agreement” come to an end. The GOP-47’s letter was an extension of that process as the letter organizer Senator Tom Cotton admittedwas very much an intended consequence.” Cotton, like many Republicans including Lindsey Graham, very much wants a substantial war with Iran for the purpose of regime change and transferring more American wealth to the military industrial complex.

It is likely that most Americans are aware the Lindsey Graham is a war monger and would repeat the Bush administration Iraq debacle and borrow America into oblivion to wage multiple wars around the globe. What is revealing is that while Graham complains loudly about the wasteful cost of the Affordable Care Act and any federal government spending for domestic programs, he perpetually demands more money for the military industrial complex. The war monger has openly opposed the Pentagon’s own cost-cutting measures since America is no longer borrowing and spending a few trillion dollars fighting two unnecessary wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and he told a conservative gathering exactly what he would do to spend more on war.

Graham said that if he was president, the first thing he would do is use the military to keep legislators in Washington until they restored the defense budget to a level he deems appropriate. A level appropriate to fight several concurrent wars involving American ground troops he and Tom Cotton believe should be against ISIS, Iran, Russia, and Syria.

In fact, Graham is so intent on reversing defense spending cuts in the Republican sequester, he would restrict the movement of congressional legislators until his demands are met and the cuts are reversed and spending is increased. Graham said he would forbid Congress to leave Washington D.C. under threat of the United States military. He said to keep them there, “if I were the president I wouldn’t let Congress leave town until we fix this. I would literally use the military to keep them in session.” This is precisely the mindset the Ayatollah was referring to when he said “the U.S. political ethics and internal system is disintegrating;” into what is arguably tyrannical neo-con fascism.

It is noteworthy that Lindsey Graham is a leading Republican voice complaining bitterly and perpetually that President Obama’s executive orders on immigration and climate change are unconstitutional, dictatorial, and gross abuses of executive authority. As the Ayatollah said, the GOP 47’s letter points to the US disintegration and if Republicans had their way, America would disintegrate into a neo-con fascist dictatorship waging perpetual wars; mostly on Israel’s behalf.

Graham, like Tom Cotton and the GOP-47, have revealed that their preference to replace what is left of this sad deteriorating representative democracy is a cabal of “petty neo-con tyrants representing the military industrial complex” and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. It is a sad commentary when an alleged oppressive regime’s leader issues an all too prescient statement about the condition of America’s fractured government. What he did not say, is that the only reason there is an ultimate degree of the collapse of political ethics and the U.S. system’s internal disintegration” is because Republicans cannot countenance that this country is not shedding more American blood for Israel.

  1. War, War & more War! This is the reason for our countries financial problems. The Industrial Military Complex has set us in a deep hole mostly for the contractors that cheat, steel & over pay for the war machine just to make this war machine more profitable so they can stash that money in off shore accounts to evade taxes. The Republicans are the ones that are in the pockets of our IMC (also most Dem’s are too because of the massive money they get in kick backs) and want more war that kill more people to make money off those young lives. The USA has been lied into war / police actions since the end of WWII in 1945 and still the people believe them and not till after 10 yrs do they see how bad they were lied to and still think these lairs are telling the truth of fear so they let these war mongers run us into another war. Wake the HELL up and Just say NO!!!

  2. “Cotton, like many Republicans including Lindsey Graham, very much wants a substantial war with Iran for the purpose of regime change and transferring more American wealth to the military industrial complex.”
    ———————————–
Transferring American wealth to his (Cotton’s) own pockets is very much a piece of this plan also. Likewise I’m sure many other members of the Gang of 47 will also profit handsomely.

  3. America is the last colonial Empire and the last bastion of White male dominance.

Their shining Phallus on the Hill has gone flaccid, and no matter how much blood they pump into it, it will never regain its former rigidity.

The Dominionists have shot their wad, and failed.

Time to stop humoring the whack jobs.

  4. “. Graham said he would forbid Congress to leave Washington D.C. under threat of the United States military.”

Wasn’t Miss Lindsey one of those calling President Obama a dictator? Ironic huh?

  5. Republicans and Conservatives have always claimed that government does not work…and then they get elected and prove that indeed government does not work. So even though the right wing is responsible for the failure of government to work they insist and demand that it is the Democrats that have made it so because the right wing does not have the common sense or courage to accept any responsibility. Republicans and Conservatives have made this nation into a laughing stock in the eyes of the world. Only the courage and REAL PATRIOTISM of the Left have kept us from getting involved in another world war.

  6. I somewhat agree with the author meaning: all Rmuse said is true imo, but I believe in America’s ability to withstand this onslaught.

There was a time when Monarchy’s were the norm, and they are nearly gone.

We survived the civil war and the good side won.

    We escaped McCarthyism.

The Grant administration, the Bush 2 administrations were corrupt and we overcame them.

America is evolving, which is why the white religiousy insane power mad men are lashing out. Dangerous? You betcha!

New territory? Sort of, so there is not exact precedence, but some parallel with old south, feudal England.

Shoot, look at the Cuban missile crisis.

I’m encouraged because of Ferguson protesters, fast food wage protesters, ending slavery and Europe’s maturation.

We have to fight the neo-cons hard, loud and without fear and it will be ugly and painful.

But I think America will survive as well as progress against these antiquated white zealots.

    Hope I’m right.

  7. I think that all GOP lawmakers should be drafted in to the military, and they should be the very first troops deployed to war.

  8. Graham is on the payroll of AIPAC and the “MIC”. These two lobbies sent him and Liebermann along with McCain when that old guy was running for president – to correct McCain any time he didn’t pander enough.

Graham is is a chicken hawk who loves to send OTHER PEOPLE to war, spending all of our money on the MIC instead of the American people.

Suggestion – next war, he, McCain, Liebermann, BiBi, Jeb Bush and this new crackpot who authored the Iran letter should get uniforms and go lead fight themselves…. from the front lines.

  9. In other words, graham would declare Martial Law on a pretext, as long as he or the republicans are in charge. This is a neocon and warmonger, like the rest, who never saw or engaged in combat and is as soft as a marshmallow when it comes to his person. As I have said before, 2016 will be the most important election in the history of this nation; it will save or destroy us!!! We need to rid Washington of the neocons.

  10. “Next war”? I believe that group could find a little military action today without looking too hard. After all, there not much they like more than funding them!

  11. Charles and David didn’t actually explain to Lyndsay what it was he was supposed to say, just to say it. Their audience has a 5 second attention span.

  12. Well America is and was the world’s dumping ground for crazies.

And now, the chickens have come home to roost.

Lindsey’s hands have never been sullied with something like honest work.

  13. Conservatives want regime change in our country as well. They want to cause enough chaos and confusion to make us look bad to the world in hopes that some group of extremists somewhere think it is a good time to attack us in some way. Then, they exploit whatever happens and cause more chaos and confusion, and when everything is boiling over at once, they are going to try to pull off an American coup d’état. They are traitors and the people like me probably don’t even know the half of what they have done to their own nation. Look at what republican Governors are doing to their own states. Put it together.

  14. It is worse with Graham who is a Colonel in the Reserves as a JAG officer teaching classes. If I was President for a day, he would be brought up on charges using UCMJ for undermining the President of the United States. As a officer of the military at any level you take an oath –“I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.” (Title 10, US Code; Act of 5 May 1960 replacing the wording first adopted in 1789, with amendment effective 5 October 1962). “So help me God” may be omitted.

Been around the AF most of my adult life and tell me why Lyndsey Graham should not be subject to the UCMJ violation as he is still an active JAG.

  15. Can I put another spin on the 47’s Sabotaging, goofy letter to: Whom it May Concern, in Iran?
It’s like an open letter written to all parents of the Freshman class in High school, telling them to not participate in PTA meetings, because they will hear “bad things” about them from their teachers—and asking their teachers to SIGN IT! And they do!
    Get it? ;)

  16. Tip: calling on your political opponent to “courageously” do whatever you tell them to do is the laziest possible type of punditry. People who engage in it should be laughed at.

Mitt Romney says President Barack Obama could silence critics like him by walking away from a nuclear agreement with Iran, arguing in a USA Today op-ed published Friday that it would be “courageous” and “right.”

  17. We need to discover just who is set to profit monetarily in war…Halliburton? Somebody’s making money. Any representative or senator that has in stock in military defense companies should be banned from a vote due to conflict of interest. Put it all out there.

  18. Lindsey Graham is giving me the creeps! I don’t know about y’all, but the things he has been saying and the way he has been saying it….especially his psychotic hate talk about Obama is showing his weird persona. Is he going batchit crazy? What’s up with him? Why is he called Miss Lindseey? Why is it so hush-hush? How much is he liked on Capitol Hill? In his State? Why does the media (especially FOX) so enamored with him (her) that they bring him on their shows time after time after time? What is his appeal? He looks as though he is not a happy person. Got issues and anguishes over them. Could that be why he pontificates hatefully against the president? I am tired of seeing him. He is offensive. I see no positive attitudes or agenda from him. WHY is he sooooo regarded by the “lame stream media” according to Sarah Palin?

  19. I think they are calling him a ‘woos’ or a ‘fairy’ when they call him those names! He is a bit strange I have to say.
IF he IS gay that is not a problem, but his whole persona is really twisted which is why he gets labelled in the first place. So many politicians ‘feel’ to others like complete phonies – so this is just where it leads and why he feels so creepy !

  20. Not 2016, 2020. Arkansas has a law on the books that somebody can not hold or campaign for more than 1 federal office at a time. If Cotton wanted to run in next year’s election, he’d have even less experience than Obama had had plus he’d have to resign when he announced. There is a move in AK to change the rules so that Cotton can run for both the presidency and his current senate seat in 2020.

  21. Maybe you should look around the world a bit before you declare that America is the last bastion of white male dominance. [WINK]

  22. Fiddly dee, Miss Lindsey, why do ya always get the
vapors every time our president’s name is mentioned?
Chill out before ya break yo folding lace fan or worse
spill yo mint julep all over yo pretty hoop skirt!!!

  23. I think all members of Congress should have to reveal if they have vested interest in stocks they make decisions on in congress!

  24. Robyn,

    FTW!

Just like the Senate, most of them are flaccid. That is why we have so damned many ED commercials on teevee, men and their pathetic members!

Sick to death of the warmongers.

  25. All animals are extremely dangerous when backed into a corner and fighting for their lives. The GOP is reaching this point and is no exception.
