Last Week Tonight with John Oliver perfectly summed up all of the incorrect Republican predictions of the end of Obamacare in less than two minutes.
Last Week Tonight with John Oliver: And Now – People Prematurely Declaring The End of Obamacare
And now five years at people prematurely declaring the end of Obamacare:
Obama: Today after all the votes have been tallied, health insurance reform becomes law in the United States but just seven minutes
Later the ink barely dry:
Republicans launched a counterattack. I’m confident that the court is going to declare the new health care reform law unconstitutional.
Andrea, some have said that this is maybe the beginning of the end.
It is make it happen next week in the United States Congress and we could put an end to Obamacare.
Michele Bachmann’s campaign promise to quote end Obamacare.
Sure sounds like the beginning of the end for Obamacare.
Obamacare is this the beginning at the end for the Affordable Care Act.
Hearing today at the supreme court could lead to the collapse of Obamacare, could spell the end of Obamacare.
Obama: After multiple challenges before the Supreme Court, the Affordable Care Act is here to stay.
Right as his audience is clapping at Obama’s victory statement, a clip loads in which it is admitted that this is not the end of Republicans trying to dismantle Obamacare. Of course, that will all be rhetorical red meat for their base. We are still waiting for Representative Paul Ryan (R-WI) to come up with an actual alternative to Obamacare. Don’t hold your breath.
Reminder: They called it Obamacare as a smear, but now that the public is liking it more and more, it’s still going to be called Obamacare.

You can say a lot of negative things about repugs that are true but one of the biggest truths is they are the most annoying group of poor losers we have ever seen.
The gopers hate it when our collective reality doesn’t jibe with their fantasy bubble. They are a sorry mess…
…did anyone REALLY think the Teatards would act like civilized people???
Forget Obamacare. Forget Marriage Equality.
The Village Idiots STILL haven’t gotten over the FACT that they LOST the Civil War
150 years Ago.
And WE are supposed to listen to THEM?
Sorry. I refuse to listen to anyone that STUPID.
Never underestimate the power of the forces of Mediocrity.
Of course they’ll fight it- it made them look like the fools we know they are. And their pride, is far more important to them than anything- including lives.
that is the most brilliant and to the point statement ever made. I think they actually believe that if they throw a big enough fit, the rest of the country will just cave like an exhausted mother with a obnoxious two year old.
Oh, yeah….
The GOP are great “sore losers” and petulant children when they don’t get their way.
Someone go to the maternity store and get a few thousand “binkys” for these whining GOP babies. LMAO
Yep, the GOP will continue to fight the PPACA, in the tradition of the “Bushido Code”…
Back in days before and during WWII, at least half of the Japanese military adhered to the Bushido Code, which, in English, means “fight to the death, never surrender”. In order to get enough Japanese to “wake up” and accept defeat in WWII, we had to drop two “atom bombs” on them.
So, in order to get the GOP to stop fighting, we need to drop a “political atom bomb” on them: go to the polls and vote them OUT while voting in Democrats.
This is one of many cases where Republican politicians prove me correct when I say/write that one of the 10 “Tenets” of the GOP is insanity….
One definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over again, hoping for different results.
The PPACA isn’t the only issue where the GOP show us that they’re clearly insane…Benghazi, IRS, same-sex marriage, etc. are just a few of them.
It’s kinda funny that the GOP keeps saying it is the party of personal freedom, and that government should get out of our lives.
They are the party who wants to decide who can marry, also whether a woman may use a contraceptive, or have an abortion. They want people who are not republicans to have to go thru hoops to prove they can vote.
They want the middle class and poor to pay taxes, but they all want tax breaks and loopholes for themselves.
You left out the multidivorced, cheating, prostitute paying, “wide stance” closeted “Family Values” Party.

DJ, thank you for that link. I couldn’t help but grin widely as I looked at those pics!
You know the one thing I took from the pics was it was a majority of women at a Presidential briefing.
